Its idea is kind of a longshot but maybe they could find a way to make the capes removable and if you have multiple versions of the character with the different capes you could swap around with them

Hi. I just want to say thank you very much for this videos . I love the details of your videos very crisp and close to the real deal. For me who dont have these figures this is my go to. Thank you!
Really great batman, I have him and the comedian joker and those are some of the best dc multiverse figures to date, but seems like the new rebirth batman might dethrone it
I literally only keep picking this Batman up off my shelf even took it to work 2day and with my repaint of shadows and black underwear he's looking pretty mean.
Thia haa damn sure been a fun wave I just need Red Hood Both my missing jokers coming soon I got 1 from my Amazon locker waiting on the Clown and my Batman 3 jokers is coming 2morrow and my neighbor has my Year 2 Batman. & no I don't like when the capes are in pose they have make variants for those.
I just started collecting the DC Mcfarlane figures I got this Batman it's my favorite one along with the animated Flash figure and Rebirth Superman. As for the Three Jokers wave I have them all except for the clown Joker.
I’ve recently gotten into dc multiverse and I’m looking for a Batman. I play with them so I like the shoulders to have more range. This figure really looks great and I think I may have found my Batman. I may like others more aesthetically but I think this is one of the best for posing. Amazing review
Definitely the best Batman MacFarlane has released yet. I’ve bought two, one I will keep as is, the other one I plan on painting the trunks black. Thanks for the review as usual!
Nice! you finally got him. For real, yours looks way better than mine. When I got mine, the right bicep came apart. Also the black line printed on his lips are not centered and offset to the bottom lip. Kinda sucks. Im thinking of getting another one.
@@JoshFromBefore I received my 2nd Batman figure recently. All is fine but.....it cannot stand strait. Seems to me, it has bad ratcheting joint on both feet. So I had to swap the legs with my other Batman. sigh..
Bro I think youve convinced me to just order from Amazon. I preordered this and kohtal Kahn from GameStop along with the halo 20th anniversary 2 pack and I’m still waiting 😞
I took this Batman and re painted the belt a gold-copper mix. Looks much better. Added a DYLANFIGS04 Faux Leather Wired Cape in black, Figure looks excellent on a flight stand with the flight-cape. Very aggressive and about to swoop in.
I agree with all of your assessments and I'm interested in this figure for the same reasons. Would love it more if it came with an action cape. I didn't want to get one more batman but I've been waiting so long to find this design. I would trade them all in for just this one.
I prefer a more posed action-y cape. The capullo Batman one is definitely a little extreme, but something like that initial Superman cape or even the cape on that first Batman they put out, those I really dig
The fins look slightly too long may be because they're at the side like you say🤔 I prefer action capes because I like posing my figures in action poses.
Nice review! Even though this line has given me a lot of Batmans already, I'll probably be picking up this one as well lol, the design is too nostalgic to me. I'll have to wait to have it in hand to see if it replaces the Todd designed Batman as my favorite though!
I actually thought this was the best batman figure in the whole Mcfarlane line but now looking at it, it seems alright, but I have the rebirth batman and its def a great batman but I'm trying to find that great batman figure I need
Thoughts on the McFarlane diaper? It always bums me out and looks weird. It basically just bums me out how they never look the same as the painted plastic. It stands out too much (IMO).
It needs improvement, but I can tell it’s something they’re putting a lot of effort into and attempting different approaches, so I’m confident that they’ll eventually arrive at something that looks as good as possible with the best functionality.
I don't get the fuss about this one. The head looks incredibly small (look at it next to the joker) and the legs are so long compared to the torso.....
The biggest problem with DC figures will always be the capes. A cape can be the coolest add on to a figure when it’s cloth.. but it’s always thick rubber and makes articulated figures into static trash. Im so sick of these rubber vests, coats and capes that completely hinder articulation.
If they’re going to use rubber.. can they make it extremely soft and pliable? Find a very soft rubber that doesn’t rip and use it for long hair, coats and capes?
Can't help but notice his bad proportions. Im big on anatomy, mostly for human characters. Legs are too long OR torso is too narrow and head too small.
No need to talk bad about legends. You know why you dont see legends collectors talking bad about mcfarlane? They know for fact that legends are far superior.
@@JoshFromBefore If the mcfarlane figures had the same diversity of characters I'd think of the line higher. Right now its just the Batman figure line with supporting cast. I think each line does things differently. The sculpt work and paint on mcfarlane figures is fantastic where marvel legends has character diversity and a bunch of accessories. I collect and love both lines mcfarlane just irritates me a little more because I just am looking for a collection of the different DC characters not just different variations of Batman.
Love how this is basically a Batman Inc. costume design (my all time fav Batman look).
Its idea is kind of a longshot but maybe they could find a way to make the capes removable and if you have multiple versions of the character with the different capes you could swap around with them
That would be awesome. Looks like the upcoming General Zod has a removable cape but he kind of wears it like a shawl
@@JoshFromBefore the year two Batman cape is removable
I love this figure. I painted the trunks black, the inside of his cape blue, and a light blackwash. He looks just like the Animated Series Batman.
This is my favorite Batman to date, and personally I like the rubber capes
Give me the static/neutral pose cape all day over the windswept look
love the multiverse line, tons and tons of great sculpts
These are some of my favorite reviews. Appreciate you!

Your right about your suspicion about Mcfarlane using print tech on their paint. I saw a flash figure at Walgreens that has his lips on his chin.
I literally only keep picking this Batman up off my shelf even took it to work 2day and with my repaint of shadows and black underwear he's looking pretty mean.

The Three Jokers is actually a more recent design than the Rebirth.
It will be easier to decide who Batman goes with when the rebirth one comes out. It looks beautiful. The Damian looks good too

Now I gotta go figure hunting for this 1. 😎 video 👍
Found one at Target a few days ago. I don't care for the scale of the grapnel launcher.

Dc collectibles new 52 Capulo batman could do the holding 3 batarangs and came with the tiny batarangs so tiny and easy to lose

I had to get a second Year 2 to get a good one

I like both static and stylized cape…. So the of both is a wired cloth cape…. That’s what I do to all my Batman figures
I’m starting to warm up to cloth capes, I’ve never enjoyed them much until recently
@@JoshFromBefore just now installed a cloth cape .Wow ! Posted on Instagram -makes all the difference
great review! hopefully i get mine soon, it's marked as "late" by amazon :/
This will be my definitive Batman. I may sell that other classic Batman.

This is nightwing from which collection, guys?
Love it

The Todd Batman is great, I’d like to see more of his designs so I can put him, WW, and others on their own shelf

I don’t mind exaggerated proportions as long as they suit the character - like if they’re meant to evoke power, speed, etc.
