Great video. I am 69 and have made so many foolish financial mistakes in my past like blowing money on clothes, makeup, switching out furniture like you once did, etc. I’m a minimalist now for about 4 years and trying so hard to be aware and careful with where my money goes. It’s never too late to learn and change bad habits. You are an inspiration, and even in my old age, I need that every now and then. So thank you Joan 😊

I totally agree, this topic is soooo important! A lot of people don’t realize that their idea of money can come from as early as their childhood. I’m glad you were able to get something out of this video. Thank you for watching!

In my situation when "money" was talked about the conversation was too heavy for a young person. It felt like making money is a "burden" and loaded with "politics." These intellectual discussions made me feel like having a business was tiring. One of my relatives had a small business and I wanted something to do; the task they gave me was one they didn't want to do themselves.( cold call people on the phone and set up appointments) Really??? Their intent was to expose me to "business," but the reality for a young person was is it this serious? Your video inspired me to look at this deeper. Thank you so much.

Thank you for sharing your story! I absolutely agree, I can understand that the way it was exposed to you wasn’t in a positive way as a young person. But I’m glad I was able to inspire you in some way. :) thanks for watching!

Church/Mass perpetuates so much classhole talk. My parents never talked about $. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

Ugh, yeah unfortunately so. And never talking about money is not helpful either. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you!

I remember growing up and my parents always telling me that money stinks! Its so weird how little comments like that stick to you and you have to make efforts later in life to reverse those thought patters.

It’s definitely surprising how far back our thoughts on money come from, as far as our childhoods. But it’s never too late to change our minds about money! Thanks for watching!

Great video! One bad one is a family that doesn’t talk about money much at all. With our children we intend to have open and honest conversations so that they can be set for success! 🎉

That's a good one! I definitely hear about people not talking about money at all, and that's not helpful, at all. You're going to have great children that have financial education thanks to you. :) Thank you so much for watching!
