Our first destination is the famed Clan Jetties, where historic waterfront settlements on stilts tell the story of Penang's multicultural roots. As we meander through the jetties, we encounter a lively blend of tourist-friendly shops and authentic residential areas, providing a glimpse into the daily lives of the locals.
The highlight of our visit is exploring Georgetown, Penang’s capital city. Thankyou for sharing. I’ll be there in August travelling alone from Perth Western Australia. I backpacked there in 1978 and 1985 but only briefly. In October of last year I was in Georgetown for a few hours only from a cruise ship. Can’t wait to return!! I’ll have three days in Georgetown and two in Batu Ferringhi…I want to return to the places I saw back then. I’m staying in a small hotel overlooking the clan jetties, and then on batu ferringhi beach. It’s only 14 weeks away and your video gave me a few more ideas to add to my ever growing list!
