Was in Montevideo, Uruguay a few years ago...loved it, so beautiful, and the people were great. Just ordered a Uruguay jersey with Suarez number 9 on it, i think they can go all the way!...from an Irishman whose country aren't in the World Cup alas....LOL

Best attack in the world atm imo
Uruguay is a solid team with a great mix of experience and talent. Suarez is probably in the best form of his life. My projection is that they reach the Quarterfinal and maybe the semifinal again.
Despite the fact that they have these amazing talents, a country like Brazil, Germany and Argentina are still the big favorites in my opinion.

Era Rubén Paz, sabías que Forlán, su papá es de Mercedes, nació en mi ciudad.
Todos ellos de buenas familias, de trabajo, ninguno nació en cuna de oro.
Tal vez eso los hace mas luchadores.

En el Mundial de México 86, Uruguay, a pesar del 6-1 contra Dinamarca, no fue eliminado en fase de grupo. Avanzó a octavos de final como el 4º mejor tercero. Fue eliminado en octavos de final contra Argentina en un partido apretadísimo. Me extraña que un video de FIFA tenga mal los datos de una competencia de FIFA, pero bueno, errar es humano, Havelange y Blatter no. Saludos.

This IS the team to watch! Do not underestimate this team peepz! Yes Brazil is still my favorite to win the World Cup, but Uruguay will give them hell. I'm really not concerned with the European giants going far in Brazil or even make the finals. Maybe Italy or Germany will put up a fight who knows? They're always game no matter where they play. But history says otherwise. My dream final would be an all south American orgy. Preferably Brazil vs Uruguay; Brazil vs Argentina or Argentina vs Uruguay. Cheers here's to hoping!
If Diego Forlan been playing in europe for the last four years instead of playing in Japan[?] I would lean towards Uruguay as a dark horse candidate to take it all------am looking forward to them humiliating the brits [who hasn't done that?].
