Listening to you talk about mud brought me back to the first video of yours I ever watched: the rental excavator recovery. Watching you dig that thing out, I was in awe. Little girls like playing with construction toys too. You took me back near 60 years when I would be doing that in my sandbox. This video brought me back to helping my uncle on his dairy farm. Thanks for bringing back those very fond memories.

Tell them to throw a few bales of barley (it has to be barley) straw in the pond - it'll clear up the algae. No need to break them open.
ETA Now it's all redone, the owner needs to fence most of it off, leaving one or two areas of bank for the cattle to access the water. If not, they'll soon have all those edges broken down again...

Often I think that you could use two trucks, then I see your plan to stay small and in control. SMART BOY.

Chris I'm a new subscriber. Watched a few videos already. You sure can drive those machines. Really enjoy watching your videos.

"Sink right out of sight...." Did someone tell you that, or is that the 'Voice of Experience' talking?! That's one of the things I so like about your channel, Chris, the knowledge you pass along to your viewers. I'll never be a professional at this, my excavator operations are limited to my nephews KX057-4 on his ranch, but I've become a better, and safer operator from what I've learned from you. Thank you, my friend.......

A dozer lets you get overconfident enough that you might need 2 excavators and 2 dozers to get it out.

@@fhuber7507 I remember a time at DakTo in Vietnam, during monsoons when they got a Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) stuck on flat ground. They brought out an M-60 tank to pull it out and got that stuck. They brought out a tank retriever and intentionally stuck it, took a second tank retriever to hold the first one to pull out the M-60, then the APC, then the second tank retriever pulled out the first one, and everyone retreated for a beer - or two - or twelve - or until the last man was standing! OH, the horrors of war.............

Hey Chris. Noticed this before in other videos. Seems like the dozer does a great job for the most part. But it seems like it pulls the RPM's down a fare bit with a small load. Maybe think about up sizing the dozer
