Super 77 or 80 should be fine for a flat panel. Glen and I have done some complex panels (Ranger doors, B, and C pillar) with stretch vinyl. In that case countertop adhesive works really well. To apply it I use a cheap Harbor Freight HVLP gun, and spry it just like you did the aerosol. For cleanup I let it dry in the gun. Next time you use it pull the tip and needle out of the gun and the chunk of glue will pull out clean. Anyway, RAWK!!!
