Fear- Emit. Especially in the beginning of the movie, Emit gets really afraid when anything happens which isn't supposed to. Anger- batman. Batman doesn't actually get that angry for most of the time, but he does try to be the "Tough guy", just like anger. Just finished watching the movie, it was pretty good & emotionally touching. There were many things I caught and here are a few. Also, one of the other memories shown is when Riley & her family are heading to San Francisco in which they are taking pictures with the statue/model triceratops, in clear reference to the upcoming movie The Good Dinosaur. One more thing I saw was the memory in which Riley & her friend are still toddlers and they are sliding down a slide in a playground which resembles the playground from the Sunnyside Daycare in Toy Story 3. He mentioned Jack Jack, and I have a funny story about that character... So I live in Sonoma and there are a lot of people who work at Pixar here. I saw the short story Lava (is that out yet?) before it even came out because someone from Pixar came to our school...stuff like that. My friend (well, I don't know him to well, but) Eli's dad works at Pixar, too, and worked on the movie The Incredibles. Long story short, they had Eli make baby noises in front of a mic, and I know the voice of Jack Jack from the Incredibles.

Also, in the imagination land a few boxes of games can be seen behind a house of cards. The top box has a picture of a clownfish and is titled Find Me ( obviously a shout out to Finding Nemo). But underneath that game is a Dinosaur game as well. While the Dinosaur on the box isn't green this time, I just can't help but think it is not a coincidence since The Good Dinosaur comes out later this year.
Just watched the movie, and I think it's safe to say that Riley's monster is Tim, the giant guy that Mike and Sulley crossed the street with. His legs can be seen as props in dream studios, where they make both dreams and nightmares. If he traumatized her as a child, he'd make perfect nightmare fodder.

Hey hey! I saw Inside Out again today and I was on the look out for Easter eggs this time. When Joy, Sadness and Bing Bong were in Imagination Land and were passing by the card tower, there were a bunch of board game boxes stacked on top of each other. One of the boxes had a picture of a certain clownfish with the words 'Find Me' written on the side of the box. Very subtle Easter egg. Took me a while to figure out that it was Nemo and catch it before it went away.
I'm looking forward to Inside Out but I don't think I'll see it opening night. I live in New Jersey so does that help you? I'm also looking forward to Jurassic World, after having recently seen Jurassic Park.

I already saw Inside Out on Tuesday at a special viewing. It was amazing and I'm seeing it again today! Didn't see any Easter eggs but I'll look again today.
The similarities between Rex ( from Toy Story 1,2,3) and Arlo( from The Good Dinosaur) are super apparent. Green dinosaurs who are fearful of everything and experience love from a human is a description of both.
Just saw Inside out! There is the Luxo ball, haunted mansion theme song, a picture of Figiment (from Walt Disney World's Journey into imagination ride) , and a couple of dinosaurs. Also (super cool) there is one scene where Riley hears a creeek sound and her closet door opens, but the her parents come through the regular door and possibly scare her monster away

In the still of Riley's classroom, you can see an adolescent version of the lady from Ratatouille on the left. The facial structure is exactly the same. I feel so accomplished for finding an Easter egg before I've even seen the movie!!!!
I just noticed an easter egg in this movie when I re-watched it today. In toy story 1 (1995) we see a poster for something called "wrath" in Sid's room and see that same poster again when we go into the boy's head at the end.

One thing I noticed while watching the movie is that when it showed Riley as a toddler (around Boo's age) her hair was the same as boo's. Two pigtails with the same exact hair ties (two pink balls on each side) I thought maybe that was some kind of nod towards boo.

I understand why many people loved Inside Out, and I know that the characters of the emotions are able to help in child psychology. But I personally thought that it could have easily been a short film, and that they put way too many obstacles in the way of the characters.

I have a theory that could or couldn't be right and I have no idea if anyone else is thinking the same thing but I think Riley could possibly be related to Elsa and Anna. - Riley lives in Minnesota Norwegian people (vikings) settled there and obviously come from Norway where Elsa and Anna are from. - Riley's last name (Anderson), is common and originally a Norwegian name. - we still don't know what Elsa and Anna's last names were so we can't be to sure but last names can also change considering a child takes the fathers last name. Elsa and Anna were women so they're last name would not have been carried. (According to history they're last name would have been agdardotter but that could be wrong)

Long comment, but worth reading SuperCarlinBrothers In Inside Out, during Sadness and Joy's time lost in Riley's psyche, Anger, Fear, and Disgust are left in charge of Riley's mind. At one point during this time, Riley is trying to go to sleep in her new bedroom when she sees a shadow cross her wall. Fear exclaims that it's a bear, while Disgust dismisses this by saying there are no bears in San Francisco and then Anger says that he saw a really hairy guy that looked like a bear. Now this is obviously a reference to the term "bear" as a hairy gay man, as San Francisco has a large gay community, which is why it was funny. But, this could also be seen as a reference to Riley's childhood monster from the monster world. If we take a look at Jon Negroni's theory, in Brave the witch is actually Boo, and she is obsessed with turning people into bears because that is the animal she feels resembles Sully the most. Now, if we go back to Fear interpreting the shadow as a bear, this could be because Riley shares Boo's interpretation of Sulley looking like a bear and has a lingering fear of her monster, which is Sulley! Please let me know what you think and maybe even make a video about it if you think the theory is worth taking a look at :)
Just saw it and was amazing! Found two EASTER eggs 1. There was a bunch of birds clumped up on a electrical wire during the road scene.... Possibly the birds from the birds short? 2. Hey, I watched your video and read his article.....you're right. especially because we don't know how long Mike and Sully were doing all the other jobs before they became scarers, plus Sully was already one of the top scarers. I don't think he broke the scare record his first week. He must have been scaring for a while, thus leading me to believe that by the time Mike and Sully were on the scare floor, Randle could have scared Andy for a few years and the door gets destroyed. Randle went straight to scaring, Sully didn't. J. you're right.

I had the privilege to see Inside out early and after watching the film I actually realized that Riley (the main girl) and especially her friend look extremely like two of the girls playing in the caterpillar room in Toy Story 3 which would line up chronologically with inside out as Riley would be about 5 in Toy Story 3...

The similarities between Rex ( from Toy Story 1,2,3) and Arlo( from The Good Dinosaur) are super apparent. Green dinosaurs who are fearful of everything and experience love from a human is a description of both.

Just saw Inside out! There is the Luxo ball, haunted mansion theme song, a picture of Figiment (from Walt Disney World's Journey into imagination ride) , and a couple of dinosaurs. Also (super cool) there is one scene where Riley hears a creeek sound and her closet door opens, but the her parents come through the regular door and possibly scare her monster away
Now that the movie is out, could you possibly do a video in the near future about the things you mentioned to look out for and whether or not they were there/where they are? It would be hard to point out future characters we don't know yet, of course, but I don't have access to the movie as of right now so I'd really like to see the many Easter eggs and things that were in Inside Out. (I only remember being able to spot one when I saw the actual movie)

In the still of Riley's classroom, you can see an adolescent version of the lady from Ratatouille on the left. The facial structure is exactly the same. I feel so accomplished for finding an Easter egg before I've even seen the movie!!!!

I just noticed an easter egg in this movie when I re-watched it today.
In toy story 1 (1995) we see a poster for something called "wrath" in Sid's room and see that same poster again when we go into the boy's head at the end.
SuperCarlinBrothers I think you missed out the big map on the wall in the background (5:22) with little markers on places where Pixar films are set like south america from UP for the paradise falls, Australia for finding Nemo, Scotland for brave and various places in america for movies like toy story and maybe even the Incredibles. notice how Africa and most of Asia are left blank since no (or little) Pixar movies are set there, except for japan which could be San Fran Tokyo from big hero six.

I was doing a bit research and I found out that Riley's last name is Anderson. Well, Bonnie from Toy Story 3 HAS THE SAME LAST NAME. And since we also know that Andy gave Bonnie all of his toys and that Boo (AKA Mary) from Monsters Inc has a Jessie doll, there maybe some sort of connection there?
As said in a later video about Riley's monster along with a before mentioned, Andy's monster, along with what you said in this video about Up, Inside Out, and Toy Story 3 being in the same 30 year time span, who would Russel's monster from Up be? Does he have one?
Is there a follow-up video to this going over what (from this list) he spotted? Because that'd be cool..

i think the girl with blue hair in Rileys class is Collette Tatou from Ratatouille.
One thing I noticed while watching the movie is that when it showed Riley as a toddler (around Boo's age) her hair was the same as boo's. Two pigtails with the same exact hair ties (two pink balls on each side) I thought maybe that was some kind of nod towards boo.

I understand why many people loved Inside Out, and I know that the characters of the emotions are able to help in child psychology. But I personally thought that it could have easily been a short film, and that they put way too many obstacles in the way of the characters.
As soon as I saw the trailer I had a theory which is Riley is transgender meaning she wishes to be a boy I think that's the term I'm looking for. My evidence Riley's Parent's emotions all correspond to the parent's gender, however Riley has 2 male emotions, just an idea I had, expand if you wish, thanks for reading, have a banana.

I have a theory that could or couldn't be right and I have no idea if anyone else is thinking the same thing but I think Riley could possibly be related to Elsa and Anna.
- Riley lives in Minnesota Norwegian people (vikings) settled there and obviously come from Norway where Elsa and Anna are from.
- Riley's last name (Anderson), is common and originally a Norwegian name.
- we still don't know what Elsa and Anna's last names were so we can't be to sure but last names can also change considering a child takes the fathers last name. Elsa and Anna were women so they're last name would not have been carried. (According to history they're last name would have been agdardotter but that could be wrong)

In Inside Out, during Sadness and Joy's time lost in Riley's psyche, Anger, Fear, and Disgust are left in charge of Riley's mind. At one point during this time, Riley is trying to go to sleep in her new bedroom when she sees a shadow cross her wall. Fear exclaims that it's a bear, while Disgust dismisses this by saying there are no bears in San Francisco and then Anger says that he saw a really hairy guy that looked like a bear. Now this is obviously a reference to the term "bear" as a hairy gay man, as San Francisco has a large gay community, which is why it was funny. But, this could also be seen as a reference to Riley's childhood monster from the monster world.
If we take a look at Jon Negroni's theory, in Brave the witch is actually Boo, and she is obsessed with turning people into bears because that is the animal she feels resembles Sully the most.
Now, if we go back to Fear interpreting the shadow as a bear, this could be because Riley shares Boo's interpretation of Sulley looking like a bear and has a lingering fear of her monster, which is Sulley!

I saw the movie two weeks early. IT WAS AMAZING! I cried like 3 separate times.
I'm so looking forward to this movie (not just because the Maine character shares my name) but I probably don't see it opening night and most likely not even opening week! I like going right before they stop showing it so no one else is there

The classroom shot also had a very similar looking image of the plant life indicator from Wall-e.
The green plant on the poster at the back of the classroom looks exactly like the plant that is planted at the end of Wall.e, so does that mean that Inside Out possibly comes after Wall.e and A Bug's Life and the reason that humans have emotions with bodies controlling them is something to do with the radiation on earth that mutated them slightly?
I'm guessing that the dinosaur that the car rolled into in riley's memory is probably a 'good dinosaur' reference.

Carl at the beginning of Up is always in a pissy mood, and they could have used their bodily structures to draw the comparison between the two movies, in that Carl's "main emotion" so to speak is Anger, they could probably use that logic to explain the behavior of characters in their movies... When Riley and her mom are coming back from the pizza place and they talk about "the time with the dinosaur" the dinosaur they run into is arlo. You can tell because of his tail and back feet and the shape of his body
Hey, I watched your video and read his article.....you're right. especially because we don't know how long Mike and Sully were doing all the other jobs before they became scarers, plus Sully was already one of the top scarers. I don't think he broke the scare record his first week.
He must have been scaring for a while, thus leading me to believe that by the time Mike and Sully were on the scare floor, Randle could have scared Andy for a few years and the door gets destroyed.
Randle went straight to scaring, Sully didn't. J. you're right.
At least before Monsters Inc. takes place. Who says that monsters don't live for thousands of years? Also, going with the idea that they go back in time through the doors, it doesn't matter if Monsters University takes place after Toy Story 8. They can go back to when Andy was a kid.

Hey I have an idea about where the pizza planet truck is but I watched the movie online and it was pretty low quality so I couldn't be sure. Anyway, before Riley's hockey tryouts there is a yellow truck in the south end of the parking lot that looks pretty close. (It's about 45 minutes into the movie.) Like I said, not sure, but no one has found it yet even though its supposedly in the movie
