@@dirtclodmetaldetecting you could very well be right about that, I’ll have to take a closer look into the piece I found, thanks for the suggestion. Merry late Christmas! 🎄
The chain goes to the pocket watch almost all pocket watches back in those days had some sort of fancy chain so you could hook it to yourself the fact that you found the chain in the watch whether or not it has the lid in that same pit still cool fun
Wow Jack ! Awesome jackpot of relics. What was that large piece of metal you found ? Fantastic old chauffeur license 👏 The key brand is Sargent. Great old firearm license too. Super job sharing the history of your finds Jack. Merry Christmas my friend and best regards always !
@@BIGALL7777 Merry Christmas Allan! I’m actually not too sure about what that was. It may have had a dog or figurine on it, could be worth taking home for a clean. I’m glad you liked the finds, I think that chauffeur license is amazing! What are your thoughts on the military items?
@@mazda7873 I checked back in the foot gage and I’m pretty sure I see what you’re referring to. I’m not too sure that it’s a ring, although it’d be a shame if it was, because I won’t be able to find it again.
@WestCoastArchaeologist no worries. I know you will find one 😅 found my first ring recently. It's not a precious metal but it's still a thick old ring. Found at my paps property that dates back to the late 1700s. Used the 19th century. Lots of cool stuff found 👍🏻
You literally found treasure! Awesome!
@@northernfound I suppose so, yes! Merry Christmas Frank.
Great location and finds. Keep that spot secret... lots of mooches around lol
Thanks! It certainly was a surprise. So far I don’t believe anyone else has found my site, but it’s a bit of a concern.
@WestCoastArchaeologist even people that don't dig will want to know where you are at.. don't tell them
@@Travelling..Bottle..Digger thanks for the advice, I’ll definitely keep it a secret.
Good advice. Try not to show any markers at all. Some people are not cool. Great video
@@surpriseitsus9622 you’re completely right. It would be a shame for someone else to go in and take all the finds.
Awesome dig Jack, some very non typical finds, and hope you had a Merry Christmas🌲🌲🌲
@@jsteelsadventureandvariety I had a very merry christmas indeed Janson! Thanks for watching the video, I hope you enjoyed it.
Really awesome dig lots of history there😁
@@mandybrown7758 Thanks a lot! It’s always fun to uncover lost history. Happy New Years.
Awesome finds! That thing you said was a screwdriver piece kind of also looks like a model T dust nut cover. Couldn't really tell though.
@@dirtclodmetaldetecting you could very well be right about that, I’ll have to take a closer look into the piece I found, thanks for the suggestion. Merry late Christmas! 🎄
The long part could be the valve stem cover and the nut will have words on it if that’s what it is.

Ring at the bottom right corner at 0:37

That thing you thought was the bottom of s screwdriver is actually a ford model t valve stem cap
@@droidv1 I completely agree! After taking it home and giving it some thorough cleaning/research, I came to the same conclusion.
The thing that you found it didn’t comment on was a pipe mouthpiece you definitely stumbled on somebody’s trash pit from a long time ago
You’re right indeed! I find a decent amount of those, the owners of this house certainly enjoyed their pipes. They date to around the 1930s
make a sieve, losing so much stuff..
