So I want other ladies not to waste their time on men who have no good intentions. It means they are not strong enough emotionally. Met and dismissed at least 4 of them despite my tending towards dating younger (a whole other issue lol). Guys always told me they want a woman to approach them or plan the date etc but whenever I did, it NEVER got results. I ended up chasing them and feeling desperate even when they weren't all that. Welcome to my life. My kids are 9 years apart both dad's played me now they both married and gone on with their lives. I'm a full time production worker paying all the bills and taking care of my kids alone. My kids have no role model. My dad plays their father figure. They both stopped paying child support and and they never check on their kids. My 2 year old his dad tries to get all his women to beef with me. I have no relationship with neither guys. I'm just now going back to school to get a certificate for laser tech. After that I plan to get a certificate in graphic designer. I don't date anymore. I'm working on bettering myself and my relationship with God.

A woman is the mother to human children who nurtures, teaches, and raises her young. A man does the same as a woman except the provide and have purpose. I literally experienced this for a min now but finally let it go. No matter how many times I mentioned he doesn’t call or take me out he would always be like you can call me and it was so weird. He wanted me to drive, take him out and basically pursue him and I just would not do it. It was always a back and forth about it because of the bad communication and the lack of phone calls if any. Yes he was probably talking to girls but still it was a red flag that he would just not pursue unless he wanted some “cookies” smh. I’m glad I stopped doing that with him. Said the most hurtful things and expected me to be a certain way, but he refused to change. I am still healing over it. I live in regret and pain. You would think that because those young men were raised by single mothers, they would know better for seeing what their mothers went through because of weak men. What i mean when i say this is... so many of us women (I'm speaking specifically to black women) have been put in positions where we have had to play both roles because the king is absent. Whether that be because we were raised by a single parent, we are a single parent or we just have not had a strong male presence in our lives. So because we have become accustomed to playing both roles, we don't know how to step out of that masculine role once we find a good man. We don't want to bend to his leadership. His leadership is not one that orders us around and leaves us barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen. I agree that there are a lot of men who don’t know their purpose and have no goals. I feel this gives them time to just play around. Many of them have some type of distorted appeal bc they look like they have it together but their lost. It’s different for each of them. Still, I agree on the flip side, many women grew up in single parent households and lacked a father or maybe even homes where the father did not fill his role as a dad to teach his daughter her value and what a real man looks like. A lot disfunction when you put the two together. It’s not a lost cause it just means each side needs some inner work and healing.

You've touched on a big problem, thank you Kev. I think our time has created rampant narcissism in people, blurring the gender lines. Like you said because of broken households and no father figures, but also society promoting these "values" of entitlement, consumption, and no accountability. Lot of men now reject the responsibility that should naturally come with their masculine leadership and the respect that it would generate. They want only the benefits without seeing what women's needs are. They do not see why they should act chivalrous, court and respect the woman they want to get close to. They confuse service with servitude. Like people with a fragile ego do. And sadly, they all watch the very toxic advice of so called "alpha" men, who are in fact psychopathic. Some channels should not even be allowed to broadcast such hateful ideology about women.
A lot of that is also popularized in the porno raising them and the music industry too. A lot of these men are raised by men who abuse women, and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the more fundamentalist the religious household, the more women are seen as objects of subservience. This is a cultural problem on a mass scale, but not something to be so over simplified as being raised in a 2 parent household.

Great video! Even in 2020, as a feminine independent woman, I still believe in many gender roles. Buy knowing how to carry yourself and be feminine in a way that is balanced is important. Chasing a man is always UNNATURAL. Not ALL men are bad, but things will continue to be the way they are unless women really wake up, stop being so desperate, and get back to loving themselves, take time to grow alone, be honest about the men they feed with their souls, and having real standards (not just wanting sex, money, clothes and free dinners).
