Janson, what an interesting spot to explore. Cool spot to go treasure hunting. Hope you had a good Christmas and wishing you good vibes in 2025. Happy New Year!!!
Nice piece of history mate. I keep forgetting that its not tidal there…. Thats probably due to us having very few freshwater lakes down here. Thanks for sharing and merry xmas to you and your family.
Howdy you commented on one of my video when I found the bike fame in a pond about 2 to 3 years ago your video looks very amazing thanks you for sharing
Which island (Crown Land I imagine) are you on or near? Looks familiar but it's been a while since I've been up that way. Thanks for this, now I know:)
Georgian Bay is gorgeous, it's one of my favourite places to camp. I'm unfamiliar with the use of tar and fishing... what precisely was the purpose of the tar pits?
the birds look nice

Im surprised you haven't gotten into magnet fishing. Seems like itd be right up your alley. Bet youd make some neat finds around those shipwrecks
@@CreationDust777 I have a magnet but rarely use it, lots of these places would have heaps of junk and would be tricky to manage in my small boat
Never seen tar graffiti. Cool video!
@@northernfound thanks for watching Frank👍🙂
Certainly a new one on me!👍
@@OpenAirOutdoors different to say the least👍🙂
Janson, I have never heard of tar pits like this. The tar graffiti is interesting. Was it cleaned up because it was a hazard to the environment. 👍🎄
Its along a tourist trail, so they cleaned it up for the eye sore factor more than environmental

Hi Janson what is Tar??
I know of tar that’s used to make Roads, is it the same thing?? or something totally different??
@@mdmelbourne6076 its the same thing, also used on roofs, have even found crude oil barrels out there😥
