- 2 laps during a trackday on TT Circuit Assen. My riding lines are not good during this video, also not my fastest lap but it was fun . Unfortunately after just 2 laps there was a red flag due to a crash.

hi why does the bike seem to wooble sometime? im planning to get a 2011 675r and heard of a few wobble issues planning to buy it specifically for track use especially at around 3:51 mark any insight on this?
Get a 2013 model. They had steering dampers as standard after users moaned about the wobble under harsh acceleration. It's only a single setting unit but it's better than not having one fitted!
At 3:50 you really started to push. It's Great to see the 675 playing with the litre bikes!

Nice. I've only just passed my bike test and got myself a gorgeous daytona 675. I'm nowhere even close to this standard; I've never set foot on a track, let alone wheels. Maybe one day. Good video though. Happy riding!

How did you keep the camera stable? Like the camera didnt rotate as the bike did.
Gyroscopically stabilised camera. It says Gyrocam in the video description. Cool bits of kit!

Was this an organised race with you or another rider at the track day, or just a friendly ‘keep up if you can’ kinda play?
I’ve had both models, both very fun, very different also, not just engine size, I’ve had so many sports bikes that have always been used for track days etc.

Rode the wheels off my old F4. An I was faster on my 600 then on my 17 gsxr1000r. Haven’t ridden in a decade but still.

If you tan these 675's to anywhere near there limit on the road, which I do, they can get very flighty and twitchy at both ends, almost out of shape. Very light addictive bikes that deserve utmost respect. I can understand why there are loads in breakers.
The R models have steering dampers as standard. Probably due to all the crashed ones!
