Thanks Adam! Oh yeah, it was fun no doubt about that. I need a new body now but that happens 😂. This track is beautiful, it's also great that it's open to the public. I'll have to get over there more often. 🙂👍
You did no worse than I would have done! I am not sure if mine would have a body left at all! Some shoe goo and it will be right back to normal! It took a couple pretty good tumbles and kept on going and that is the best part! Loved hearing you guys having a great time banging them around and enjoying them!
Haha yeah, I think we did OK in the end. That body will be my runner body now for sure. Yeah I can see heaps of shoe goo and aluminium tape in this bodies future 😂. It was a fun day! 👍
Awesome run Mick!,👌the cars are so quick and a perfect match. I laughed at your comment "I should have brought a buggy" 😂. Nice driving mate👌. Thanks for sharing your entertaining video👍🍻🦘🇦🇺
Thanks mate. Yeah they were a great match! Whenever one got in front of the other it was hard work catching up. Haha yeah, I spent a bit of time driving over things and in the air. 😂 Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. It was great fun running them on the track. 👍
Hi Mick, cool video. I have a Fantom too and need to get it finished to take it for a run. You may like to try Templestowe next time. I think it has fewer kerbs and easier on the car should you go off piste!
Thanks Steve! The Fantom is awesome, I'm very happy with mine and I'm sure you will be with yours too. That Templestowe track looks great and not too far away, think I'll have to get over there for a run. Thanks mate! 🙂👍
Just a tip Mick, if you going to paint anything metallic again, let it go off and harden properly. Anyways, would be nice to see a custom Fantom body. Great work, thanks for sharing.
If you're referring to the Turbo Optima, I think the main issue was Tamiya white over the Spaz Stix paint. It may have done the same thing even if I'd waited days between coats. Although it was painted in one day, I used the heat gun on it between coats. I have another Fantom which will be custom, haven't decided on a paint scheme yet. Thanks Jacen! 👍
Great track! You guys had a hoot driving these by the looks of it! The body will do for running now you will just have to pick up one for the shelf 😉 Great stuff Mick,
It is a really nice track! Oh yeah it was great fun, will be going back for sure. Yeah that will be my go-to runner body, I'll just load it up with aluminium tape and Shoe-Goo lol. Thanks mate! 🙂👍
Great video Mick! Fitted the option carbon rear axle to mine just yesterday - still yet to finish the body though... been working on finishing up the Tomahawk 😎. Pretty sure we have a road track over this side of the bay near Geelong so I might have to check that out once it's done 🤙🏼
Thanks Andy! Nice one, I got the carbon axle for my other Fantom not sure when I'll get around to building it though. The Tomahawk is a great buggy, one of my favourite Kyosho buggies. Yeah, there is a track in Geelong I think it's a nice one too! 👍
Hi there Mick, some awesome action on the track and nothing like a friendly competition to get the blood pumping! I wish there was a dedicated track near me, that I could utilise. It seems as if this track is a public track? What a great facility that the local authorities have provided, maybe I should hassle my local authority for something like this. Awesome Kyosho. Take care and best wishes 😉😊😉
G'day John, thanks mate! It's an awesome track. Yes mate it's open to the public which is great, and kind of rare these days. I believe Wednesday nights are reserved for the club events, any other time it's open for public use. I think we need more facilities like this! Yeah the Fantom ran great, I'm very happy with it. Cheers mate! 👍
sweet track! yeah bodys dont hold up specially onroad where theres alot of crashes. id challenge you to a onroad race but i have to deal with beating glenn first haha
Hi, can it run with a Tamiya Super Stock RZ 23T 540 Brushed Motor, is it too quick for this car, does it match with the gearing on this, I want it to be really quick around straight line track?
Hi. The Super Stock RZ will fit perfectly! The stock gearing will be fine too. It should be quite quick with the RZ motor, I think for a brushed motor it will be great in the Fantom. 👍
I see you Mick and you get a thumbs up!!! Wish I had more thumbs to give you!! Keep up the great content! You da man!
Thanks mate! Haha yeah, more thumbs would be great lol. Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers! 🙂👍
They look like awesome fun! Great track!!

Wow - what a spot! Like a proper GP track, those curbs are killer. They look like right little rippers - tons of fun.
It's an awesome track! haha yeah I gotta learn to stay away from the curbs. Was great fun! 😁👍
What a great location you’ve found Mick, that looked like a lot of fun, Top video my friend 😊👊🏻
Thanks mate. Yeah it's a great track, had my eye on this one for a while and finally went there. Great fun! 👍
Cool rc's and great run on the track
Thanks Duke. It was great fun running on the track! 🙂👍
Sweet! Rc is so much more fun when you race with mates, you know it was a good day when your body is trashed and tyres burned out 👍
I agree mate, so much better to have more than one out there. Haha yeah, there is evidence of the fun had! 😁👍
Amazing track.
It is mate! 🙂👍
That track is just up the road from me.. I wondered if anyone could just race on there without membership. Great video.
Oh nice, that's handy for you. So yes you can, anytime except on Wednesday nights as the club uses it on those nights. 👍
Awesome, great video mate. That looks like a great track. They are quick.
Great video Mick and a cool track ...right little missile isn't she looks awesome fun 😎💪👌🔥🔥🔥
Thanks mate. They really move for a near stock motor. It was great fun! 🙂👍
Looks like you had fun and that’s what it’s all about, great looking car
Thanks James. Oh yeah it was fun! 🙂👍
Cool video, happy to see Fantom on track. Can we have a close up look on your car show the damage after running.
Thanks! I went over the damage at 0:38 in the video. The chassis is fine, only the body is damaged and the tyre foams have a few chunks out of them.
How much freakin fun was that must have loved every minute!!!
It was awesome mate. Pretty sure I'm going back there soon! 😁👍
What a carnage 🤣😂, the track looks really nice and it looks like you had a lot of fun.
Haha yeah, the poor Fantom is not longer in mint condition! 🤣. It was great fun! 😁👍
I just finished my build of the Ext CRC II version. I need to do some more testing to set it up properly, but my goodness, does it look fun!
That looks so much fun! 👍🏻
Oh yeah, it was fun mate! 😁👍

Look like a nice fast entry level RC 🚗 Do they take std. servo for steering?
Yeah, they can take a standard size servo. I went for a low profile servo but a standard one will still fit. 👍

this track for free?
Yes it's free and open to the public. The only time it's not available is when they have club events, which are on Wednesday nights I think. 👍
