Can you advise as to what the wiring harness was that you disconnected from the OEM mirror? You never mentioned it when you put everything back together? Thanks Gord
I lovemy Dash... the only think i dislike it the constant time display, I'm trying to find a way to tuen it off from constantly showing, and it's always wrong on mine too... lol
When you removed the stock mirror, there were wires connected to the mirror. Does that just stay disconnected when you install the wolfbox "mirror"? And by disconnecting those wires, do you lose any functions like onstar capabilities?
Harness is for auto-dimming function of stock mirror. My guess is he tucked in the cover or took it out if other end disconnects (haven't opened mine yet). Onstsr runs on a different fuse in the box he runs his wires to, shouldn't affect it.
Thanks from across the pond.
Awesome! In 2024 and 2025 you are crazy if you don’t have a dash cam!
Fully installed mine, works great, thank you for the video!
That rig sure is beautiful! Definitely looks like a good cam, based on your adventures and seeing the use of it in your Jeep. :)

That powers the mirrors auto dimming/light adjustment, my guess is he just tucked the plug in under the cover
Will damage the rear camera when going through car wash??
Will the wolfbox backup camera interfere with the vehicle's oem backup camera or could they use together

Pull up settings, scroll them up and you can click to not show the time display!

I was thinking the same thing? What is the wiring harness for when he disconnects the mirror? He didn't address this when putting it back together??
