Just the video I was looking for, perfect timing.
oh brill thanks for the comment
I just put this into a new Ineos, it is the best option you can use. It works Perfectly.
its great how it looks factory fitted and doesnt just allow to see behind but also is recording front and back
Great video in preparing for a Wolfbox install in a Transit Customs. I've opted to buy an interior rearview mirror TC (4385007) and remove the glass and bezel to reuse the rear end as the mount for the Wolfbox. The position and geometry should be correct from the existing OEM mount and trims. Fingers Crossed 😊
@@alanmctear5502 thanks and sounds like a plan. Be interesting to see the final results. I do wish Wolfbox sold an offset mount so it shifted the mirror and inch towards the driver so the front facing camera wasn't obscured. I did contact them but said they have nothing
Maybe 3d print one?
I ve got this! The problem is with the rear camera on the outside! When it's raining it's useless other wise it very good
@@nadimhussain6673 any rear view camera will be disturbed with rain if it gets on the lens. You can reduce this with making sure once clean you protect it with something water repellent
Great video thanks. Has the second mirror mount held up ok ?
@@ih2551 thanks and up to now yeh. Hope it stays in place 🤞
Good video thanks. So there isnt a need to connect the red line to the reversing control line?
@@AyReSy1UK thanks and nope the red lines isn't needed to have the reversing camera working. All that it does, if the red line is connected to the reverse light, is the mirror will flip to the reverse view if the mirror isn't set to it and it has guide lines. But to be honest the guide lines are a gimmick and I have the mirror set to front and back anyway
Great video Andy…..😎
@@steve61098 thanks 👍
Hi, great video, lots of useful tips. Just wondering what the description of the windscreen mount was called on ali express was please?
hi, thanks. there is a link in the video description. but it is titled - 1pc Car glass rearview mirror base mirror holder modified DVR driving recorder bracket
Is it possible for you to upload some example footage of the front camera? I am interested how much the view is blocked by the Ford mounting
@@ericritter3498 definitely once it goes on it's first drive out. But that's 3 weeks from now
Great video thanks. Has anyone on here tried to find a better 12 v source so don't have to use the USB socket? I would rather do this than have it plugged into the USB. Did it on my old T4, a lot neater.
i used the USB infront of the driver ontop of the dash, this is on the Transit Custom though.
@@DriveWithAndy I'll figure it out and post on here when done.
Nice video!
thanks
How long was the cable from back to front. I have a transit 6 meters long (L3 H3) thank you for your comment.
@@jdfaber3243 hi, so this fit our Custom LWB being 5.5m long with some slack in the cable left. Hard to 100% confirm but seen as the cable in ours, yet to be neatened up for its conversion, is dangling a bit along the length of the back of the van, once all tightened up 6m may be possible
The rear cam does it record as well or is it just a rear cam for view?
il be honest i have not taken the memory card out to check but i am fairly certain the point of it is that its a front and rear dashcam so will record off both
I have a 2016 Renault Trafic van, with factory fitted reversing camera which is part of the middle brake light at the top and back of the van and the display is shown on a small screen in the rearview mirror. I'd like to replace it and have a dashcam which works with the reversing camera. I know you have it as the reverse camera in your video, but wondering if I can use the vans factory camera for reversing only, as it is low res and the Wolf 900 as the dashcam, but this will mean having two camera input.
@@aaronag7876 hmm it's a good question and I did think what do people do with having two. For our van it had no rear view mirror. I like the fact it's basically a mirror but also a forward and rear dashcam. I would guess you would have to run both set ups
What year of the van please ?
@@VVWorks it's a 2018 Transit Custom Limited
Do you have link for the spare bit you glued on
Yeh check the video description 👍
Hey i seen the fiesta videos.. where did you get the steering wheel from?
@@MihaNovakJD hi, as in the Fiesta custom steering wheel? That was made by someone on Facebook called Sebastian Okon. Tell him I've sent you. Just had it re trimmed by him and it's stunning
@DriveWithAndy do you happen to know his IG since i do not use facebook?
@@MihaNovakJD sure try this but I think he isnt active on IG so send him a message and I will Facebook message him saying to look out for a pm.

Hi, I have a question... The dashcam have Carplay, how do I reproduce music using the car audio without using the cigarette port? Hope U respond.
@@sebastianmasmela3663 the wolfbox g900 doesnt have carplay
I just dont understand where the hell should i connect that short red cable?🤷🏻
@@Kaleda91 AHH ok so it's something I may do. I think it needs to be spliced to the rear reverse light. The only difference with doing this with this kit is that reverse lines appear on the screen and the mirror will also switch to the rear view. I don't need this as the lines are a bit of a gimmick and the mirror can just be flicked to the rear anyways or have it set like I do. Half and half
good dashcam but ON Wi-Fi or app.
The pro version has those things
'OE' not 'OEM'
Oh haha
il change the thumbnail 🤫
@@DriveWithAndy lol, it's the most misused acronym on TH-cam
@@LocksLondon i honestly always hear OEM. i know now though
