    A lovely collection of images Mads and especially loved your second last image the forest floor covered in garlic really was a beautiful sight. I was certainly surprised about your admission and thought you shot a significant number of your images from a tripod. Definitely look forward to seeing what summer has on offer for you as I know its one of your favourite seasons

      Thank you, Jim! Yeah, it comes as a surprise to many apparently. Admittedly, I am also mainly shooting in conditions that require a tripod, but if not... Then I don't bother bringing it out ;)

    I love those yellow and blue shots, very nice! I'd give my shutter button finger for some good outdoor color... 😀 Your forest looks like a well-tended garden! Ours is very densely undergrown with briers, grass and small trees (not to mention old refrigerators, boxes, cans, bottles... but I digress).

    Dont know what brand you are using when it comes to polorizer filter Mads, but dont you get a round shape darker sky? Where the cornor are darker and the sky in the middle is brighter. find that hard to post process sometimes.

    Great video! You commented the S curve in the field of wild garlic and the stream. My eye was drawn to the composition of four triangles in the scene with the wild garlic composing the lines. If you look to the lower left third of the image and a little stretch of the imagination there is a fifth triangle, very faint. Nice mosaic!

    Great tip with the polarizing filter. Are you always using that when shooting in harsh sunlight at noon? And is it something worth using for portraits in harsh light as well? ☺️

    • @MadsPeterIversen
      @MadsPeterIversen  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not always, but it's definitely a great tool to pull out. It depends a bit on the style of photo you're seeking :) I have no experience with a pol.filter and portraits, but I can imagine it can be used to somewhat the same effect on a background if it's polarized light.

    • @kentkjrgaardjensen4304
      @kentkjrgaardjensen4304 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MadsPeterIversen thank you Mads. After watching your video I did some research on polarizing filters and since it is great for removing reflections it can be used for portraits to remove shine from the skin and reflections from glasses. I often do family portraits in nature and since I have a small child it is often around noon in harsh lighting. I were actually doing family portraits in the rapseed fields around holstebro/tvis lately where they always have a lot of them every year and I think the polarizing filter would have helped me out a lot to get deeper colors. So thank you very much for bringing this topic I will definatly try out one of these soon ☺️
