Happy belated Birthday to both you and your husband. Thank you for your inspiration. I'm in the infant stage of my 4th business venture. I'm 62. So I've been around a time or two. My most recent business has all but been eliminated by the current economy, but I've had a good run for almost 17 years. Onto turning my love of machine embroidery and quilting (which began in the '90's) into a small in home business in my glory years. What I hope to glean from your videos is to learn to be more organized....not my strong point. I've done well flying by the seat of my pants, but I'm getting too old to do it that way anymore. God Bless you. I love your youth, ambition, intelligence and the future you are creating for you and your husband. I lived it, and I will continue to live vicariously through you as I begin my next chapter. God Willing, I have a few good years left ahead!
I am really enjoying your videos! I have been trying to get the courage together to start an embroidery business but I have so many questions. I feel overwhelmed with how to start. Everything seems to take so long, but the way you organize things, use your calendar, set timers, etc. is awesome and inspiring. Keep the videos coming please. Can’t wait to hear more about your first market. Thanks.
This is sooo sweet! 💕 thank you so much! Starting a business is definitely overwhelming at times. Something that really helped me at the beginning was writing a big "to do" list and then choosing 1 thing from that list to focus on that week. I would always have 1 personal goal and 1 business goal for the week. I hope that helps, and if there's something in specific you want to learn about let me know!
❤ you're so sweet! Thank you! I've used a variety of sizes in the past but normally I gravitate to size Large just because that's my size and I like to wear the sweaters after I take the product images to promote it. 🙂
My designs are mostly words so I don’t have much advice on the topic. I do know some people hire artists to create their designs. Something I want to do in the future is learn how to illustrate so I can create some unique designs as well 🙂 but you don’t need to know how to draw to get started
It does not! I bought machine second hand from a brother dealership and I bought my hoop station brand new. The brand is called Hoop Master. It's definitely on the pricier side but I think it's very worth it.
I like how you give yourself time limits! As an ex project manager, that’s a brilliant way to hold yourself accountable ❤
Collecting great information, thank you. You are so disciplined and organized you inspire me to do better. Thank you.

I am beginning my embroidery journey but I do not know how to draw. How do I get my ideas/patterns out to get digitized?

Does the hoop station come with the machine?
