Amazing work mate! You guys have set a new standard for quality DOW mod, no one would have thought this is possible a few years ago! Hopefully compatibility with the GOG version can also be looked at in the future, since that’s the only version with offline skirmish available
GW just needs to shut up and give you your own team. If you can do this with a mod, I want to see you make the next Dawn of War. All I ask for is an in-depth army editor. Let us customize the gear of our different unit types, as well as the paint.
Is it just me or whenever one of the faction took the spotlight, a theme fitting to them played briefly? Space Marines had gregorian(ish?) chanting, Tau had an Eastern instrument, Necron has a subtle techno/synth-ish vibe, Eldar had a..."mystical" hymn to it, and as soon as the Imperial Knight landed the Gothic chanting took place again. Either way, top tier stuff, convinced me to try it. Would also love that music to listen to outside of the sound effects.

Dawn of war 2 was awesome. I liked it because it was a few squads instead of a massive army, which made it easier for me to manage at the time, along with the levelling up and customisation. I haven't seen a game like it since
I like the inspiration in this trailer from the first Exodite teaser trailer, before the project was canned by GW. Like the unit running past the skull at the start, and the striking scorpions going against grey-armored marines.

This is DOW 1. I love DOW 1. I like DOW 2. I'm neutral/slightly disinterested in DOW 3. In DOW 2 the units are a bit too colourful but the themes, sounds, music, atmosphere are clearly WH 40k. DOW 3 is a cartoon. If they could make a DOW 4 in the style of DOW 2 with the heroes, weapon customizations, voice acting, sounds and music but large unit size, big tech trees, diverse factions, and the map conquests of DOW 1, I'd fall in love again. One thing I like about DOW 3 is the Ork designs and graphics. Orks are rowdy and a bit comical by nature (that part they succeeded) but they are also dangerous and violent (that part they missed).

no you can do single player skirmish, just you need to be online (logged into steam to launch game)@@mantha6912

Ultimate Apocalypse is the best DoW experience for me but the Vanguard Veterans have no jumppacks so i'm sad.

Love the detail at 0:12 that you can see the Tau weapons are so powerful it punched right through the Marine's heavy pauldron and right into his head.
at 0:18 one of the Tau Fire Warriors gets knocked back so hard his rifle spins in the air lmao
