This looks cool but as someone who is a beginner I don't think it personally would help me. It would be fun experiencing it while it is on the kalimba but once you remove it I wouldn't be able to remember most of the song without it and I feel like others like me could maybe over rely on it especially if that's how they first started
You have a great point, I myself love to be immersed in the sound when I'm playing the Kalimba and as fun as this looks, this would distract me a lot. But, for a lot of people who are scared with trying out the kalimba, this may do wonders for them to ease them into playing, till they won't need it anymore.

I think I’d like it for the tuning assist but like you doubt the playing assist would help me remember anything.
