4 AM is usually when I wake up in late spring and summer (May, June, and July) when the sun rises nice and early. I live in northern New England (northeastern US near Canada) and I love being up early to greet the sun (yes, I really do say "hi" to the sun as corny as that is). It's nice to make breakfast and just look out into my back yard as I eat. Winter though I sleep in a little later, until like 5 AM, as the sunrise here isn't until well after 7 AM, but I do enjoy looking at the stars in the early morning hours. I did get up absurdly early this morning, 2:40 AM because I made myself a bigger dinner than I'd originally planned and went to bed at 8 PM as a result. I'm hoping I don't get locked into a 2:30 AM-3 AM wake up routine as that's too early even for me.
