I guarantee nobody on Team Bread is playing in the name of supermarket store-bought bread. Homemade bread may take time, but it is so good and so worth it. The smell of homemade bread honestly makes me so nostalgic
also; sandwiches, pizza, croissants, english muffins, bagels, and toast. keep in mind you can put anything on your bread as well
Wild rice, west african rice, sri lankan red rice, lao sticky rice, sweet rice, thai jasmine rice, basmati rice, long grain rice, short grain rice, arborio rice, bomba rice, sushi rice, and brown and white versions of all of them effectively doublimg it, and that's just like, some of the grown varaeties of rice, let alone the infinite ways you can prepare it.

I was kind of right.
The joys of the heavy treat of sticky rice with coconut milk and brown sugar or the like is so nostalgic. Fried riced is just as good as white rice imo.
Rice has carbs but has sugars that may not be beneficial for those with diabetes in a constant rate like the other choices, and I learned of this when my grandmother had diabetic symptoms, so she had to eat grits. Not necessary to bring up but just wanna spew info in case people didn’t know. Correct me if I’m wrong though.

Oh and this splatfest won't be the last one by the way. They're calling it "Grand Festival" and not "FinalFest" for a reason, and that reason is that there will be more splatfests after. We already know we're getting Splatoween and FrostyFest again, since dataminers found layouts for those special fests for Inkopolis Square (which was released after both of those fests happened).

I love both rice and bread so that one was hard to decide for. I'm ultimately going with rice because of Frye.

You can have rice with curry and stew and chicken and soup and eggs and mangoes. You can also use it to make rice noodles (Which are awesome). And rice cake (both the asian kind and american). And rice pudding. Sushi, kimbap, rice balls, etc. Puffed rice can be used for things such as with milk as a breakfast cereal and rice crispy treats. Thats it. Thats all puffed rice is for lol. I would very much consider myself white, but I grew up eating a lot of asian food because of my mother's background and I would spend my summers in California and we ate a lot of Thai food. Since I couldnt handle the spice I would typically dilute my food with rice. And it tastes so good. My favorite food is thai food diluted with rice. Now I dont care what you say. Asian food in general is the best cuisine. Plus, my grandmother (from Korea) would also make me dishes like bibimbap so yeah rice is the best grain and it has so much to offer. I didnt even need to think about what team to choose like I typically do for splatfests. Team. Rice. Forever

I like rice a lot, but I'm going for team bread, personally. You can make sandwiches with bread. You can toast bread. You can even eat bread on its own. And you only need to have it once a day.

Ok, you have some pretty valid reasons to join rice, but I can't live without my sister's homemade mac and cheese so I'm going pasta.
but, you only need to eat rice once a day if you choose team rice, which mean you still have room for pasta in other meals
The reason why I think rice will win the Splatfest is because nearly every time there's been a Splatfest with white ink, that team has won.

The reason I’m on team bread is because it has the most TASTE variety. Sure rice has many different meals to go with, but to me the rice itself tastes similar in all of them. There’s so many meals that have bread in them and taste different, like honeybuns, donuts, hoagies, hot dogs, pizza, etc.
but you only need to eat rice ONCE a day if you choose team rice!! which means you can have bread at any other time of the day, and you can have bread on the side of your rice! and I think rice can taste very different in all sorts of dishes, you just need to try more rice!
3:40 how dare you say, "all bread tastes the same." also, the theme is "which could you eat every day," and it doesn't say it's the only thing you can eat, making your heathy argument not matter. there is an overwhelming number of things you can do with bread that you just can't do with rice. for example, bagels, toast, grilled cheese, croissants, etc. and finally, liking the ink color is just a personal preference.
edit: made this comment halfway through the vid so I didn't know he would say some of my points later, but even then, technically you can just eat a little crumb of bread and I like bread more so I'm still going to be team bread. anyway, great vid, sorry if it sounded like I was hating on it.

bread has over 100 different kinds such as sourdough, potato bread, garlic bread, baguette, doughnuts, bread rolls, bagels, etc. its also fun to bake bread and smell the fresh bread baking. also you can put many different things on bread such as butter, cinnamon butter (very yummy), frosting, hummus, olive oil, etc.
That’s a lot of different breads!

Theres lots of combinations for both pasta and rice bread is just sandwiches, banana bread and maybe this is a stretch, donuts or other doughy guds not many so its between pasta and rice for me but i love pasta and rice but my mam always made the best pastas growing up so pasta for me!

Team Pasta is the best choice because
A. You Could NEVER get sick with pasta
B.If you DO get sick of pasta you can just make a different version (there are SO many different pastas)
C.Rice with sauce is bad
even though I absolutely love pasta, it's my favorite food, I don't know how I'd feel if I had to eat it everyday, even just for one meal. unlike the others (depending on how you prepare them) pasta is a main dish, whereas bread and rice can just serve as sides, so pasta can be very fulfilling and can make you feel stuffed afterwards. so eating that everyday could just be unhealthy, no matter which type of pasta you prepare. on the other hand, rice is healthier than the other options, and theres LOTS of variety for rice too.
