My stepmother gets chronic UTI’s. Her doctor prescribes her antibiotics on a very regular basis. Her mental health is gone and she gets these infected sores on her body. But no matter what I say, she believes that the doctors know what they are doing. Is this what happens in our medical system? We just keep taking their pills and keep getting sicker. When I got Tardive Dyskinesia from an antipsychotic, their next move was to put me on medication to deal with that problem. Does it ever end?
What kind of timescale, if you don't mind me asking? I'm researching because I'm considering volunteering for a medical trial that would involve taking antibiotics for about 6 months.
OMG antibiotics are required long term for people with chronic embedded UTI due to the incompetence and negligence of doctors to treat the original infection
Just took some antibiotics to help get rid of my boil under my right armpit. I’d say it works, but it’s a good thing my dad (Dr) prescribed them to me for only a week. I guess a short span of time of 1-2 weeks is alright, but still, ask a reliable doctor if it is really safe.
GEE THEY GIVE 2 DIFFERENT ANTIBIOTICS FOR AT LEAST A YR FOR TUBERCULOSIS -ACNE TETRACYCLINES FOR YRS. BUT FOR LYME DISEASE 20 DAYS AND THAT IS IT. THIS MD HAS BEEN A PAID ADVISOR FOR INSURANCE COS TO DIAGNOSE IF A PERSON TRULY HAS LYME DISEASE.
Thanks for the great life saving information. We need more information on what we can do with infections if we stop taking antibiotics

I think I have that... to be honest...
A very healthy diet must fix it sadly
