Obito's intangiblity limit is only 5mint. Totsuka blade theoretically should works on Obito because it's a yin attack and we have seen non physical attacks such as mind switch and shadow possession working against obito. Totsuka blade is a non physical weapon. Obito kamui works unconsciously. He doesn't teleport whichever body part he wants anything that physically overlaps with his body parts then that part gets teleported to kamui.
I always get shocked how people underestimate how strong obito is , slaughtered elite hidden mist anbu like nothing (12 years old maybe) , attack the hidden leaf ,summon nine tails + controlling him while fighting against minato (14years ) being the leader of the akatsuki for years ordering someone like nagato , declaring war against the world at that time he didn't have kabuto's support so he wasn't even fazed by the 5 nation alliance How the hell does people still think kakashi is stronger than obito or itachi or nagato The power scale in naruto is very clear
Yeah none of that scales him above Itachi though, Itachi killed all the Uchiha Jonin and dispatched Anbu members like nothing as a 12 year old, and he also one shot Orochimaru’s with his base sharingan. In fact, I’d argue massacre Itachi is probably stronger than kid Obito when he killed the mist Anbu.

Something that I feel like not enough people bring up that Obito constantly underestimates pretty much every opponent he's up against and let;s down his guard prematurely. It's been the main reason why most people who have hit and/or escaped him have been able to do it. He underestimated Minato three times in the same fight. The first when Minato teleported away from his Kamui when Obito assumes he caught Minato which allowed Minato enough time to escape). The second time is when Minato hits him with a rasengan when he assumes he won prematurely again). The third time was SECONDS LATER when he ADMITS HE SHOULDN'T HAVE LET DOWN HIS GUARD AND THEN IMMEDIATELY GETS STABBED!!! He does the same thing with Konan and with Guy, Kakashi, and Naruto (granted, Kakashi literally had a counter to Obito's Kamui, but the point still stands). Underestimating his opponents has always been Obito's downfall. Not saying it gives Itachi an auto win against him, but it would allow him more chances to land hits than he normally would be able to.
Yeah Obito is also kind of lazy as a fighter, he relies entirely on Kamui for everything and is a bit of a one trick pony. Once you figure out Kamui, like Konan and Minato did, he doesn’t have much else to fight with.

@@donovan4222 He used it in filler episodes for wood release. We saw him use it to bind/catch Naruto KCM2. We saw his fire style on par with Madara when he used it with him on top of the 10tails. And we saw Óbito use the 10-tails to use his wood release on the allied forces. Plus Óbito had an original plan to become the 10-tails and was persevering chakra the whole war. So context of 1 trick pony. But Obito and Itachi both sandbagged all their fights so it’s hard to judge.
Yellow mask Obito did know what Tsukuyomi was, Madara literally shows him and also talks about Infinate Tsukuyomi in the cave not long after Obito recovered.. Obitos knowledge in genjutsu was so proficient that he was able to perfectly control a ‘full’ 9 tails whilst engaging in combat He also was able to control a kage and perfect jinchuriki in yagura for years not long after the leaf incident In the manga he also took off his mask and looked kisame in the face, he instantly bowed and called him Uchiha Madara I think it’s safe to say that Obito Uchiha/sharingan and Dojutsu knowledge was at its near peak as a 14 year old fighting minato as Madara would have taught him everything he knew up until that point and their would not be many other sources were of information around Obito definitely knew what Tsukuyomi was and I personally think he could use it as he knew how to use the infinite version
Yagura wasn't a perfect jinchuriki, so this feat isn't all that impressive. Its no more impressive than Itachi toying with Naruto in genjutsu with his 30% clone. Itachi and Madara also likely could of controlled the 9 tails, Obito was just the only one alive at the time who could do it. Kisame is weaker than Itachi, as stated by Kisame himself. I don't see how posing as Madara makes him stronger than Itachi. Madara taught Obito a lot, but Obito was never naturally talented, Madara had to settle for him when he would have preferred someone like Sasuke or Itachi. And lastly, Tsukuyomi is an MS ability, so no one can use it except for Itachi. Doesn't matter if you know what it is....the infinite version is something that requires rinne sharingan, which Obito never achieves.

Obito cannot use tsukyomi. The infinite tsukyomi is something different and needs the all tailed beasts to even pull off. Itachi tsukyomi is his own personal mangekyou ability wich at this moment is not shared with any other uchiha. Obito's eyes both have a different version of kamui. One long distance wich kakashi has and one close distance wich obito has. So there is no room for him to know how to use tsukyomi. But he does probably know about. He probably used it while in the akatsuki multiple times. Plus obito and itachi took out the uchiha together where itachi used tsukyomi for sure

V1 raikage was dodging amaterasu effortlessly, who minato scales above and obito I relative to. heck, even hebi Sasuke was able to outrun amaterasu in the battle between brothers.

Edo gives him chakra and stamina/regen, but not speed or strength. Also, edo Itachi most definitely does show speed like that. He casually reacts to attacks from both KCM Naruto and Bee at the same time with just his base sharingan. Both of those characters are relative in speed to the raiakage, Bee matches his speed and that same KCM Naruto dodged raikages fastest attack. Itachi dodges attacks from Bee without even looking. He also is able to fight pretty evenly in taijutsu and react to perfect sage Kabuto, another very fast character. And lastly, the raikage was the fastest ninja alive at the time and he was the only person to dodge amaterasu. Hebi sasuke did not dodge it, Itachi threw the fight and purposely gave him time to avoid it by trailing the flames behind him. Itachi has speed scaling that puts him relative to the raikage, KCM Naruto, Bee and base Minato.

The thing about itachi that is weird is that his susanoo casts instantly WITH the weapons. We saw it done to tank Kirin and all he had to do was react to it. Theoretically, if he can react to an attack fast enough, he can block it or seal if his opponent is close enough. I bring this up because you guys say he can use susanoo to avoid being sucked into kamui. In that case, Obito would be close enough to get hit by the totsuka blade too. Especially being KNOCKED backwards.
I don’t even think Itachi would need or want to use his Susanoo to avoid Kamui, he could just jump away and dodge it lol. Base might guy and KCM Naruto so this multiple times in the war arc against a stronger Obito, idk why everyone thinks Kamui is an unavoidable one shot kill move.
Itachi is very smart and is aware of his strengths and weaknesses. He knows his limits better than anybody. With that being said when he fought sasuke he hyped up orange masked Obito which he believes is Madara and states that he’d need sasuke’s eyes (EMS) to even challenge that version of Obito. He also implanted Sasuke with an Amaterasu in an effort to protect him from “Madara” which failed too.

Kamui is not one shot unavoidable thing. There are several ways it can be countered. Itachi can simply jump off at distance, or can deploy multiple shadow clones to confuse Obito. Also he has shown that he can activate totsuka blade near instantly, like Nagato couldn't even comprehend till he was already pearced. So if Obito tries to use kamui to suck Itachi, Itachi can counter my simply summoning totsuka blade instantly, especially knowing that Obito will be materailised while activating kamui. And like there is nothing Obito can do apart from Kamui, that's all, Itachi takes any non borrowed powered Obito with low to mid diff.
Uhm buddy for one there was a cloud or something in front of Nagato which inhibited his ability to see the totsuka blade before it hit him and Itachi is more of a rival to Nagato anyways who Minato said Naruto would need more power to beat the masked man that 14 year old Obito and sure character like minato hashirama and Madara can catch Obito and his kamui lacking but Itachi is not on their lvl a susanoo doesn't matter if Obito can walk through it he also has extremely potent genjutsu and fire style as well not just kamui he also has wood release and regeneration and took a rasengan from Minato to the back

I think Obito has superior stats, and even though Itachi has more hax, most of them don't work (Tsukuyomi is probably useless unless Itachi uses it in a subtle way like Sasuke did with Danzou in order to create an opening, the Totsuka Blade probably is useless against Kamui and just like Amaterasu would require Itachi to execute a complex strategy to catch him, such as tricking Obito into absorbing a shadow clone and both attacking at the same time, then the clone on the Kamui dimnension hitting Obito with Amaterasu or the Totsuka Blade. If that happens, Obito is forced to use Izanagi and then he loses the ability to use Kamui, kinda giving Itachi the win. Izanami might or might not work depending on whether Obito realizes Itachi is setting up the conditions). He would be immune to the Kamui absorbtion though through Susano'o spamming. Regarding a cooldown, we would need to find evidence for and/or against it being a thing. However, Obito has superior physical stats than Itachi, more so here because of the Edo Tensei nerf. Obito mid-high diff (or Itachi high diff). I can't be more precise with this match-up and the one above because we don't know how much the Edo Tensei is nerfing Itachi nor how strong and fast Itachi was in his peak, as well as how much stamina and chakra he had, before the illness started to take effect. If the Edo Tensei nerf isn't negligible and we highball Itachi to be relative to KCM2 Naruto/Rinnegan Obito in strength and speed, then it may come to a 50/50. *Orange Mask Obito x Healthy Itachi = Itachi wins no diff *Orange Mask Obito x Sick Itachi = Obito has the physical advantage (he's probably faster than the Itachi who was unable to dodge that shuriken arm to his thigh. He wasn't going all out on Sasuke as we was planning to die, true, but did he let himself be hit there? I don't think so. He's also nearly blind) and most of Itachi's MS abilities, which he can't use more than a couple of times, still aren't effective against Kamui without a proper strategy. Obito wins mid-high diff. High diff if we highball Itachi saying he could have performed better against Sasuke had he had killing intent and if we consider Itachi is at least a tier of intelligence above Obito. Maybe he can hatch a plan to win. Even severely nerfed by his illness and minutes before death, he tanked Kirin, stomped Orochimaru's strongest form, leaving Sasuke defenseless, and still programmed an Amaterasu that would've killed Obito if wasn't for Izanagi. Maybe in order to save Sasuke from Obito's influence, Itachi can manage a draw, killing Obito but dying in the process, thanks to a mental amp. Regarding the Kamui shadow clone counter, Obito can survive Amaterasu and maybe even the Totsuka Blade with Izanagi sacrificing a spare Sharingan. He retains his ability to use Kamui, but loses some chakra and the power of the other eye, which isn't very relevant for a non-MS. If Itachi's clone remains in the Kamui dimension, Obito can't use Kamui to phase or flee because he'll just be hit again, so he loses the fight regardless. If Itachi is able to pull this strat off while being terminally ill, he wins as long as he has gas to push forward and kill Obito twice. *Yellow Mask Obito x Healthy Itachi = Itachi wins low diff if he has to decipher Kamui mid-fight like Minato did, otherwise, or once he understands how it works and how to counter it, he wins negative diff. Kurama wouldn't make much of a difference in the outcome, I agree. I think it's implied Itachi wasn't able to control it, so it's either Amaterasu, Totsuka Blade or whether or not his visual prowess is enough to cancel Obito's Genjutsu over Kurama. *Yellow Mask Obito x Sick Itachi = Either a 50/50 or Itachi wins mid-diff, depending on whether or not we assume this version of Obito is somewhat superior to Orange Mask (the "didn't fully recover from the fight with Minato" argument). However, Itachi has a tactical and intellectual advantage due to Obito's inexperience. Besides the simultaneous shadow clone attack Kamui counter strategy (that's a Minatoesque name hahah), Obito's inexperience makes him more susceptible to Izanami (regarding the multi-step set up). If we also allow Koto, Itachi wins low-diff. Can Tsukuyomi be useful? Obito's visual prowess and MS should be enough to allow him to break free from it. Could Itachi use it to create an opening given that, as it happens in an instant, Obito would also break free the instant he was caught? Maybe what he sees/feels in the Genjutsu before he breaks free will make him lower his guard, so there's that. If we allow Kotoamatsukami, I can see it working if Obito doesn't know the crow has Shisui's eye (which he might not since it's always been one of Itachi's secret weapons, one he was saving for Sasuke). I don't remember if this version of Koto requires eye contact. If it does and Obito knows about it, he'll be much harder to catch. I can see Koto winning the fight in different ways against all versions of Obito besides Juubito. It probably wouldn't work on him cause he tuu stronk. But who am I to say that? It could be Kotoamatsukami gg easy, make Obito regret his life decisions. Maybe a Koto allowing the set up for Izanami, that combo defeating Juubito. Otherwise Itachi has no chance.
Im a bit late to this, but the argument that Obito is an idiot for not knowing about Flying Raijin lvl 2 is fallacious. Its highly likely that this particular flying raijin technique was an advanced version he wasn't familiar with. He likely only saw the tech used when the kunai were stationary (and probably assisted in placing some of them during missions) and understood the massive chakra cost associated with their use in the first place. I doubt Obito would've been on a mission where lvl 2 needed to be used, or it was developed after Obito's "death".

In the Itachi Novel it was said that they recognized each other as opponents, Pharagraphs from Itachi’s Novel - (His face devoid of all expression, - Itachi offered the answer he had prepared: "If you refuse this request, then you and I are enemies." - Obito: "Could you kill me?" - Itachi: "It's not a matter of whether or not I could. I would kill you." He had already taken a step down a road that would not allow him to turn back. He did not hesitate. Silence enveloped them. There was no bloodlust in either of their auras.They were exchanging dangerous words, but they both acknowledge each other as opponents.) and in the canon NUNS Generations cutscene, it was stated that no opponent was worthy of Itachi. Obito's Words: ( "No opponent was worthy of him... Not Even Sasuke...") Given the specificness of the word “opponent,” this likely means Obito was included in this statement. Plus, Obito said no one was in his way now to attack Konoha after Itachi died. Obito's fighting style is not mainly based on Genjutsu, he is not a specialist like Itachi, Obito used Genjutsu like any member of the Uchiha clan but not in a face to face fight, but Itachi in every fight he always used the unpredictable Genjutsu fighting style approach and took every opponent by surprise. Itachi's clones are legendary and unpredictable, it's because his clones can explode, no one in the series has used clones like Itachi to explode, what I want to point out is that , even if you could see them with the Sharingan, you'd have no way of knowing for sure which clones explode or not, and that's where Itachi's intelligence and battle IQ experience factor comes in, as he's one of those characters that it can take you by surprise almost always. I tend to remind you that Obito was indeed afraid to face Itachi in a real encounter: he himself admitted to some degree in the anime and also in the manga, Obito's words: "The Leaf Village is no longer "off limits" Itachi's dead... Nothing stands in my way now." "Fortunately I managed to keep some a few secrets even from him... If I hadn't, I'd be dead right now." (episode 139) (Although knowing Itachi is sick, Obito admitted that if Itachi knew the full truth about him. He will be dead.) Or maybe Obito didn’t fear Itachi but he knew that he could die fighting him. When Obito and Itachi were about to face off in Road to Ninja (Movie) Itachi states that clearly: “From your appearance, it seems that physical attacks will not work against you, however I’m not completely out of options...” then activates his Sharingan and Obito says “If you feel like it, you can even burn away flames huh? As always, you're a troublesome fellow." Then he gtfo of there. xD ☯️🤷🏻♂️ If Obito hadn't said those words in the anime and in the movie I mentioned, then I wouldn't have been debating so much the confrontation between the 2. Obito admitted in the anime that if he hadn't kept certain informations hidden from Itachi, Itachi could've killed him if he knew certain things about him. So even If he knew that Itachi is sick, he didn't want to go against him in a actual encounter. Still... This fight could go either way, but for me Itachi has slightly better chances because of his calmness, intelligence and battle IQ experience. As I said before, their encounter could go either way, Jinchuriki are supposed to be immune to genjutsu but it hasn't been proven, but when Bee was fighting Edo Nagato and Itachi with Naruto, Itachi himself and even Naruto himself they warned Killer Bee and told him to watch out for Tsukuyomi explicitly. Sasuke only use a generic genjutsu against Bee, Itachi is the only person that can use Tsukuyomi. Killer Bee was trapped in a generic genjutsu under the Mangeyou Sharingan. Danzo: even says to Sasuke during their fight that Sasuke's genjutsu “is a far cry” from Itachi's Tsukuyomi. Due to this, we were never shown if a Jinchuriki could escape an “inescapable” genjutsu like Tsukuyomi. The only known ways to escape Tsukuyomi is to cut off your eyesight or use another extremely strong Sharingan like the Mangeyou, even so the escape rate it's very low when Tsukuyomi it's used at his fullest. I think a Jinchuriki can't escape the Tsukuyomi. A Jinchuriki can break out most types of genjutsu because of their respective tailed beast ability to restart their chakra flow of their host. This restart is not instantaneous ,it takes a couple of minutes. Tsukuyomi can most probably be broken by a Perfect Jinchuriki, but there is no point as Itachi can put the victim through a 3 day torture within a second or a couple of seconds. Breaking the chakra flow to the user takes time, as Bee took some time to recover from sasuke's generic Mangekyou Sharingan genjutsu and again took some time to recover from Itachi's basic genjutsu. (during the encounter of Edo Itachi and Nagato vs Naruto and Bee) - Watch Itachi and Nagato Vs Bee and Naruto episodes again, Naruto himself warns Killer Bee in both manga and anime: KCM Naruto's words: " He's using the Mangekyo Sharingan. Uncle Bee, be careful! If you get hit by Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu it's over!" Tsukuyomi will last only for a second and the jinchuriki would have been exposed to 72 hours - 3 full days of torture and mental exhaustion. Even though a tailed beast can heal physical wounds he cannot heal mental trauma. Naruto or Bee would drop after a second before the tailed beast has time to break the chakra flow. The problem most people miss is that Tsukuyomi has no actual duration it ends the moment it begins. There is literally no way to cancel it or break free of it. Itachi could make that single instant appear to last for 80 years, but it doesn’t change the fact no significant amount of time actually passed. So by the time someone is aware of the fact they are trapped in Tsukuyomi it’s already done. (Also, the following is from the manga or light novel….“Itachi approached Izumi and placed her in an extremely powerful Tsukuyomi where she lived the entirety of her life in 0.000000001 billionths of a second. In her dream, she became a chūnin, retired from shinobi life to become Itachi's wife and raise their children, and lived to become eighty years old before dying of old age alongside Itachi. Because her mind was departed from reality in such a manner, Izumi collapsed into Itachi’s arms dying. Izumi thanked Itachi for giving her the life she wanted with him, even if it was a dream, and Itachi thanked her for loving him as she passed away.”) Kamui isn't an instant win against someone like Itachi because he isn't just any ordinary Shinobi. (Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story) his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Itachi is pretty good/exceptional at hand to hand combat, is great with shuriken, is extremely fast, is great with regular fire techniques, is slippery and unpredictable, and has the extremely dangerous and fast Genjutsu style of fighting approach that can caught you off guard almost at any time, even If the opposite opponent is an Uchiha. Obito with Rinnegan and 6 Jinchuriki got stalemated by Kakashi, Guy, Bee and Naruto, a weaker version of Obito stands no chance against Kabuto + Akatsuki summons. Minato being the only one to successfully "dodge" it and Konan had substantial prep time for the fight. And if a teenage Obito got two clean attempts on Minato, you can be sure he's getting at least that many against Itachi. For the record, I'm talking about the "suck" part of Kamui. Rinnegan Obito for the most part was going for the capture, not kill. It wasn't until KCM2 Naruto that he got serious. Edo Itachi scales to around/above KCM1 Naruto. Rinnegan Obito was taking on that Naruto, Bee, Guy and Kakashi without breaking a sweat. He even took a hit from KCM1 Naruto Rasengan with no significant damage. "Itachi was dead" this might work if Itachi didn't use one of his strongest attacks to try and kill Obito. This means Itachi's second strongest attack couldn't even kill an off guard Obito. And Obito wanted Itachi to work for him and since he knew Itachi was gonna die soon anyway, might as well accept his terms and get the most work out of him possible. This makes more sense than someone using "Obito was scared". It was never about honoring the deal either, Obito was using Itachi for work and to make Sasuke stronger since Obito knew Itachi couldn't be manipulated. Think of it like this, if one of your best workers is gonna quit soon, wouldn't you want them to train someone to take their place before they do? Keep in mind, YM Obito was pressuring Hokage Minato (several statements back this up). Now give that Obito over a decade more training and experience and I don't see any way Itachi scales even close to him. Rinnegan Obito is dominating any form of Itachi, including the Jinchuriki is overkill. OM Obito has a little trouble but still wins. YM Obito without Kurama is the only fight I might give Itachi but it's pretty close.

It was a 4v1 and the only reason they managed to do anything against him was because of Kakashi. Without Kakashi, they don't touch him. For the totsuka blade, yata mirror, and the susanoo's interactions with kamui, it's arguable that kamui wouldn't pass throught itachi's as his weapons are spiritual and not physical, which would probably mean that obito couldn't pass through, honestly i think that OM obito vs healthy itachi could go either way

The 9 tails is the most intelligent of the bijuu and although it was being controlled by Obito I’m sure it could shed Amaterasu by just generating a chakra cloak and shedding the cloak similar to how Naruto defended against Amaterasu in the final fight or shippuden The 8 tails example is valid but also a tricky one because we know that bee was simply trying to escape and wanted it to seem as though he had been captured. this is headcanon, the 8 tails wasn’t trying to escape, he was winning the fight until Sasuke used Amaterasu, after that is when he tried to escape. Tailed beasts have never even been shown to use chakra cloaks, jinchuriki do….and they only stop Amaterasu if you use the cloak to block it.

1) It's quite bold to assume that Edo versions have unlimited chakra, so they can just spam their jutsus! The fact is their chakra can get to 0, but it replenishes faster than chakra of mere mortals. Same with their bodied: they get damage- they restore 2) Edo Itachi's Susano form didn't have Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror 3) Considering the fact that Obito isn't dumb, is aware of Itachi's power, Obito joins the battle with all seriousness and goes for the instant kill, which he's capable of with his Kamui
About the first point with the Nine Tails being able to deal with the Amaterasu, I dont think it would have trouble with it at all. We saw in the final Sasuke vs Naruto fight that Naruto tanked it with Kuramas chakra, so I dont see why Kurama couldnt tank it
True but first: Nine Tails would be in his physical form I guess it’s possible but If the Eight Tails was potentially susceptible to being hit by Amaterasu then I can’t see a reason why Kurama wouldn’t be the same especially since he won’t have a Jinchuriki to use Substitution. 2. These would Kurama under Obitos control. So there’s no telling if he’d be able to think of a way to get the flames off with Kuramas chakra. Maybe you could imply Obito could do that but we don’t know
The 9 tails vs Amaterasu is kind of weird bc he has a yelling attack that sends shock waves similar to almighty push. But too be fair Itachi wouldn’t be able to get Obito away from the 9 tails like Minato did. Minato knew that both of them together would be too problematic and if Itachi focuses on the 9 tails Obito would definitely take advantage
Itachi basically has 4 main tools; Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Izanami and Susanoo. Tsukuyomi is a strong genjustu, but that’s all it is. It’s easy to avoid. Amaterasu is also easy to avoid to people who can sense chakra or anticipate the attack, Ay was dodging the attack left and right and he’s slower than Naruto and Minato. Susanoo is his best bet and he doesn’t have the stamina or chakra levels to maintain it for long outside of being a reanimated corpse. Izamani would definitely work on Obito, but it’s a jutsu that take a long time to get going. Itachi is a great character, but he’s not beating Obito.
Tsu is not easy to avoid if you read itachi novels you would know how strong it truly is, it’s one of the few genjutsu that actually kills you and itachi said himself it’s a genjutsu you can’t break out of unless you’re blood related to him specifically (sasuke, fugaku) obito wouldn’t be able to avoid that like you think

Itachi does not have Minato reaction speed, he would get blizt. And if none of them have no info on each other, Itachi needs time to figure out Kamui, while Obito has speed advantage and "while a lot of people tend to forget" can use wood style. If Obito wanted to blizt Itachi with a stick, he could. Orange mask vs alive Itachi. They both have info on each, maybe Obito not knowing anything about Itachi's Susanno weapons. Edo Itachi vs Rinnegan Obito: This is a good fight, but it won't last too long. Obito wasn't even scared of edo Itachi with extra help. Itachi is similar to KCM1 Naruto, while rinnegan Obito blizted KCM2 Naruto. Itachi will sadly get bullied. Amaterasu was already never an option due to Kamui, but Tsukiyomi isn't either. I think alive itachi beats om obito. He has more win conditions and higher iq, while obito only has kamui. Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Izanami, exploding clones, are all potential win conditions and it’s possible the yata mirror would neg kamui.
Being that alive itachi doesnt have the same speed scaling as edo itachi hes not catching him in tsukuyomi unless literally everything goes in his favor. The yata mirror is not omnidirectional Obito can literally rise from under the ground, or just goof around and plant some bombs there because again its alive itachi and he’s genuinely afraid of shit like kunai and shuriken hitting him 😭 most of his win conditions become literally impossible for him when facing a character with better speed feats, better stamina, better durability, better genjutsu aside from the limited edition mangekyo shenanigans and the ability to become intangible and tear through space 😭

What many have forgotten is the very unpredictable factor of Itachi's fighting style, the way Itachi could beat Obito in my opinion is as follows: The Explosive Clone Tactic of Itachi, (he use this in Part 1 against Kakashi and Kurenai) which will be totally in character for him and obviously it won't kill Obito but definitely will damage him. I'll give you an exemple that was happening also in the anime itself: Remember that in the confrontation between Obito and Konan, Obito noticed Konan's explosive papers and said that he could react to them in time, cancel sucking and use Kamui to face through the explosion, but it didn't work and he was got caught in the explosion and he still was damaged after that. In Itachi's case he wouldn't notice that it's a clone until it's too late, and he already would get hit by the explosion of Itachi's Clone. Still I don't think that Obito will die only from that, I mean that will be very embarrassing lmao... xD but getting damaged? 100%. And we know Itachi that in character, If the fight is serious, he doesn't messing around. So after the explosion, he will use the moment/momentum while Obito is damaged, is surprised, is stunned, Itachi will immediately rush him and stab him, set him on fire or etc... Also another way Itachi could win is with his Tsukuyomi in my opinion. Yes yes, hear me out, Itachi make a clone, uses Tsukuyomi on Obito and controls the time in the way that he trapped Kakashi during the Part 1 in their encounter, (Tsukuyomi 1 second, but in Kakashi's mind perception that second lasted 72 hours, that will mean 3 full days) So the moment Itachi hits Obito with the Tsukuyomi, and Obito just thinks of to break the Tsukuyomi, Itachi's clone already killed Obito, because they will just stand there, and Itachi has full control on time in the Tsukuyomi Nightmare Realm. So yes, it's pretty much possible. I know that is unfair and disgusting for all of you Obito's bias fans. xD But it'a a power and a factor of the Tsukuyomi that people underestimate and keep forgeting about. xD

It is a very broken ability but characters in the verse found out how it worked and would be capable to fight around it. to obito has 2 options if he kamuis itachis clone and thats to either expel the clone or not phase is a bit wild, he could just go into his own dimension and hit the clone.. that would make more sense then putting another fighter back on the field or losing access to your ability that also might be some awkward head canon because correct me if im wrong - we havent seen a clone existing in a different dimension from its user except for Madaras limbo clones. im not sure if Naruto left a clone behind in the real world when he fought Kaguya but i wouldnt think he did due to everyone being trapped already anyway but i may be forgetting stuff. Also i guess id counter this argument by saying that Itachi has terrible chakra levels and splitting it in half to share with a shadow clone is a TERRIBLE idea. its not like you regain the clones chakra when it dies. that chakra has already been spent right? which is why its forbidden in the first place is because you could kill yourself or do what i just said and put yourself in a very bad situation. Itachi could use Amaterasu, point blank, whenever Obito tries to pull him into Kamui. Knowing this, Obito would have trouble getting close. Itachi's explosive clone would also be a problem for Obito to constantly avoid because pulling him into Kamui would be self-sabotage 😂 Itachi just has to clutter the battlefield with threats of instant kills or severe injury to limit Obito's options. At which point Obito would have to stall out Itachi, who hasn't even used MS. This means that Obito is forced to engage to even exhaust Itachi, while risking Amaterasu or getting pushed by Susanoo any time he gets close (Idet Itachi has to activate anything more than the rib cage & arms to make space & make an opening for Amaterasu)
He can't use Amaterasu at point blank cause it would get sucked in as well. A lot of people tend to forget, but Obito has wood style, he can clear the battle in so many ways, as for speed, sick Itachi at most would keep up for awhile but would get overwhelmed
Itachi's best speed feat is keeping up with an initial EMS Sasuke who is weaker than the kcm2 Naruto that was fighting Obito with kakashi and guys help Obito has the better hax Better stats and is just better he also has the rinnegan and can just use those abilities if he wanted to as well
Having not watch the video YET. The closest and only battle itachi could win is against orange mask obito.. right before the uchiha massacre. Imo that was alive itachis strongest form, and obito had no idea about itachi Amaterasu, or exploding clones which for that fight I would think would be enough to win. Even though obito respected him after being threatened, in a fight I still think he would underestimate him due to his age. Itachi wouldn’t know exactly how kamui worked but he understood obito had teleportation and would respect it. Itachie would test it out with a clone, he would understand how fast and strong obito was.. prepared for exactly this battle, in addition to assuming itachi is close to his adult level intelligence, this fight might heavily favor him. Couple that with yada mirror and Toska blade (if those came with the susanoo) and he knew how to use them, high diff alive 13yo itachi fresh mangekyo no ninja cancer (i think) claps. Damn now that im thinking about it… 13yo itachi was a beast, might be mid diff.
The Kyuubi can be controlled by anyone with the Mangekyo Sharingan and hence, if Obito uses it, he will lose it to Itachi. This version of Obito is much weaker than Orange Mask so, things will go down much easier than it did with Orange Mask. Itachi wins
Obito can be hit with genjutsu if he tries to pull itachi in, also the amateratsu, also clone explosion. I personally think he'd use genjutsu on obito or an explosive clone. Itachi knows how to fight speedsters like shisui and he is also smarter than konan.

I believe Itachi to be far smarter than Obito. So I could see Itachi having a plan to hit Obito with the blade of totsuka in every version. That being said I do think Obito is far superior a fighter. If Obito is much faster than Itachi is it would be hard for him to hit. Also kamui being able to counter being hit is a massive problem. Before the fight with Sasuke Itachi probably had a big chance against Obito. But after Obito knew about totsuka blade so would be much more difficult. All other versions of Obito are on another level
I dont think the edo jinjuriki are on itachis lvl like at all kakashi and guy were piecing them up and i dont think the jinjuriki can stop tsykunomi whoch he can now spam.. like if he gets into some tai jutsu clashes he’s probably gonna go for the genjutsu everytime.. so if he can genjutsu a few, totska a few he will be sitting pretty well.. idk how genjutsu works against edo i mean if he mind breaks them idk what happens then
Nope ,Itachi wins. Kamui is broken but obito is way too arrogant, that's why he lost Against Minato when he had the absolute advantage. Btw the scenario where Itachi uses Susanoo or amaterasu isn't coherent. We have seen Itachi fight. There is no way he uses those big jutsus against kamui.
Ninja can move while being sucked into kamui. Minato teleport from it but he still needed to make hand signs in order to do that. What's Obito going to do against Itachi crow and water explosion clones. He also has fire style phoenix flowers Jutsu. His a shirken expert. All these things can make for some insane combos or counters to beat Obito kamui dimension and kamui itself. clones are hard to identify. Sasuke tried to failed. Nejj tried failed. Kakashi tried failed. Kakazu tried failed. Pain tired failed. Most ninja whi thought they had the real ninja always was shocked to find it was nothing but a clone. Clones if all versions is a more of op Jutsu then kamui.
My only complaint is I DO think your under selling Itachi just a little, now I know obito is tough but his orange mask self isn’t quite as tough as you think 1 major thing I think we should address, alive healthy itachi > edo itachi, this is just the objective truth edo tensei nerfs all stats by a large margin so the infinite chakra is made irrelevant by the marginally lower stats and Itachi was shown to be faster than kcm naruto, killer bee, nagato & EMS Sasuke (the same sasuke that was keeping up with kcm 2 naruto & tobirama) to the point he kinda made them all look like they were standing around now if he can do this with nerfed stats his alive version is going to be a fair margin faster and more powerful This leads me to my second point, alive itachi vs orange mask obito is definitely not 7-8/10 in obito’s favour I would argue it’s actually 6-7/10 in Itachi’s favour. Why? Because Itachi pretty much directly counters obito, he is directly faster than obito in base movement speed and obito only keeps up via kamui hax, Itachi has shown more than enough speed to counter kamui and without kamui obito is shown to be roughly eqaul to Kakashi in speed, now while not slow Kakashi is not a speedster so basically if your fast enough to counter kamui (which itachi definitely should be by feats) obito isn’t as much of a threat Lastly you guys are massively and I mean massively under selling Itachi’s intelligence vs obito’s… you keep saying obito isn’t dumb etc but my argument is what evidence is there that he isn’t? There’s just no way Itachi won’t exploit this weakness with his intelligence especially since he never fights an opponent directly he uses feints, clones & genjutsu to find his opponents weaknesses and then hammers them on that weakness and I can absolutely see him tricking obito into absorbing an explosive clone and blowing it up to kill obito (obito isn’t surviving this) or lead him into Tsukyomi which obito may or may not be able to break out of but what it will do is leave him stunned long enough for Itachi to finish off with a shadow clone slitting his throat not to mention Amaterasu is definitely fast enough to catch obito if he is off guard as shown with when he caught obito of guard with the implanted Amaterasu. Nine Tails chakra blocked Amaterasu on Naruto’s arm and just discarded the burning chakra. Even Jigen said that he would rather seal Naruto because killing him and Kurama was too hard at the moment. Amaterasu is not going to take down the Kyuubi. Especially when Obito can just use Kamui on it and send the flames away. Amaterasu isn’t special it’s chakra like the Rasengan and can be teleported to the Kamui dimension. Kurama’s also obviously far stronger than the other Tailed Beasts. Half of him countered 5 Bijuu Bombs at full power from 5 Bijuu. Also one Bijuu Bomb and its wraps for Itachi. His Susanoo will only block it with Yata Mirror but the explosion is much bigger after that Obito would easily sneak up behind Itachi through his Susanoo and Kamui GG. Obito is in a different league than Itachi. A hypothetical healthy Itachi vs DMS Obito is both of them at full power. Obito stomps. Easily. No nerfs. Obito’s Mangekyou Sharingan is the most powerful Mangekyou in Naruto. Its strength together rivals that of the Rinnegan. Ninjutsu goes to Obito. Genjutsu also goes to Obito I don’t care what they say about Itachi’s Genjutsu but when it comes to Genjutsu feats in Obito has it. Taijutsu is probably relatively equal but Obito is canonically as strong in the War Arc as Edo Madara and his Taijutsu was crazy. Also Kakashi is probably one of the best Taijutsu users in the series because he rivaled Might Guy for so long and Obito absolutely beat the breaks off of Kakashi their whole fight until Obito set up the finally and had Kakashi break the seal on his heart the exact way he planned it and the play worked. Also yeah Itachi was a genius in the academy and is an incredibly intelligent ninja but people think because Obito was like Naruto he’s a dunce. Man had the world fooled thinking he was dead then some random idiot replaces Sasori in the Akatsuki and he has the world thinking he’s Madara Uchiha. He learned from Minato and Madara. Sick Itachi can't win against any version of Obito and this is just facts. The chance of sick Itachi winning against Obito is between 78% to 90%. Itachi would put up a extremely good performance, but this isn't about putting up a good performance. This is about securing your win. Itachi is calm, serious, carefull, unpredictable, he is extremely good at analysing his opponent and finding their weaknesses, he is also extremely good at adapting himself to his surrounding, and very fast with finding solutions to problems. And as we all know Itachi is always more then ten steps ahead of his opponent. The problem here is that Itachi won't be fighting any regular opponent, he will be fighting a MONSTER. Obito is fully aware of who Itachi is also, Obito is fully aware of Itachi's weakness and chackra. Obito isn't a regular opponent, Obito isn't Kakashi or Sasuke or any other opponent that Itachi has ever fought before. This is the same Obito that fought Minato at age 14. This is also the same Obito who Itachi went to ask for help, this is the same Obito who helped him wipe out his own "clan! Obito isn't a idiot as many people would want him to be, Obito is fully aware of Itachi's ability, he knows what Itachi is capable of doing. Obito has better understanding of how Itachi operates then what all of the other Shinobi has about him. They have spend more time together in the Akutski then what Itachi has ever done with any other shinobi beside Shishu, Saratobi, Kakashi, Fugako and the fish guy. They have had allot of meetings and discussion togheter. This means that they have listen to each others thoughts. Now why am i saying all of this? I'm saying this because it matters the most! The more knowledge you have about your enemie or opponent is going to give you a slightly advantage over them. 10% to 20% more advantage to help you prepare yourself against them. It will make it much easier for you to adapt yourself to them. Obito has a similar personality to Itachi the only difference between them is that Obito has personality disorder and he can sometimes act crazy and joke around... "BUT THIS IS ACTUALLY THE THING THAT MAKES HIM THE MOST DANGEROUS AMONGST ALL OF THE OTHER SHINOBI INCLUDING ITACHI!". You don't want to challenge a CRAZY shinobi who fought Minato at the age 14. Yes, if only Obito got caught of guard. But i don't think that Obito would allow that to ever happen to him... And even if somehow it wear to happen then Obito can just instantly use Izanami to rewrite reality. Like for example when Sasuke accidentally used Itachi's amatersu against Obito. And then Obito had to immediately use his Izanami to rewrite reality or else it would have been Game over for him right their and then. All of Obitos ability would have been to much for Itachi to deal with at once. Obitos Kamui, Izanami/Izinagi, all renningan abilities. It would be just to much for Itachi to deal with regardless of if he is healthy or not. I really like Itachi he is definitely amongst my favorite if not my most favorite character. Why does itachi need susanoo to defend from kamui? Why cant he just dodge? Or block? Or cut his hand off? I dont think obito has the tai jutsu prowless that itachi has.. only thing obito is on par with to itachi is speed

Substitution doesn't work why being Kamui sucked or else several people including Minato would've used it. Not saying you said that, just pointing that out if you think Itachi can substitute with his crows, that's likely not possible. Itachi agreed to join the Akatsuki because of the danger they imposed. If he could have defeated him he would have especially for the sake of the Leaf. He warned Sasuke of Obito who he in fact believed to be Madara Uchiha a name not easily acted on without the proper strength to defend your claim. Obito defeats Itachi And btw Izanagi counters Izanami. Hashirama enhanced cells and training under both Minato and Madara. Just look at the facts.
I'd give it to SM Naruto in a close fight because I'm pretty sure Frog Fighting Style will allow him to punch the sand defense but injure Gaara still. And I don't think Gaara has an answer for Rasenshuriken Adult Gaara should absolutely win since Adult Gaara survived fighting Otsostuki

When youre fighting someone its not great to be looking someone directly in yhe eye. In conventional boxing looking at the center of the chest is best. By looking at the center mass you can better read an adversaries maneuvers and react accordingly.
I love Itachi but I feel like you guys are really trying to highball his chakra reserves and stamina. Personally for me he isn’t meant for drawn out fights. That’s why I feel like he lucked out in not having to participate in any war until he became an Edo.
If Itachi uses Isanami he wins and he would use it if necessary I think the only Obito that alive itachi do not defeat is 10 tails obito and it would depend of the scneario counting if obito struggles to control the 10 tails

Also itachi has to battle againts time when he uses susano. Minato can teleport back, play some pokemon violet, then teleport back to itachi who is now 20% more blind for using susano. Obito's intangiblity limit is only 5mint. Totsuka blade theoretically should works on Obito because it's a yin attack and we have seen non physical attacks such as mind switch and shadow possession working against obito. Totsuka blade is a non physical weapon. Obito kamui works unconsciously. He doesn't teleport whichever body part he wants anything that physically overlaps with his body parts then that part gets teleported to kamui.

Something that I feel like not enough people bring up that Obito constantly underestimates pretty much every opponent he's up against and let;s down his guard prematurely. It's been the main reason why most people who have hit and/or escaped him have been able to do it. He underestimated Minato three times in the same fight. The first when Minato teleported away from his Kamui when Obito assumes he caught Minato which allowed Minato enough time to escape). The second time is when Minato hits him with a rasengan when he assumes he won prematurely again). The third time was SECONDS LATER when he ADMITS HE SHOULDN'T HAVE LET DOWN HIS GUARD AND THEN IMMEDIATELY GETS STABBED!!!
He does the same thing with Konan and with Guy, Kakashi, and Naruto (granted, Kakashi literally had a counter to Obito's Kamui, but the point still stands). Underestimating his opponents has always been Obito's downfall. Not saying it gives Itachi an auto win against him, but it would allow him more chances to land hits than he normally would be able to.
Yeah Obito is also kind of lazy as a fighter, he relies entirely on Kamui for everything and is a bit of a one trick pony. Once you figure out Kamui, like Konan and Minato did, he doesn’t have much else to fight with.

Yagura wasn't a perfect jinchuriki, so this feat isn't all that impressive. Its no more impressive than Itachi toying with Naruto in genjutsu with his 30% clone. Itachi and Madara also likely could of controlled the 9 tails, Obito was just the only one alive at the time who could do it.
Kisame is weaker than Itachi, as stated by Kisame himself. I don't see how posing as Madara makes him stronger than Itachi. Madara taught Obito a lot, but Obito was never naturally talented, Madara had to settle for him when he would have preferred someone like Sasuke or Itachi. And lastly, Tsukuyomi is an MS ability, so no one can use it except for Itachi. Doesn't matter if you know what it is....the infinite version is something that requires rinne sharingan, which Obito never achieves.

Obito cannot use tsukyomi. The infinite tsukyomi is something different and needs the all tailed beasts to even pull off. V1 raikage was dodging amaterasu effortlessly, who minato scales above and obito I relative to. heck, even hebi Sasuke was able to outrun amaterasu in the battle between brothers.

Edo Itachi should be the same speed, if not slower than alive Itachi due to the edo power nerf. Edo gives him chakra and stamina/regen, but not speed or strength.
Also, edo Itachi most definitely does show speed like that. He casually reacts to attacks from both KCM Naruto and Bee at the same time with just his base sharingan. Both of those characters are relative in speed to the raiakage, Bee matches his speed and that same KCM Naruto dodged raikages fastest attack. Itachi dodges attacks from Bee without even looking. He also is able to fight pretty evenly in taijutsu and react to perfect sage Kabuto, another very fast character.
And lastly, the raikage was the fastest ninja alive at the time and he was the only person to dodge amaterasu. Hebi sasuke did not dodge it, Itachi threw the fight and purposely gave him time to avoid it by trailing the flames behind him. Itachi has speed scaling that puts him relative to the raikage, KCM Naruto, Bee and base Minato.
One thing ive always been interested in is how strong a hypothetical EMS itachi wouldve been if he got it instead of Sasuke.

The thing about itachi that is weird is that his susanoo casts instantly WITH the weapons. We saw it done to tank Kirin and all he had to do was react to it. Theoretically, if he can react to an attack fast enough, he can block it or seal if his opponent is close enough. I bring this up because you guys say he can use susanoo to avoid being sucked into kamui. In that case, Obito would be close enough to get hit by the totsuka blade too. So if Obito tries to use kamui to suck Itachi, Itachi can counter my simply summoning totsuka blade instantly, especially knowing that Obito will be materailised while activating kamui.
And like there is nothing Obito can do apart from Kamui, that's all, Itachi takes any non borrowed powered Obito with low to mid diff.

*Juubito x Healthy/Edo Itachi = Juubito negative diff. Maybe if Itachi can destabilize his mind with Tsukuyomi like you guys suggested or even if he manages to set up Izanami. Just like Kabuto, Obito is the kind of person the jutsu is intended to be used against.
*White Mask Obito w/ Jinchuuriki x Healthy/Edo Itachi = Obito has too much advantage here, I'll elaborate below. Obito mid diff. Although I don't think it's fair to count the Rinnegan abilities Obito never used. When Naruto shove a Rasengan on his face, I'm sure a Shinra Tensei or the Preta Path would've been very useful, yet he didn't use them.
*White Mask Obito alone x Healthy Itachi = Itachi has the disadvantage in a battle of attrition, but even then, Itachi is relative to KCM Naruto, maybe a little above when alive depending on how much the Edo Teisei nerfed him, but Obito is relative to KCM2 Naruto with the help of Guy and Kakashi. I think Obito has superior stats, and even though Itachi has more hax, most of them don't work (Tsukuyomi is probably useless unless Itachi uses it in a subtle way like Sasuke did with Danzou in order to create an opening, the Totsuka Blade probably is useless against Kamui and just like Amaterasu would require Itachi to execute a complex strategy to catch him, such as tricking Obito into absorbing a shadow clone and both attacking at the same time, then the clone on the Kamui dimnension hitting Obito with Amaterasu or the Totsuka Blade. If that happens, Obito is forced to use Izanagi and then he loses the ability to use Kamui, kinda giving Itachi the win. Izanami might or might not work depending on whether Obito realizes Itachi is setting up the conditions). Obito mid-high diff (or Itachi high diff).
*White Mask Obito x Edo Itachi = Now Itachi has the advantage in a long term battle and can spam all his abilities, even though they aren't as effective as they usually are. He would be immune to the Kamui absorbtion though through Susano'o spamming. Regarding a cooldown, we would need to find evidence for and/or against it being a thing. However, Obito has superior physical stats than Itachi, more so here because of the Edo Tensei nerf. Obito mid-high diff (or Itachi high diff).
I can't be more precise with this match-up and the one above because we don't know how much the Edo Tensei is nerfing Itachi nor how strong and fast Itachi was in his peak, as well as how much stamina and chakra he had, before the illness started to take effect. If the Edo Tensei nerf isn't negligible and we highball Itachi to be relative to KCM2 Naruto/Rinnegan Obito in strength and speed, then it may come to a 50/50.
*Orange Mask Obito x Healthy Itachi = Itachi wins no diff
*Orange Mask Obito x Sick Itachi = Obito has the physical advantage (he's probably faster than the Itachi who was unable to dodge that shuriken arm to his thigh. He wasn't going all out on Sasuke as we was planning to die, true, but did he let himself be hit there? I don't think so. He's also nearly blind) and most of Itachi's MS abilities, which he can't use more than a couple of times, still aren't effective against Kamui without a proper strategy. Obito wins mid-high diff. High diff if we highball Itachi saying he could have performed better against Sasuke had he had killing intent and if we consider Itachi is at least a tier of intelligence above Obito. Maybe he can hatch a plan to win. Even severely nerfed by his illness and minutes before death, he tanked Kirin, stomped Orochimaru's strongest form, leaving Sasuke defenseless, and still programmed an Amaterasu that would've killed Obito if wasn't for Izanagi. Maybe in order to save Sasuke from Obito's influence, Itachi can manage a draw, killing Obito but dying in the process, thanks to a mental amp.
Regarding the Kamui shadow clone counter, Obito can survive Amaterasu and maybe even the Totsuka Blade with Izanagi sacrificing a spare Sharingan. He retains his ability to use Kamui, but loses some chakra and the power of the other eye, which isn't very relevant for a non-MS. If Itachi's clone remains in the Kamui dimension, Obito can't use Kamui to phase or flee because he'll just be hit again, so he loses the fight regardless. If Itachi is able to pull this strat off while being terminally ill, he wins as long as he has gas to push forward and kill Obito twice.
*Yellow Mask Obito x Healthy Itachi = Itachi wins low diff if he has to decipher Kamui mid-fight like Minato did, otherwise, or once he understands how it works and how to counter it, he wins negative diff. Kurama wouldn't make much of a difference in the outcome, I agree. I think it's implied Itachi wasn't able to control it, so it's either Amaterasu, Totsuka Blade or whether or not his visual prowess is enough to cancel Obito's Genjutsu over Kurama.
*Yellow Mask Obito x Sick Itachi = Either a 50/50 or Itachi wins mid-diff, depending on whether or not we assume this version of Obito is somewhat superior to Orange Mask (the "didn't fully recover from the fight with Minato" argument). However, Itachi has a tactical and intellectual advantage due to Obito's inexperience. Besides the simultaneous shadow clone attack Kamui counter strategy (that's a Minatoesque name hahah), Obito's inexperience makes him more susceptible to Izanami (regarding the multi-step set up). If we also allow Koto, Itachi wins low-diff.
Can Tsukuyomi be useful? Obito's visual prowess and MS should be enough to allow him to break free from it. Could Itachi use it to create an opening given that, as it happens in an instant, Obito would also break free the instant he was caught? Maybe what he sees/feels in the Genjutsu before he breaks free will make him lower his guard, so there's that.
If we allow Kotoamatsukami, I can see it working if Obito doesn't know the crow has Shisui's eye (which he might not since it's always been one of Itachi's secret weapons, one he was saving for Sasuke). I don't remember if this version of Koto requires eye contact. If it does and Obito knows about it, he'll be much harder to catch. I can see Koto winning the fight in different ways against all versions of Obito besides Juubito. It probably wouldn't work on him cause he tuu stronk. But who am I to say that? It could be Kotoamatsukami gg easy, make Obito regret his life decisions. Maybe a Koto allowing the set up for Izanami, that combo defeating Juubito. Otherwise Itachi has no chance.
Im a bit late to this, but the argument that Obito is an idiot for not knowing about Flying Raijin lvl 2 is fallacious. Its highly likely that this particular flying raijin technique was an advanced version he wasn't familiar with. He likely only saw the tech used when the kunai were stationary (and probably assisted in placing some of them during missions) and understood the massive chakra cost associated with their use in the first place. I doubt Obito would've been on a mission where lvl 2 needed to be used, or it was developed after Obito's "death".
In my opinion this encounter could go either way, both of them have their chances to come out on top against one or the other, although... Plus, Obito said no one was in his way now to attack Konoha after Itachi died. Obito's fighting style is not mainly based on Genjutsu, he is not a specialist like Itachi, Obito used Genjutsu like any member of the Uchiha clan but not in a face to face fight, but Itachi in every fight he always used the unpredictable Genjutsu fighting style approach and took every opponent by surprise. Itachi's clones are legendary and unpredictable, it's because his clones can explode, no one in the series has used clones like Itachi to explode, what I want to point out is that , even if you could see them with the Sharingan, you'd have no way of knowing for sure which clones explode or not, and that's where Itachi's intelligence and battle IQ experience factor comes in, as he's one of those characters that it can take you by surprise almost always. I tend to remind you that Obito was indeed afraid to face Itachi in a real encounter: he himself admitted to some degree in the anime and also in the manga, Obito's words: "The Leaf Village is no longer "off limits" Itachi's dead... When Obito and Itachi were about to face off in Road to Ninja (Movie) Itachi states that clearly: “From your appearance, it seems that physical attacks will not work against you, however I’m not completely out of options...” then activates his Sharingan and Obito says “If you feel like it, you can even burn away flames huh? As always, you're a troublesome fellow." Then he gtfo of there. xD ☯️🤷🏻♂️ If Obito hadn't said those words in the anime and in the movie I mentioned, then I wouldn't have been debating so much the confrontation between the 2. Obito admitted in the anime that if he hadn't kept certain informations hidden from Itachi, Itachi could've killed him if he knew certain things about him. So even If he knew that Itachi is sick, he didn't want to go against him in a actual encounter. Still... This fight could go either way, but for me Itachi has slightly better chances because of his calmness, intelligence and battle IQ experience. As I said before, their encounter could go either way, Jinchuriki are supposed to be immune to genjutsu but it hasn't been proven, but when Bee was fighting Edo Nagato and Itachi with Naruto, Itachi himself and even Naruto himself they warned Killer Bee and told him to watch out for Tsukuyomi explicitly. Sasuke only use a generic genjutsu against Bee, Itachi is the only person that can use Tsukuyomi. Killer Bee was trapped in a generic genjutsu under the Mangeyou Sharingan. Danzo: even says to Sasuke during their fight that Sasuke's genjutsu “is a far cry” from Itachi's Tsukuyomi. Due to this, we were never shown if a Jinchuriki could escape an “inescapable” genjutsu like Tsukuyomi. The only known ways to escape Tsukuyomi is to cut off your eyesight or use another extremely strong Sharingan like the Mangeyou, even so the escape rate it's very low when Tsukuyomi it's used at his fullest. I think a Jinchuriki can't escape the Tsukuyomi. A Jinchuriki can break out most types of genjutsu because of their respective tailed beast ability to restart their chakra flow of their host. This restart is not instantaneous ,it takes a couple of minutes. Tsukuyomi can most probably be broken by a Perfect Jinchuriki, but there is no point as Itachi can put the victim through a 3 day torture within a second or a couple of seconds. Breaking the chakra flow to the user takes time, as Bee took some time to recover from sasuke's generic Mangekyou Sharingan genjutsu and again took some time to recover from Itachi's basic genjutsu. (during the encounter of Edo Itachi and Nagato vs Naruto and Bee) - Watch Itachi and Nagato Vs Bee and Naruto episodes again, Naruto himself warns Killer Bee in both manga and anime: KCM Naruto's words: " He's using the Mangekyo Sharingan. Uncle Bee, be careful! If you get hit by Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu it's over!" Tsukuyomi will last only for a second and the jinchuriki would have been exposed to 72 hours - 3 full days of torture and mental exhaustion. Even though a tailed beast can heal physical wounds he cannot heal mental trauma. Naruto or Bee would drop after a second before the tailed beast has time to break the chakra flow. The problem most people miss is that Tsukuyomi has no actual duration it ends the moment it begins. There is literally no way to cancel it or break free of it. Itachi could make that single instant appear to last for 80 years, but it doesn’t change the fact no significant amount of time actually passed. So by the time someone is aware of the fact they are trapped in Tsukuyomi it’s already done. (Also, the following is from the manga or light novel….“Itachi approached Izumi and placed her in an extremely powerful Tsukuyomi where she lived the entirety of her life in 0.000000001 billionths of a second. In her dream, she became a chūnin, retired from shinobi life to become Itachi's wife and raise their children, and lived to become eighty years old before dying of old age alongside Itachi. Because her mind was departed from reality in such a manner, Izumi collapsed into Itachi’s arms dying. Izumi thanked Itachi for giving her the life she wanted with him, even if it was a dream, and Itachi thanked her for loving him as she passed away.”) Kamui isn't an instant win against someone like Itachi because he isn't just any ordinary Shinobi. (Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story) his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Itachi is pretty good/exceptional at hand to hand combat, is great with shuriken, is extremely fast, is great with regular fire techniques, is slippery and unpredictable, and has the extremely dangerous and fast Genjutsu style of fighting approach that can caught you off guard almost at any time, even If the opposite opponent is an Uchiha. @@donovan4222 only two characters in the series stopped Kamui by themselves, Naruto and Guy are neither of them. Minato being the only one to successfully "dodge" it and Konan had substantial prep time for the fight. And if a teenage Obito got two clean attempts on Minato, you can be sure he's getting at least that many against Itachi. For the record, I'm talking about the "suck" part of Kamui.
Rinnegan Obito for the most part was going for the capture, not kill. It wasn't until KCM2 Naruto that he got serious. Edo Itachi scales to around/above KCM1 Naruto. Rinnegan Obito was taking on that Naruto, Bee, Guy and Kakashi without breaking a sweat. He even took a hit from KCM1 Naruto Rasengan with no significant damage.
"Itachi was dead" this might work if Itachi didn't use one of his strongest attacks to try and kill Obito. This means Itachi's second strongest attack couldn't even kill an off guard Obito.
And Obito wanted Itachi to work for him and since he knew Itachi was gonna die soon anyway, might as well accept his terms and get the most work out of him possible. This makes more sense than someone using "Obito was scared". It was never about honoring the deal either, Obito was using Itachi for work and to make Sasuke stronger since Obito knew Itachi couldn't be manipulated. Think of it like this, if one of your best workers is gonna quit soon, wouldn't you want them to train someone to take their place before they do?
Keep in mind, YM Obito was pressuring Hokage Minato (several statements back this up). Now give that Obito over a decade more training and experience and I don't see any way Itachi scales even close to him.
Rinnegan Obito is dominating any form of Itachi, including the Jinchuriki is overkill. OM Obito has a little trouble but still wins. YM Obito without Kurama is the only fight I might give Itachi but it's pretty close.
@@omega.ak1 Naruto and might guy dodge multiple Kamui attacks from Rinnegan Obito. He tries to touch them and bring them into Kamu, Naruto just jumps jumps out of the way from rock to rock. Might guy in base is able to use nothing more than nunchucks and taijutsu to stop Obito from materializing and sucking him into Kamui. They stalemated Obito because he couldn’t Kamui them. Once you know how the Kamui works, it’s very counterable for characters who are as fast and smart/skilled as Obito is, like Naruto, guy and Itachi all are. Or at least it’s avoidable.

No, Obito didn’t make a deal with Itachi to “get work” out of him. Itachi wasn’t doing any real work lol he was a spy who purposely sabotaged his “mission” to get Naruto from the leaf village. And Obito knew all of this…Itachi still delayed Obito’s plans for years. As soon as Itachi dies, Obito literally says “now the leaf village is no longer off limits” and sends in Pain…this couldn’t be any clearer.
Give YM Obito a decade more of training and he is probably relative to Minato, who Itachi is also relative to. Obito didn’t even get much stronger or gain any new techniques when he’s in the Akatsuki from when he had the yellow mask, he just plays everything smarter, that’s the biggest difference.
You seem to have more faith in Obito’s abilities than Obito himself did, since Obito chose not to get rid of Itachi and instead altered his plans heavily to make a deal with him. I don’t see how you think Obito has a “little trouble” with Itachi when pretty much all he has is Kamui up against one of the smartest characters in the series, who’s only rival in battle IQ (Minato) defeated Obito by figuring out Kamui lol.

Rinnegan Obito isn't winning mid diff, it's maybe 2/10 diff and it's an outright slaughter if Jinchuriki are included. It was a 4v1 and the only reason they managed to do anything against him was because of Kakashi. Without Kakashi, they don't touch him.
Also keep in mind, Obito never used any of the multiple Rinnegan abilities against them. Summons, Shinra Tensei, Chibaku Tensei, etc. It was stated he could, he just chose not to because they were a team and already had countermeasures for the Rinnegan. Tell me one thing Itachi does to Chibaku Tensei because if Nagato managed to use it against him, Obito sure is.
The fact that you're downplaying Obito being off guard is something I don't get. Either you don't want to admit it or you don't understand. Imagine you walk up to someone and blindside them with a strong punch. They get up, dust themselves off and say "nice try". Are you winning that fight?
If Itachi was so much of a threat to Obito, why not just take him out? Tell Nagato to order them to a village, roll up on them with the rest of the Akatsuki. Itachi isn't surviving that even if Kisame decides to help him out.
Even if that would be too chaotic, just use him and Pain and the fight is over. It makes absolutely no sense to keep Itachi in the Akatsuki if he isn't doing any real work. Obito wanted him to work and make Sasuke stronger as a replacement. Keeping him in the Akatsuki was the best way to keep track of him for this plan.

The 9 tails is the most intelligent of the bijuu and although it was being controlled by Obito I’m sure it could shed Amaterasu by just generating a chakra cloak and shedding the cloak similar to how Naruto defended against Amaterasu in the final fight or shippuden
The 8 tails example is valid but also a tricky one because we know that bee was simply trying to escape and wanted it to seem as though he had been captured. We have no idea if the 8 tails couldn’t just shed its skin or create a cloak to shed the Amaterasu either
If bee was taking the fight 100% seriously then I’m sure he would be able to survive Amaterasu whilst in human form or bijuu form
Reason for thinking he could survive in his human form is because we have seen on multiple occasions that jinchurikis skin burns away when a certain level of cloak is manifested. They literally take huge damage and are constantly being burned buy their chakra to the point where they cannot posses skin anymore yet they heal right back after the transformation
Bee or Naruto or the bijuus could just use their chakra to stop the effects of Amaterasu
this is headcanon, the 8 tails wasn’t trying to escape, he was winning the fight until Sasuke used Amaterasu, after that is when he tried to escape.
Tailed beasts have never even been shown to use chakra cloaks, jinchuriki do….and they only stop Amaterasu if you use the cloak to block it.

1) It's quite bold to assume that Edo versions have unlimited chakra, so they can just spam their jutsus!

About the first point with the Nine Tails being able to deal with the Amaterasu, I dont think it would have trouble with it at all. We saw in the final Sasuke vs Naruto fight that Naruto tanked it with Kuramas chakra, so I dont see why Kurama couldnt tank it
True but first: Nine Tails would be in his physical form I guess it’s possible but If the Eight Tails was potentially susceptible to being hit by Amaterasu then I can’t see a reason why Kurama wouldn’t be the same especially since he won’t have a Jinchuriki to use Substitution.

Itachi basically has 4 main tools; Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Izanami and Susanoo.
Tsukuyomi is a strong genjustu, but that’s all it is. It’s easy to avoid.
Amaterasu is also easy to avoid to people who can sense chakra or anticipate the attack, Ay was dodging the attack left and right and he’s slower than Naruto and Minato.
Susanoo is his best bet and he doesn’t have the stamina or chakra levels to maintain it for long outside of being a reanimated corpse.
Izamani would definitely work on Obito, but it’s a jutsu that take a long time to get going.
Itachi is a great character, but he’s not beating Obito.
Tsu is not easy to avoid if you read itachi novels you would know how strong it truly is, it’s one of the few genjutsu that actually kills you and itachi said himself it’s a genjutsu you can’t break out of unless you’re blood related to him specifically (sasuke, fugaku) obito wouldn’t be able to avoid that like you think

Itachi does not have Minato reaction speed, he would get blizt. If Obito wanted to blizt Itachi with a stick, he could.
Orange mask vs alive Itachi. They both have info on each, maybe Obito not knowing anything about Itachi's Susanno weapons. Obito still takes it in speed and could blizt him with a stick if he wanted. And at this point, Obito's genjutsu is on a similar lvl of Kotoamatsukami which Itachi stated was stronger than his Tsukiyomi. If Itachi can't break out of Kotoamatsukami with Tsukiyomi, then I don't see him breaking out of Obito's genjutsu. Let's give Itachi some credit, let's say he can break out, if he can then I doubt it would be immediately. A genjutsu that strong would require resistance, something Naruto had to do to break out of Itachi's genjutsu, which will undoubtedly give Obito enough time to blizt him with anything.
Edo Itachi vs Rinnegan Obito: This is a good fight, but it won't last too long. Obito wasn't even scared of edo Itachi with extra help. Itachi is similar to KCM1 Naruto, while rinnegan Obito blizted KCM2 Naruto. Itachi will sadly get bullied. Amaterasu was already never an option due to Kamui, but Tsukiyomi isn't either. If it was, Itachi would've used it on Nagato. That's not including the rinnegan abilities which he can use if wanted.

I think alive itachi beats om obito. He has more win conditions and higher iq, while obito only has kamui. Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Izanami, exploding clones, are all potential win conditions and it’s possible the yata mirror would neg kamui.
Being that alive itachi doesnt have the same speed scaling as edo itachi hes not catching him in tsukuyomi unless literally everything goes in his favor. What many have forgotten is the very unpredictable factor of Itachi's fighting style, the way Itachi could beat Obito in my opinion is as follows: The Explosive Clone Tactic of Itachi, (he use this in Part 1 against Kakashi and Kurenai) which will be totally in character for him and obviously it won't kill Obito but definitely will damage him. I'll give you an exemple that was happening also in the anime itself: Remember that in the confrontation between Obito and Konan, Obito noticed Konan's explosive papers and said that he could react to them in time, cancel sucking and use Kamui to face through the explosion, but it didn't work and he was got caught in the explosion and he still was damaged after that. In Itachi's case he wouldn't notice that it's a clone until it's too late, and he already would get hit by the explosion of Itachi's Clone. Still I don't think that Obito will die only from that, I mean that will be very embarrassing lmao... xD but getting damaged? 100%. And we know Itachi that in character, If the fight is serious, he doesn't messing around. So after the explosion, he will use the moment/momentum while Obito is damaged, is surprised, is stunned, Itachi will immediately rush him and stab him, set him on fire or etc... Also another way Itachi could win is with his Tsukuyomi in my opinion. Yes yes, hear me out, Itachi make a clone, uses Tsukuyomi on Obito and controls the time in the way that he trapped Kakashi during the Part 1 in their encounter, (Tsukuyomi 1 second, but in Kakashi's mind perception that second lasted 72 hours, that will mean 3 full days) So the moment Itachi hits Obito with the Tsukuyomi, and Obito just thinks of to break the Tsukuyomi, Itachi's clone already killed Obito, because they will just stand there, and Itachi has full control on time in the Tsukuyomi Nightmare Realm. So yes, it's pretty much possible. Having not watch the video YET. The closest and only battle itachi could win is against orange mask obito.. right before the uchiha massacre.
Imo that was alive itachis strongest form, and obito had no idea about itachi Amaterasu, or exploding clones which for that fight I would think would be enough to win.
Even though obito respected him after being threatened, in a fight I still think he would underestimate him due to his age. Itachi wouldn’t know exactly how kamui worked but he understood obito had teleportation and would respect it. Itachie would test it out with a clone, he would understand how fast and strong obito was.. prepared for exactly this battle, in addition to assuming itachi is close to his adult level intelligence, this fight might heavily favor him.

I believe Itachi to be far smarter than Obito. So I could see Itachi having a plan to hit Obito with the blade of totsuka in every version. That being said I do think Obito is far superior a fighter. If Obito is much faster than Itachi is it would be hard for him to hit. Also kamui being able to counter being hit is a massive problem. Before the fight with Sasuke Itachi probably had a big chance against Obito. But after Obito knew about totsuka blade so would be much more difficult. All other versions of Obito are on another level

clones are hard to identify. Sasuke tried to failed. Nejj tried failed. Kakashi tried failed. Kakazu tried failed. Pain tired failed. Most ninja whi thought they had the real ninja always was shocked to find it was nothing but a clone. Clones if all versions is a more of op Jutsu then kamui.

1 major thing I think we should address, alive healthy itachi > edo itachi, this is just the objective truth edo tensei nerfs all stats by a large margin so the infinite chakra is made irrelevant by the marginally lower stats and Itachi was shown to be faster than kcm naruto, killer bee, nagato & EMS Sasuke (the same sasuke that was keeping up with kcm 2 naruto & tobirama) to the point he kinda made them all look like they were standing around now if he can do this with nerfed stats his alive version is going to be a fair margin faster and more powerful
This leads me to my second point, alive itachi vs orange mask obito is definitely not 7-8/10 in obito’s favour I would argue it’s actually 6-7/10 in Itachi’s favour.
Why? Because Itachi pretty much directly counters obito, he is directly faster than obito in base movement speed and obito only keeps up via kamui hax, Itachi has shown more than enough speed to counter kamui and without kamui obito is shown to be roughly eqaul to Kakashi in speed, now while not slow Kakashi is not a speedster so basically if your fast enough to counter kamui (which itachi definitely should be by feats) obito isn’t as much of a threat

This being my final point there is no way this fight goes more than 5 minutes without Itachi figuring out obito’s weaknesses (that’s if he doesn’t know it already considering these versions have knowledge on eachother already. There’s just no way Itachi won’t exploit this weakness with his intelligence especially since he never fights an opponent directly he uses feints, clones & genjutsu to find his opponents weaknesses and then hammers them on that weakness and I can absolutely see him tricking obito into absorbing an explosive clone and blowing it up to kill obito (obito isn’t surviving this) or lead him into Tsukyomi which obito may or may not be able to break out of but what it will do is leave him stunned long enough for Itachi to finish off with a shadow clone slitting his throat not to mention Amaterasu is definitely fast enough to catch obito if he is off guard as shown with when he caught obito of guard with the implanted Amaterasu.
Overall Itachi has more points in his favour with superior combat speed, intelligence, overall hax and his jutsu are almost a perfect counter to obito who only really has kamui hax and slightly more chakra

Nine Tails chakra blocked Amaterasu on Naruto’s arm and just discarded the burning chakra. Even Jigen said that he would rather seal Naruto because killing him and Kurama was too hard at the moment. Amaterasu is not going to take down the Kyuubi. Especially when Obito can just use Kamui on it and send the flames away. Amaterasu isn’t special it’s chakra like the Rasengan and can be teleported to the Kamui dimension. Kurama’s also obviously far stronger than the other Tailed Beasts. Half of him countered 5 Bijuu Bombs at full power from 5 Bijuu. Also one Bijuu Bomb and its wraps for Itachi. His Susanoo will only block it with Yata Mirror but the explosion is much bigger after that Obito would easily sneak up behind Itachi through his Susanoo and Kamui GG. Obito is in a different league than Itachi. A hypothetical healthy Itachi vs DMS Obito is both of them at full power. Obito stomps. Easily. No nerfs. Obito’s Mangekyou Sharingan is the most powerful Mangekyou in Naruto. Its strength together rivals that of the Rinnegan. Ninjutsu goes to Obito. Genjutsu also goes to Obito I don’t care what they say about Itachi’s Genjutsu but when it comes to Genjutsu feats in Obito has it. Taijutsu is probably relatively equal but Obito is canonically as strong in the War Arc as Edo Madara and his Taijutsu was crazy. Also Kakashi is probably one of the best Taijutsu users in the series because he rivaled Might Guy for so long and Obito absolutely beat the breaks off of Kakashi their whole fight until Obito set up the finally and had Kakashi break the seal on his heart the exact way he planned it and the play worked. Also yeah Itachi was a genius in the academy and is an incredibly intelligent ninja but people think because Obito was like Naruto he’s a dunce. Man had the world fooled thinking he was dead then some random idiot replaces Sasori in the Akatsuki and he has the world thinking he’s Madara Uchiha. He learned from Minato and Madara. Also he was never killed by Amaterasu data book confirmed he used Kamui as the source quotes “Tobi’s abilities allow him to transcend through space to the point attacks can’t hit him, he was even left unscathed after being caught off guard by Itachi’s Amaterasu. That’s canon no arguments.

Sick Itachi can't win against any version of Obito and this is just facts. The chance of sick Itachi winning against Obito is between 78% to 90%. Itachi would put up a extremely good performance, but this isn't about putting up a good performance. This is about securing your win.
Itachi is calm, serious, carefull, unpredictable, he is extremely good at analysing his opponent and finding their weaknesses, he is also extremely good at adapting himself to his surrounding, and very fast with finding solutions to problems. And as we all know Itachi is always more then ten steps ahead of his opponent. The problem here is that Itachi won't be fighting any regular opponent, he will be fighting a MONSTER. Obito is fully aware of who Itachi is also, Obito is fully aware of Itachi's weakness and chackra. Obito isn't a regular opponent, Obito isn't Kakashi or Sasuke or any other opponent that Itachi has ever fought before.
This is the same Obito that fought Minato at age 14. This is also the same Obito who Itachi went to ask for help, this is the same Obito who helped him wipe out his own "clan!
Obito isn't a idiot as many people would want him to be, Obito is fully aware of Itachi's ability, he knows what Itachi is capable of doing. Obito has better understanding of how Itachi operates then what all of the other Shinobi has about him. They have spend more time together in the Akutski then what Itachi has ever done with any other shinobi
beside Shishu, Saratobi, Kakashi, Fugako and the fish guy. They have had allot of meetings and discussion togheter. This means that they have listen to each others thoughts.
Now why am i saying all of this? I'm saying this because it matters the most! The more knowledge you have about your enemie or opponent is going to give you a slightly advantage over them. 10% to 20% more advantage to help you prepare yourself against them. It will make it much easier for you to adapt yourself to them.
Obito has a similar personality to Itachi the only difference between them is that Obito has personality disorder and he can sometimes act crazy and joke around... "BUT THIS IS ACTUALLY THE THING THAT MAKES HIM THE MOST DANGEROUS AMONGST ALL OF THE OTHER SHINOBI INCLUDING
ITACHI!". You don't want to challenge a CRAZY shinobi who fought Minato at the age 14. That would be suicide attempt. Acting crazy most of the time can also make you VERY unpredictable! And that's Obito.

Itachi's health condition:
- He is very sick and has bad condition. Would any of this ability work on Obito? Yes, if only Obito got caught of guard. But i don't think that Obito would allow that to ever happen to him... And even if somehow it wear to happen then Obito can just instantly use Izanami to rewrite reality. Like for example when Sasuke accidentally used Itachi's amatersu against Obito. And then Obito had to immediately use his Izanami to rewrite reality or else it would have been Game over for him right their and then.
All of Obitos ability would have been to much for Itachi to deal with at once. Obitos Kamui, Izanami/Izinagi, all renningan abilities. It would be just to much for Itachi to deal with

Why does itachi need susanoo to defend from kamui? Why cant he just dodge? Or block? Or cut his hand off? I dont think obito has the tai jutsu prowless that itachi has.. only thing obito is on par with to itachi is speed
Block with what. Did you know Minato needed FTG aka instant teleportation to escape Kamui, something Itachi doesn't have. And if you don't think Obito has taijutsu skills you need to watch Obito vs Kakashi one of the best fights in Naruto

What are his crows going to do, just look at him???? Crows are not gonna be useful in a fight with Obito. People tend to forget, but Minato himself admitted that Obito's teleportation was better than his which is why he needed to outsmart him with his own. Substitution doesn't work why being Kamui sucked or else several people including Minato would've used it. Not saying you said that, just pointing that out if you think Itachi can substitute with his crows, that's likely not possible.
And they are not on par with speed, alive Itachi has no feats being able to blizt an opponent as fast as Minato, while 14 year old Obito does

Itachi agreed to join the Akatsuki because of the danger they imposed. If he could have defeated him he would have especially for the sake of the Leaf. He warned Sasuke of Obito who he in fact believed to be Madara Uchiha a name not easily acted on without the proper strength to defend your claim. Obito defeats Itachi And btw Izanagi counters Izanami. Hashirama enhanced cells and training under both Minato and Madara. Just look at the facts.

When youre fighting someone its not great to be looking someone directly in yhe eye. In conventional boxing looking at the center of the chest is best. By looking at the center mass you can better read an adversaries maneuvers and react accordingly.

I love Itachi but I feel like you guys are really trying to highball his chakra reserves and stamina. Personally for me he isn’t meant for drawn out fights. That’s why I feel like he lucked out in not having to participate in any war until he became an Edo.

Itachi isn't That good. No permamant sharingan or good chakra reserves. Obito spams with his high Chakra reserves.
Minato is better than itachi. In naruto speed beats everything. Minato doesn't need sharingan to teleport behind itachis blindspot and hit the jugular. He can do this to thousand ninjas in one battle, he can do it to someone else. Also itachi has to battle againts time when he uses susano. Minato can teleport back, play some pokemon violet, then teleport back to itachi who is now 20% more blind for using susano. Rinse and repeat.
Every version of Obito with ms will stomp itachi, so just accept it. If not you can cry maybe
