Again thank for sharing your adventures.
The reason you can't explain how being out there makes you feel is because if your not a outdoors person you don't understand how at peace you feel.
I feel the same everytime I'm out on the French River backwoods canoeing, camping & fishing.
Look forward to the next one.
      Thank again Joe.
No worries out there, just enjoyment.

I'm sure it's been asked but since I can't find it, I'll ask for myself... Are the 2 painted toenails a gift from your girls, like - "now when you cozy up at camp you'll think of us"?

Joe my husband and I are both 65 and have never got to go to places like this. But you and a few other you tubers make it possible for us to go there. When you were sitting by those cliffs and pictographs it was a very powerful feeling for us. I looked at my husband and there were tears in his eyes. I couldn’t help myself I started to cry. I couldn’t imagine how it felt it be there. Thank you Joe

Joe - Spiritually speaking, I believe that the weather change just over the top of you was an advisory to observe but not to add your special touch like some folks have done in other petroglyph sites in the US.
I experienced a similar effect when I first visited the Dachau concentration camp near Munich, Germany, in the late 70s. Bright and sunny when we arrived, then cloudy with low ground haze in the camp, then hot and sunny when we departed. That is not a place that bodes well if people joke around either.
      Sta safe my friend.

Double rainbow just for Joe, what does it mean, what does it mean ....btw,when you went for that night walk and went back to your canoe , i thought to myself I would have been so worried about the canoe not being there when I returned, whew, there it was floating ...my heart, my heart,...and it's only day 9.

Beautiful adventure. In just this one day, you had a very magical experience of wondrous proportions. Love your footage and can admire the diligence of setting up a shot up on a bluff, hike down, get in the boat paddle off camera-view, turn around, hike back up the bluff to retrieve the camera. All for 15 seconds (maybe) of decent "B-Roll". I can sympathize with the thrill and frustrations of piecing together and creating these visual adventures for us to enjoy and admire. May you always be blessed with 'double rainbows'.

Joe, let me start of by saying that it almost goes without saying that ALL of your videos are always excellently crafted, shot, edited and composed.
That being said…this series has elevated the whole game. Not only has this raised the bar for you personally, but this is the new standard that all the other outdoor channels must measure themselves against.
The music, the cinematography, the editing and pacing, and just the overall story telling has just been sublime throughout this entire series.
I am dreading the finale and not being able to look forward to the next episode. Utterly fantastic work brother; I hope you feel as proud as we are impressed!

Your footage from the last lake is good evidence for the “center of the universe” argument.

Even watching through a recording you could just feel the time laying over that area of the lake. The peace and serenity was almost palpable, I can only imagine what it would be like in person. Thank you for this adventure Joe.

Baked beans are survival food of the gods. I keep a lot of canned baked beans on hand in case of hurricanes. Can be eaten cold, and is just as tasty cold as heated. High in protein and fiber, plus plenty of calories. And keeps for years and years. Best survival food ever!
