You should really put out so many videos. You do good editing, present info straight to the point with enough character to make it fun, and your voice is a pleasure to listen to.
Have to say I am SO GRATEFUL that I got all the Argent Tourney stuff done back in Wrath. The pets sell well, but I can't make myself go back.

I had been waiting for this one since finding the others, glad it's finally arrived. Great guide btw, only a few I don't have (ulduar and the tourny) but well recommended for the beginners at mount farming too. Get well soon from that cold and I'm waiting for the cata one now :p

your earlier play by play is what helped me get the achieve for the ulduar protos. was very helpful. i got the tlpd from some people grouped from secret finders discord i met out there. super nice people invited me in, and coached me. still have the ss of us all mounted next to the corpse.

when i was doing the eye of eternity i ended up gettign both mounts dropped. this was during a time where my mount luck was being massively insane. now it's been a year since a mount drop from a dungeon,raid or world boss xD
For the "I've been waiting a long time for this" achievement:
Necrotic Plaugue will jump to the adds. Just tank the adds until the dot jumps back to you at 30+ stacks. Do not kite the adds as you could range distance the dot will jump.
I got both the Blue and Azure drakes from a single run. I felt pretty badass..

Great video, although there is missing only one. The red protodrake, obtained by completing the achievement "glory of the hero". Is done with a series of achievements in most of northrend heroic dungeons.

I had totally forgotten about the Eye of Eternity mounts. Did 25 man heroic and dropped the Azure drake.
Feel better buddy and thanks for doing this video. I have almost all of these mounts (I swear one day Skadi will drop his bloody mount) but the nostalgia for me is really high. I still remember the first time I ever found out that soloing old raids was a possibility and my favourite "guide guy" took me through OS3D to get the mount from there I didn't already own. #GoodTimes

Tip for the Wyrmrest accord and Sons of Hodir rep grind: Buy rep tokens during WotLK timewalking week. 500 rep for 50 badges, and they're account wide and can be send over to the character you doing the rep on. The first weekly timewalk dungeon gives you a quest item that rewards 500 badges = 5000 reputation per alt :) not bad for running only 1 dungeon

The ICC Dragon Boss you are supposed to heal is 100% Skippable, run through the room's center and do not gain aggro to the elevator in the back.
"I've Been Waiting A Long Time For This" achievement now works without an extra person or pet present. Don't kill any mobs. It'll bounce from the mobs back to you and build stacks.
Just did it yesterday, positioned my back against the staircase and sat while it stacked up to 30 and without getting knocked back.
One thing about the argent tourny is do it on a pally of you have one, as there is a pally only mount you can get. Also you need to be exalted( if i remember correctly) with all the base factions to get the faction mounts from each vendor.
Also most of these mounts are way less then a 1% drop rate Especially Invincible and Mimerons head are like 0.5% drop rate.
They are certainly 1%, majority of mounts that were once 100% get reduced to a 1% chance as the next expansion rolls along, WoWheads loot data reflects that for the invincible reins for example.
I was overkilling the monsters that should not be killed until you mentioned soft foam sword.
I ended up playing wow all day yesterday oops- lets be honest that was gonna happen anyway but dude I've basically binge watched your whole channel its made me super excited to get back into playing the next few days and these videos are super informative and helpful 10/10 ur amazing thank u for all the work you put into doing these videos!!!

I actually had both the Azure and Blue drakes drop on my first try! Still working on Dragon Soul and Onyxia for drakes and basically everywhere else too...

for the rep, farm pit of saron heroic, ignore the bosses and reset after, takes 4-5 hours including lockouts.
Also for the heal dragon boss Crucible of Flame and that will heal it as well
I got the blue protodrake while watching this video after 50+ attempts, finally
i got 2 of the same mount from the raid below the temple. its a shame i cant sell one as theres not much point in being able to get 2
Something not mentioned here that i found very important is this; when farming ICC you can and i suggest you do, skip the green dragon boss. I cant remember the name but you have to heal him to full to win the fight. As a DH i have no heal, stick to edge of the wall and skip this.
I luckily got both mounts in one time when I accidentally went to Eye of Eternity when I was looking entrance to instance. I didn't realize I was at raid until I got achievement and check my bags for loot. :D Never run much Coldarra instances when I was leveling and never raided in WotLK so didn't even know there was a raid. :p

@Syiler. The trick for the Achievement "Been waiting a long time for this" (10 man / 25 man) with the hunter or warlock pet doesn't work properly anymore. After patch 8.1, the amount of stacks that you need to get this achievement, no longer stack on your pet above 2. This trick only works with a second player, so the dots can fly between the two of you. I found out the hard way :(
In other words, you cannot solo this

One comment though... the achievement with the stacking necrotic plague have been bugged out for me since june. Was wondering if you did it recently and if so have a suggestion on what I/We do wrong?

@@Syiler It don't register that we got the 50 stacks and I have done it with my hunter + a friend and it doesn't register that we got 50 stacks. We had my pet tanking and we ran around until we got 50+ stacks. But i didn't finish the achievement.
asmosmeden sounds like it’s time for a ticket unfortunately! I did a quick search and it doesn’t appear to be a known issue right now (though it could be) it will help if you were recording (or screenshot) but it’s still better to open the ticket just to get the conversation started and you can get more specific info that way. Hope that helps

@@asmosmeden I did the meta achievement a few years ago with the same issue. The information my group got from a ticket was that achievement requires exactly 30 stacks.
the obsidian sanctum is always 100% drop for mounts you can kill all the adds first if you like ;D
I want to thank you very much. I just used this guide to do my first ever run at Icrecrown Citadel. I got Invincible's Rein first time! Beginners luck to be sure!
I've gotten the blue drake drop for me 4 times but not a single Azure drake drop yet

I got azure drake first try and blue drake fourth try that raid is so lucky for me
didnt know the black war mammoth was a (no vedor) was such a low drop rate! got it first run

I have a 2nd account to skip to last boss for mirs head. I have killed him at least 200 times with no drop yet. Only other mount I have worse luck with is headless horseman mount during Halloween.

Which continent is the best to start farming?
Outland is fairly simple
For anyone doing Icecrown citadel and wanting the achievement mount bring someone who can heal or do It on a healing alt. I'm currently stuck at Portal Jockey I think? You have to heal Valithria Dreamwalker and as any class without healing wont work. (Bandages I dont think work on her anymore nor does any items)

3 runs of icc heroic and I got invincible. I think I used up all my luck on that though because I'm not getting any other mounts :(

You`ve missed Reings of the Red Proto-Drake for Glory of the Hero
Wasn't missed, as mentioned in the first few seconds, the mounts that make sense for this series. That one didn't make sense as all the dungeons for the achievements aren't all located within Northrend.

It does depend on which part of the video you are talking about as I swap between classes here and there. The main one im using though is a Blood Elf Windwalker Monk. That's seen in the video with the jade green health bar and character name of Syider

marks of honor are a pain to get if you're not a pvper. 5k honor for some at vendor in orbios. there are wqs in sl that give them now but pain if there's alot people around and usually it's free for all areas. so you might have your own faction killing you.

Syler is from England but has lived all over the world and I have found his accent has evolved a lot over the years with other influences besides his native Chav. Still one of the best voices on TH-cam.
He's from Northern Spain.

As mentioned at the start of the video, things that make sense for the series. Death Charger, Mechanohog etc just didn't feel like they fit the same shoe that the rest of the mounts here did.

As mentioned at the start of the video, the mounts that make sense for the video, glory is one that didnt make sense due to one of the required dungeons being in Kalimdor

So varok turns good befor he goes out like a g? He aided sylvannas in burning the tree befor or after this ex pac? Is the saurfang boss the same guy? Sry if my questions are dumb I'm a 14 player. Can't seem to stop watching wow content.
If you mean the Saurfang we fight in ICC, thats Varoks son, although everything in northrend takes places before the tree. Varok didn't intend for the tree to get burned, the original plan was to capture the tree which heavily handicaps the alliance from doing anything in Kalimdor. However Sylvannas changes the plan and burns it instead, which is part of the reason Varok surrenders to the Alliance during the battle of lorderon which takes place after the tree, as he feels there is no honor in the war and then later aids the Alliance and rebelling Horde in taking back Orgrimmar from Sylvannas
