You’re so kind in sharing all of this information and being so open/honest with your trajectory. I appreciate it! The “messed up sweaters” bin made me LOL - I just started learning embroidery and I’ve broken needles, messed up blanks, and even somehow cut skin off my fingers (?!) 😂
Thank you so much! haha and yess, definitely a struggle! I remember all the broken needles and I even gave myself blisters on my fingers from the hoops! 😶
This was such a great video! I started last year last November. I had to laugh (at myself) when you mentioned learning everything. I replaced everything I watched for enjoyment with TH-cam videos. (Still watch them now). I run a pet boutique where I personalize pet clothes. You are so right about having your niche in something that you enjoy! I have met so many wonderful people and I absolutely adore what I do! I recently bought an embroidery machine to add that to my personalization options. This is where I laughed - because of taking in so much in a year, I tried it for 2 weeks and yesterday, I returned it. I was just thinking how I CANNOT learn anything else right now! So that option is out for my shop. 😂 I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much! And right?! It's crazy the amount of information that we need to learn for a small business. That's definitely why I outsource my digitizing. There was no way I was going to start to attempt to learn that skill when I already had so much going on. 😅 Thanks for watching! I'm so happy you're enjoying the videos!
Really inspiring. Thanks for sharing!Do you think your fast growth was mainly because you were selling on tiktok? How did you get orders in Shopify, did you do adds? Thanks!!!
Thank you so much! I think tiktok shop definitely had a big impact in growing so fast! My Shopify orders came from my Instagram audience as well as my tiktok audience since I didn't offer all of my colors on tiktok when I first started out. I haven't dabbled into any ads, it has all come from organic content on tiktok and instagram!
I have considered POD but not for embroidery projects! More so for DTF print designs. Still considering though. I like to be able to do quality control before it goes out to my customers. And yes! I did pack and ship all 300 sweaters by myself 🙂
Hi there! I would say an embroidery machine, shipping supplies, and find a good blanks warehouse close to you! I use Alphabroder for my blanks and I also have an amazon storefront link in the description above with all the materials I use to embroider 🤗 Hope this helps!
Hi there! Do you mean to digitize my designs? If so, I opted to not digitize my own designs. I knew there was a lot that I needed to learn as a first time clothing small business so I opted to outsource that task! I went to fiverr and found a great digitizer that has digitized all of my designs! 🙂
@@ThreadedComforts Thank you for this! I keep trying to figure out where to go for finding a digitizer since it seems like something that might be too much to handle for me right now. If you have any advice on finding one you can trust I'd love that too! :)

Hi! Really enjoy your vids! What type of camera do you use to record your videos?Brand name and model. Would you be able to share?
Good information!
Congratulations on your success! Have you thought of using POD like printing or prihtful? Did you have to ship those 300 sweaters by yourself?

so you only sell sweaters?
I started with only sweaters! By the time I hit this milestone I was only selling sweaters. Since then I've sold Tshirts, tote bags, and bookmarks!
