- Our November of 2023 barn find of a 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback. The single family ownership car had been sitting in a detached garage near Detroit for roughly 40 years.
We are always looking for cool cars that are in need of rescue. If you know of any, please email me at OctaneTherapy1@gmail.com Thank You!
Take it right to the scrap dealer and get a 100 bucks for the steel and go buy some ribeye's for supper.
I would jump all over that for the right price
Thanks for reaching out to us. glad we could make the deal
My pleasure Harry. It was the right move for us. You made it quick and easy & I hope the new owner gets it back to it's old glory!
If find anything like this Peterson Restoration in East Pennsylvania buy's these car's in any condition and rebuilds them from nothing
There are absolutely plenty of shops who will take on that kind of project and make them like new. That is part of the fun of saving these cars. Save 'em, get them to someone who will bring them back on the road!
It’s sad that the second owner just didn’t care, for this mustang. It would’ve been an amazing find.
My thoughts exactly. In my mind, the find is still a very good find. It will likely be restored by someone and once again be on the road. That is satisfying to me.
I bought the Trans Am. I wondered what happened to the shaker and trans. Now I know!
Matt. Feel free to message me through my Instagram and we can figure something out.
Where you g me the number to the people so I can ask him about the Firebird
The car has been sold.
Would've loved to get that TA
I had first shot at it but passed. It is sold now and will hopefully end up back on the road.
Me Too.
Shockingly bad shape for the miles
Unfortunately true…
Have you seen Dennis Collins and the Shelby’s he has found.
Have you ran the numbers for this car. It may be a low production car. A 390 car is also like the Bullitt mustang.
I enjoy the Coffee Walk shows & he finds some amazing cars. We did run a basic Marti repost on it, but not the elite. Had I kept the car I certainly would have run the elite report.
That is a great catch. Nice.
Do you know if the family you bought the mustang from is willing to sell the 81 trans am
I passed on the T/A. It was very rough but still had potential. 1976 - 455 - 4 Speed. Driveline was out of the car. It has been sold and hopefully, it will be saved.
LIKE IT OR DONT.....
THE CONDITION AND TREATMENT.....ARE THE ONLY REASON WHY YOU GOT IT.
No argument. We were happy to get it and help out.
I also have Mustang Marti report and lists mine as a “fleet” car too. I think this meant they were company cars? Seems to be an odd car for a salesman?
If it is in Detroit, I would surmise it was a Ford management fleet car 👍 just my opinion on the fleet car designation 👍
GT,S code, Fastback 🤔, would think it will get restored 👍
10 000 74 trans ams. Only 950 455 super duty. Yeesh
What about the transam? Is it for sale? Im interested in that.
The T/A was cool ('76 - 455 - 4 Speed) but very rough. I passed on it, but did purchase the 455 hood scoop and 4-speed transmission(s). The car is now sold and has been removed.
I'm disabled and I'm just curious about what state it's in even though I could never get to go there. Enjoyed the video thank you.
