just curious it seems you haven't run into any engine codes after installing the servo buddy. just did mine and i got code P1009. was wondering if you may have run into that later and found a way to solve that!
@reddoggarage I'm just wondering whether the claim you made during the video was correct, that the valve was closed as a result of cable being disconnected, as I would expect that the spring keeps the valve open by default. I have the same issue with my 2015 reg 899 and looking to remove disable the servo as i get a engine light.
Great video! Not sure if I need this for my 899, but you sure did make it look like a pretty accessible job. Can you please explain what this really does? And a link for the servo baddy, if you be so kind. Thanks and Cheers, from Portugal
Great video, Did I understand correctly that if I just plug in the buddy, the flap also stays open? Assuming the engine isn't broken like yours? or do I also have to disconnect the cables from the servo motor in any case?
Theoretically if you just disconnected the cable the butterfly would remain open & you wouldn’t need the servo buddy

Great video,

so basically all your work was for nothing if the cable was not connected and the flap was open by the spring?
If you said it's open by default and then the motor closes it. Then the whole time yours was already open.
if the cable is disconnected then the flap should be fully opened
would you have the link of this product to pass??
