    Thanks for an engaging and inspiring video. Most of us camera carriers are not pros, comunicating with a large audience. My audience is my family and my medium is the slide show. I am not going to cover my walls with a few large prints but I have a NAS and a Chromecast to run a slide show. Also, I use photos as a communication starter - can you recall....etc. Of all the photo pros out there on TH-cam, you might be the one who can help make my shoots and edits a bit more artsy and interesting.

    I can resonate with this video because I've had many of these lightbulb moments in the last 3 months. I recently moved from a desert area to one with forests covered in various tree species. It's so beautiful this fall in the USA from the changing colors and I have been experimenting several times a week getting up early to walk through fog and play around with the subject separation because of it. Your videos are wonderful!
    Pro tip for people reading this. If it rained the night before and the morning forecast predicts no wind, there is a good chance it'll be foggy or misty. Try it out!

    Spot on Mads, and so practical… clarity, dehaze, and saturation sliders can kill a photo but when used sparingly can bring to the viewer what my eye was seeing at the time. Pragmatic. I’m going to focus on that for a while. Thank you for all you do Mads 👍🏻

    Dear Mads, I'm following you since more than two years and I just get a little boring with your videos. Don't get me wrong but it looks like you have learned me a lot but you just keep on repeating the same topics. As a positive negative feedback I just want you to be aware of it. I think I'm not the only one. No problem still love your unbelievable skills.....no worries about that.

    • @MadsPeterIversen
      @MadsPeterIversen  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      That's all good, Joost. I have no problem with constructive feedback, I actually appreciate it, so thank you! Let me hear, what do you like to watch from me? I really try my very best to mix it up. A few tutorial-like videos like these, which by far are the most popular on my channel (just go and see what's most popular on my channel) and then a whole lot of videos where I go out into nature and take photos at generally new locations (which is what I prefer). The only problem is that those videos never really get any views, no matter if I go to faraway locations, popular locations or local locations... So the only logical conclusion must be that most people prefer something like this.

    • @MadsPeterIversen
      @MadsPeterIversen  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Also, I have never talked about pragmatism, that golden hours are overrated, photographing from elevated positions, that early spring is great for photography or that printing makes me think differently. Yes, I have mentioned the HDR editing and dehaze/clarity sliders before and it's quite obvious I enjoy atmosphere. However, not all people watch all my videos anyway, so a bit of repetition is necessary. You'll be surprised about how many people keep asking me how I take photos of myself from a distance... 😅

    • @joostverpoort
      @joostverpoort 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You are right Mads, I don't want to get in detail which you did or didn't. Your strongest skills are, and that's really what I like about you, your eyes... you see potential photos no one is seeing and you make the best compositions about these not seen possibilities by others. You are much better than Nigel or James or Thomas in this regard. And that's what I like to see and maybe a little of your way of living and exploring in Denmark. I love your country btw! But I do understand the business site of youtube as well as your approach to it. Only try to be a little less teacher and be more of a storyteller as you do with your photography. Thanks Mads appreciate it!

    Over-editing is ruining so many potentially beautiful photos nowadays: I see it on so many photographers channels here on TH-cam (but also other platforms). Photos of nature simply looking unnatural or sometimes just plain fake: nature doesn't scream with color in most cases, so why should your photos? Such a waste.

  • @notallaboutmeministry3285
