two things... (not criticizing just giving advice) do long swings when you spray instead of short back and forths. Also try using a warm can (not hot or cold, check temperature on the label but room temp or a little over room temp). it will reduce blotches and get a wider and even spray. great video dude.
whenever you paint with cans always hold it upside down and give it a squirt for a second then go back up right... This will clear your nozzle out before you spray. I don't know why it doesn't instruct you to do so on the cans.
Hey I wondering how the plasti dip is holding up on the bike I may consider plasti dipping it that color but I am curious as to if has scrapped off or something
Yeah, but make sure you clean the surface really well, theres a bunch of youtube tutorials on how to do it. I wouldn't really take my advice in this video seriously lol.
nice Video , i use plasti dip for my windscreen and it doesnt work finde. It destroys my Screen , now i have a Puig screen. Nice your new Parts , the Old parts looks terrible :D
Next time, turn the can upside down and and press it on the ground to get all the junk out before spraying. Also, if you're getting "runs" you're spraying too close. LOL
I'm gonna do the same on my 05 Hayabusa. I did black aerosol cans on my Victory King Pin in 40° weather and at the very end it started to get drippy coming out of the can and ruined the whole job. Next time is in my home made paint booth with a space heater and a HVLP sprayer. Those cans really are rolling the dice That stretch isn't so bad. I hate not being able to drag a knee around turns. My Hayabusa is my favorite bike and it was so hard to find one that wasn't stretched. 180mph on the highway 27mph on an off ramp. No thank you
Nice job with the dip plus if you cause a little mayhem on the streets you can flip the colour on the cheap to his from the fuzz! It will be interesting to see how the dip holds up to leg rub too. Peace Fuker!
wait an see what happens to your tank when your blue jeans rub up against it my gixxer is white plasti dip.an turns the tank blue.TIP ORANGE GOJO TAKES EVERY PIECE OF DIRT OUT OF IT TRUST MY IVE BEEN DIPPING MY BIKE WHITE FOR YEARS .GOODLUCK
hey twisttherist. dont use plasti dip. use ordinary spray paint. first sand with 220grit sand paper, primer around two coats, light sand, scuff pad it, and ad 2x-3x coats of your paint. let dry in between coats about 5-10 minutes. then use clear coat and it will look BOMB bro.
Was watching then realized i got a dirtbike who fucking cares what plastic paint looks like. Im gonna get a spray can of questionable quality black paint. Twenty minutes later. Boom. Same color as that old camaros in ur buddys yard that hasnt drove since 92.
you have to heat up the spray can in warm water so it wont come out blotchy.... it has nothing to do with the spray tip
Thanks. Was having the same problem.
ValleyStyle 956 this is how not to do shit
Your garage is the same size as the first floor of my house wtf

Does that metalizer only work well on plastidip and white??
Man I'm jealous of that garage workshop set up you've got. I'm stuck spraying outside between the rain.
Great job btw looks amazing
If you guys have run you can wet sand it with a light aggressive sand paper.
How many cans did u use of dip and pearl
great video. How many cans did you end up using for the whole bike?
Yo. I just realized you went to pinnacle mall at the end of the video. Where do you stay?? I’m in bentonville. Re doing my ZX6R paint.

Blah blah blah just paint the damn thing already!
AceThe King313 You must be cool if you like your own comments.

Hey I wondering how the plasti dip is holding up on the bike I may consider plasti dipping it that color but I am curious as to if has scrapped off or something

Nice video. And is that a jeep frame?
you sound so pissed the cans werent working lmao
You are hilarious. Love it
You have to heat the can or make sure it's warm
so 4 coats of the white , then 3-4 coats of the metalizer? im trying to do this for my cbr over the winter.
wht did you end up going with? 4 coats of base and 3 metalizer? i was thinking the metalizer would be over powering with that many coats
Do you have to remove the stickers before painting?
How is the bike coming along today?
Step one: move to America so I can have a garage the size of a football field
How many can did you used for the entire bike?
How many cans did you use?
Can you plastic-dip metal? Like rims?
Yeah, but make sure you clean the surface really well, theres a bunch of youtube tutorials on how to do it. I wouldn't really take my advice in this video seriously lol.
How long does it last?
Any updates on it??
