I put this in my 2024 Rubicon 4xe and absolutely love it. Especially since I put 37" tires on and fill the back with all the overlanding gear. I have the ACC as well, it is a bit annoying but really not terrible for me. Not being able to use my visor took me abit to get used to.
Great video! I'm happy to see another with this dashcam that has the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) box in the way. I installed my G900 a few weeks ago and I love it overall but 2 things are annoying. 1) The ACC box is in the recordings for the front dashcam. 2) The driver's side sunvisor can't come all the way down. The GPS module may not be useful for day to day use, but I installed it because in case of an event or accident, I will have more proof of speed and location in the recorded video. Do you have the same problem with the sunvisors not being able to come down fully?
Yes, noticed that, but I always wear sunglasses and have tint on the windshield. With that combination, I don’t remember the last time I used the sun visor.
Guys, thanks for making a video. I’ve been thinking about getting this setup for a while now. Question I have is you have to tap into the reverse lights but it seems like your mirror has power to the rear all the time. Is that a setting? Does it allow you to run it on the whole time the Jeep is running?
We talk about this at the end of the video. Tapping into the rear lights only changes the display settings when you go in reverse. In hindsight, wouldn’t have done this on a jeep that has an OEM reverse camera.
Quick question: can you honestly back up and park safely between two cars using the lines displayed on this video screen? For myself, the directional lines on the display do not realistically and accurately match up with the depth perception of surrounding objects. I welcome your comments.
@@ErinParta my email should be in the About section. But it’s just the letter F@ our domain, which you can see in the channel info. Don’t know what’s going on with YT and why they’re making this complicated 🤣

How's the bloom when driving at night with other cars behind you? Mine is such trash and blinding, I'm surprised it's legal.

How are you getting your tire off in back? Will you need to remove the cam from the 3rd light?
I wanted to get it but for me the front camera is important. I have the adaptive cruise control like you. does it block your front camera?
So they have a G930 model (link in description) that has an adjustable front camera. That may work better for you!
@@DuckMeTV That looks like it might work. Thank you I'll respond back after I get it installed. Thank you
Nice video. How do you access the spare if needed? Can you disconnect the rear camera? Of leave slack during installation?
