- In the golf swing we need to use our hands, wrists, and arms. In this video I explain the most common reason people don't do this and the two most common reasons this happens. These are not the only reasons why people don't use their hands, wrists, and arms but are by far the most common.

Thank you for this! I came to realize not too long ago that my grip is on the side. Your video further affirms that fact. I'm hitting more consistently now and got my distances back. Great explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
Really interesting. I’ll need to test. Keep the information coming
thank you, let me know how it goes
Thanks again Andrew.
My pleasure!
good info, thnx.
You're welcome!
Excellent drill. How does the left hand grip for right hand golfers go on the golf club at the setup?
Look at the reply I gave to jaxortjackie05. I'll add two things: 1 have the heel pad of the palm ontop of the grip so the grip is more in your fingers. 2 in general I would try a slightly stronger lead hand grip first for most even if you have a strong right hand. But, really depends on the player lots of different grips out there, main thing is get the right hand locked in .
Headed out to play golf later today. I’ll give your drills a try out while warming up before I start this afternoon. 70+ degrees in Arizona today.
Thank you
Great content 👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it!
Interesting, nice video!
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. Been using too strong of a right hand, hold off and drag the handle. Need to point at collar bone. Just wondering how a strong or weak left hand affects this concept. Thanks.
Good question. The lead hand in my view has been overvalued / emphasized while trial hand has been undervalued. But what your lead hand should be really depends for everyone. In general if you have a stronger tight hand your left will be weaker, think Morikawa, JT, Rahm, Adam Scott. If your right hand is more ontop you will generally have a stronger left hand, think Ludvig and Rory. I would first get the trial hand in a good spot.
@ thanks for the quick reply! Definitely new food for thought, would love to release fully without the fear of a pull hook.
What is your swing speed?
My driver is somewhere in the low 120s, but the stuff in the video works for everyone. I use the same steps with people in lessons that swing way below 100 mph.
