    Welcome to where I i was born! I was waiting for this episode since you left Florida. I'm glad you pointed out all the high rise buildings. They are quite impressive on how they are built. You would think they are affordable since there are so many but the prices are unbelievably expensive. 😢 Your visit to the temple is very different than your typical tourist walks along Tsim Sha Tsui area.

    Nice. I was watching the cruise mapper app when you sailed out of Hong Kong. I thought it was interesting that you took the long way out of the harbor. The other ship docked with you (mein schiff) didn't get that treat.

    • @bztravel
      @bztravel  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hong Kong port authority gave us a special permission to sail through Victoria Harbor at night. It was like having VIP access to one of the most stunning nightscapes you could imagine. The views were absolutely out of this world - literally felt like we were in a movie. It was a unique experience that not every ship gets to have.

    The streets did not have as much traffic as I expected. I really do like that you go to the out-of-the-way places. It looks like you’re wearing a new blouse navy is one of my great go tos for dressing.
    I think that harbor at night has to be the most beautiful skyline in the world. On another video I heard that later you had some rocking and rolling. Thanks for another great video and stay safe

    • @bztravel
      @bztravel  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "rocking and rolling" ??? We had to make a sharp turn to avoid a little boat, but honestly, there was no real drama. The ocean was as calm as a lake, super smooth sailing. So, no wild ocean tales this time.

    Really enjoyed HK. Y'all are a great team. I see y'all communicating with each other to keep shots interesting and the piece moving. Again I am impressed with the audio mix and I notice very few transitions and almost no edits. Seamless start to finish.
    In similar fashion to Z, I also enjoy trying a local beer in each port. It makes me smile when he gets one. I think y'all are doing a great job and eagerly await your future endeavors.

      My favorite beer is Pilsner Urquell (the original and best pilsner). And is available in the Crown and Castle Pub on the ship. I checked before booking the cruise and that sealed the deal. I hope they do not run out, it will be a major and dramatic thing for me.

      Doing our best to keep things as real-time as possible, but we're usually a tiny bit behind - 2-3 days after we've actually visit each port. Each video takes us about 2 to 4 hours of work, but it's totally worth it.We want to show you the world through our eyes, not just tell you about it. Thanks for noticing the effort and for the love.

    Great vlog. Would love to hear about the Visa processes for your trip. Please cover🙏

    • @bztravel
      @bztravel  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the love on the vlog! About the visa processes, it was smoother than we thought it'd be. Royal Caribbean gave us a nudge towards a visa service, but we decided to tackle it on our own. Turns out, most of the places we visited didn't even require a visa, and for the few that did, e-visas were super easy to sort out online. Plus, the crew onboard help folks fill out any necessary forms. As for China, we were set with a 10-year visa from a trip we took a while back. We gotta say, though, we're no visa gurus, and the last thing we'd want is to accidentally mislead anyone with our advice. So, we'll stick to what we know best - sharing our adventures!

    Fabulous! Oh it's changed so much! I was there in 95 and 97 - before the handover. We also went to Lan Tau Island and saw the Buddha, and visited the fishing village but back then there was no cable car - we had to get a ferry, and there were no boat trips - we just walked through the houses on stiils with the ladies all playing Mahjong and the click of the tiles was everywhere. You had a great time to spend there and to be in the center of it on the ship just fabulous! For shopping I went to Stanley Market - really great bargains in a seaside vibe. I'm so enjoying this trip with you - enjoy the sea day!

      That's incredible to hear about your experiences back in '95 and '97 - what a different world it must have been pre-handover!
      We saw men playing Mahjong in the village, we did not record much of the villagers, I felt that camera in their face will be rude and intrusive but we enjoy just walking and seeing how they live. Not many tourist walk the village, all just go for the boat ride.
      Thanks for sharing your memories with us.

    • @herenow6953
      @herenow6953 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@bztravel from memory the walk through the houses felt quite intrusive as there weren't really walkways as such - just routes for them to get in and out so understand not filming. What a fascinating place - great to see it's still there and given it's now a full on tourist destination, i guess they'll let it stay like that to keep the tourists coming - a win for the village I guess -
