Slipknot's lyrics are too deep and doesn't motivate me as much as Hatebreed. Their riffs and drums and effects are good though. Disturbed is my fave too. Their Immortalized album is insanely good.

I don't like hardcore that much, but hatebreed is one of those bands that I actually bought a ticket to go see. They're a different genre. I don't mosh pit, but I want to see them live
I saw them live with All That Remains and 5FDP a few years ago. Hatebreed put on a better sounding show than either of the other two.
I seen them in Winnipeg at the Garrick theater (smaller venue) but those are the best shows ever. It was a fucking killer show and the pit was like a swarm of angry wasps, which I was in all night and took my lumps like everyone else. Lol They got me into Hardcore when I seen "Perseverance" on Much Loud. This band will never die for me. So positive but still edgy enough to make me bang it out even today when all bands are getting more extreme by the year. Legends are forever. Hatebreed is forever.

There is almost always more positive than other genres. The people who play in metal, Metalcore, Deathcore, and so on are also almost always very nice people in life.
A little over 2 years ago gang members pulled up next to me in a car and shot me for wearing the wrong colors...I got hit with a .45 hollowpoint in my left forearm almost blew my shit off....this song has been helping me get through some of the most toughest times of my life and I thank u guys so much 👊

I’ve had 9mils in my chest, revolvers to the temple, stared down the barrel of a 22... just been left for dead more times than I can count. Kept getting back up and letting music be my voice as I kept it all inside and just did the only thing I knew how to do, crank the volume up on tunes like this and scream til I lost my ability to vocalize. All these years later I’m proud to say my speakers are still loud, my music still brutal, and my throat still sore. Rock on my dudes.
My older brother turned me on to this life saveing music. The words were so clear message received sir! loud and clear .
Their lyrics are very realistic and Philosophical. That's what makes Hatebreed stand out. Oh and their riffs are very good too. Their one song that saved me the 1st time is You're Never Alone. I always listen to their song when I'm down ever since that day.
Kaje Ralocse metal and hard rock helped me out alot. hatebreed trivium and cold will always be a few of the best bands in my eyes even when they have shifted their style a bit.

Now I'm 43 and I made it through depression and everything the world has thrown at me. It's not done yet and I am not done either. That's all I gotta say for now.
