Best practice would be to measure the water you added , if you calculate water volume by tank size then you have to minus the volume of stone and other things in aquarium also. Otherwise if do not minus you will increase salinity.

I'm glad I found this video, since after a few years of breeding fresh water fish in India and at present in Germany, I recently decided to start my new passion of building marine tanks and got EHEIM aquaproLED 84L, which contains LED lights, filter, heater, and thermometer. On August 20th, I filled an 84-liter tank with 60-liters of distilled water, traditional meersalt / sea salt (Tropic marin brand sea salt), and 5kgs of CaribSea Ocean Direct Oolite Livesand. Next week, I'm going to get some of the equipment you recommended, such as a refractometer to check density and a marine test to measure Nh3, Ph, No3, and No2 in video. So, I have a few questions, and I'm hoping you can help me. 1) Is an 84-liers tank large enough for keeping two clown fish? 2) Is that filter suitable for that tank which i got with aquarium, or need I get a new filter? 3) Should I run filterion continuously for the next 15 days before adding Sailfin molly? 4) Can I use the same lED light that came with the aquarium, or do I need to purchase a marin tank light to grow suitable bacteria and algae? 5) Should I add any other liquids to develop bacteria, because CaribSea Ocean Direct Oolite Livesand offered me two packets of bacterium liquid, which I added, and the shopkeeper said livesand has bacteria in it. 6) How often should I change the water in between this 45 or 50 day cycle before adding clown fishes and after adding clown fishes?

Sir I bought 2 juvenile albino oscars (2.5 inch) and 2 convict cichlid (1inch), i found that convicts were nipping fins of the oscars, i supposed that it was because in shop the oscars were kept in a oscar only tank while convict were in a community cichlid tank thats why they were aggressive so i returned the convict 1 day later. Now i only have 2 juvenile oscars, but the problem is they are stressed and sitting at bottom of tank and sometimes glass surfing, i also think that they are scared of the light cause when i turn on light they start hiding. when i add pellets they will eat 2-3 and then they will chew and spit the remaining. Please tell me what should i do. I have old tank and water is crystal clear it has a filter with 8x filter capacity than tank size and a air pump and 4-5 hiding place(clay pot, fake plants) i bought the oscars 2 days ago and did water change same day so i dont think nitrates and ammonia is the issue. My tank just has 2 oscars no other fish .
I have also 2albino Oscar you can see in my channel I face same problem my parrot fish damaged my Oscarso I seprate and give hiding place to the oscar and add stress heal and methylene blue and some rock salt improve fish slime coat and after 3days change 30% water and repeat this process2 time and add heater 28degree temp my fish recover in 6days and feed tubiflex worm they give energy to the fish

direct sunlight is good for marin aquriam.? if algi is not a problem ?
Direct sunlight is never good for any aquarium,
just use ground water it was minerals, groud water ph was 6.5 to 7 all you needed was 2/3 amount salt of what you added.

You can add the bacteria after you wash the filter and media during maintenance
Can you make a video telling which will be beginner plant options for planted aquariums which require little less maintenance and not that tough. Like less CO2 required and can also live without specific water parameters.
