Come along on an overnight bushcraft camp with my new dog, Tripper, the Dutch Shepherd.
We canoe into a crown land camping spot, pick wild blueberries, sleep in a tarp shelter, while using a wool blanket and a fire in front for warmth and bug protection.
I cook up a t bone steak over the coals, relax in a hammock, fish, and swim with my new dog.

I'm an autistic cancer sufferer and watching your videos inspires me to get out & excercise all while having fun with my inexpensive but effective bushcraft tools and eating good healthy food. I have to eat every time you eat! 😂😂 I had to watch TH-cam videos to learn how to cook steak properly so I could chow down while I watch your videos. I've added oatmeal to my diet. I feel fantastic. All thanks to your videos and all the other bushcraft & outdoor videos I watch. The doctors tell me I look way too good for stage 4. Been stage 4 for 4 years. Excercise, diet and getting out into nature are the secret! Lots of vitamins & health food. Not to upstage you. I'm sharing because you often mention your own health issues. I can relate. It's important not to let it intimidate you. Diet & excercise help so much. Bushcraft & hiking makes excercise fun and focused on goals. You're videos inspire us all to get off our duffs. It's good for our mental & physical health!

As I sit here, at my desk ... working my 8-5 office job... I tend to get frustrated on how much time I don't get to spend outdoors... but what does help is to have your videos playing, allowing me a glimpse of life outside these walls... I'm not a prude and I am a retired US Navy officer so I know all the words and have seen people so drunk or high they were incoherent, but If I am watching a video and they do any drugs, heavy boozing, or cursing I will stop that video right then. I don't find that junk amusing or fun and don't feel a need to inflict that kind of thing on myself.

Hi, my name is Nick lamothe and I was truly inspired by your trips to begin my own I am currently 15 years old and winter past purchased a skidoo skandic to begin doing trips of my own. I live in a very rural area called Blanc sablon Quebec or the lower North shore you should please search it up it would be a beautiful place to do a trip at. A lot of adventurers such as Kevin Martel have done trips here. Anyway I'm probably wasting time talking because you will most likely not respond but please like to make this seen you inspired me and many others keep up the good work!!

I also have a skandic as one of my snowmobiles. A 380. Great machines. Not sure what your level of experience is, but I would suggest practicing swapping drive belts, always carry snowshoes and the means to make fire, and let someone know where your going. This winter I hopped off my skandic while out riding and was in snow much to deep to ever walk out of. Knowing how to change a drive belt, carrying snowshoes and fire making gear might save your life one day.

I know a lady that spins wool from whatever you bring her. just brush your dog, cat, rabbit, whatever. save it up in a bag, and when you have enough, she washes it, dyes it if you want a different color, then she spins it into yarn.

I just realized why I so enjoy your channel. I like that you are teaching basic skills and that you're not a survivalist. Hubby and I are a retired couple who will mostly tent camp in state or national parks. We just enjoy getting into nature, and will mostly glamp. However, I think everyone needs some primitive camping skills - as you never know what situation you may find yourself in. Thanks :D

This is the most wholesome fucking content on the face of the Earth.
Joe I've had acid reflux, for a long time and the medication they had me on did more damage than anything. Some of the medications eat your stomach lining so be careful what you take and make sure it works for you. I'm blessed to have stopped taking that medication and resorted to natural remedies. Like aloe Vera juice and slippery elm. Life is precious so take care!!!
