Everyone I know and watch on YT, especially myself, does incomplete pre-flight checks, Even the guys who fully disassemble their models for transport and build them at the field. Fortunately today that wasnt a crashing offense.
I bought my Special Edition almost two years ago I think when you guys flew it for their release announcement, and there was a special price. I kept it in my hangar for at least 6 months because I didnt feel ready to fly something that nice. Its still in mint condition, despite many dozens of flights. I almost wish I'd crash it so I had an excuse to buy the Ultimate. To this day I still only have one 5S battery...
Hi Abby and Nate great looking plane . I was going to say good price $357 that’s great . But I will never get it on mobility scooter, unless I have a sign back of scooter saying wide load.
YES ! you can say a Huber. But it's called slow flight in a real airplane. But there's more to it to put a real airplane in a slow flight maneuver. But in hobby radio control flying full flaps slow the air plane down then add little by little power and keep it in a slow fight, to turn just add rudder to turn. I love slow to doing slow flights. Remember it's not how fast you fly it's how well you fly, be a good pilot
Beautiful plane. Love the size. As for the safe flight, I’m all for that. At the end of the day, before the sun sets. A big plane just flying slow and easy. So relaxing and pretty in the sky. @@TheRcSaylors I sure wish I would have kept that airplane! I sold it in the early 90s. I'm seeing that you can still buy kits on the Sig website. Might have to wait for one but nice winter project. When I got mine in the 80s they only had 1 size Cadet the one they call Cadet Sr. now and there's also a Cadet Senorita which is a bit smaller and you can build it in electric power. Realflight has the Senorita on the simulator. Congrats on the big news and I really enjoy your videos!
I would 100% back you up on recommending this model, I’ve been flying mine since September last year. The stabiliser in mine is redundant though, I never use it, it’s such a nice flying aeroplane.

I have a plug and play E-flite Air Tractor that I have reprogrammed the receiver to have a choice of safe on, asx on or both off. That might be something you can do with the your receiver for this aircraft.

I'm kinda husky myself. No brainer I should own one. I have piles of 4s and even bigger pile of 6s packs but no 5s... I have a 4s 2200 that I bought a long time ago that may finally gain a model to fit into. Hope it's still viable. ;-)

After flying jets what is like to fly a big slow plane from an excitement perspective? I found I couldn't go back and needed more and more speed. But not necessarily less stability in flight and landings :)

@@TheRcSaylors I ended up ordering my first plane while at work for 18 hours, and screwed that up?I decided on the Eflight Apprentis 1.5 m, RTF, but ordered the 1.2m Apprentice like your wife flew in the video. Did I screw up too bad, it comes in next week , should I enjoy it as my first plane, or send it back for the bigger one, or something else? If I can fly my first, I wanted the Super Timber, Arrows Husky, or similar SWS Balsa as my 2nd plane, thank you for all your help and excellent videos! Donn
