- Not far from where I am staying are the roads that contain the girly bars and very close by is the night market I take you on a tour around the streets then the market then the streets again

Good to see you out and about buddy after our catch up in Bangkok in the rain in Soi 8. I still reckon Phnom Penh is the place where the girls still try as much as they can to welcome you and bring the fun. At least that was our experience there. stay safe

The information your viewer suggested is correct its actually rue 51 otherwise known as Rue Pasteur, but its one of the roads that run in parallel with the riverbank, rather than running to the river. If you walk about 10 minutes up 172 or 174 you come onto Pasteur. Your camera still wont be welcome though!
I have to say buddy, I really did not like Phnom Penh, in the red light especially, it kinda had a Pedo thing going on, full of disgusting people and the hotel owners where showing signs of being desperate. Not for me buddy
@@thedeadhorse that's fine, just trying to help a really incompetent travel guide with minimal people skills. As for pedos, all the working girls are meant to have ID cards but as most of their customers are at least 40 it might seem like that, since the Khmers are small in build.

Wow! Many, many years ago there was hardly any buildings on the other side of the river! Very few bars, but lots of people sleeping in the streets! Have things improved?
I dont think so, its got worse, I was hear many many years ago, So I do know what is was like
its improved for a few. Saw two Rolls and two Bentleys today as I do most days. However for the rest its still the same. Actually see a lot lot more people sleeping in the streets in Bangkok. Maybe Im bored of SE Asia but it seems to have lost any charm it had.

Hi Sean, check out The Foreign Correspondents' Club in Phnom Penh. It's on the riverside not far from where you've been in the blog. It was famous for foreign news reporters during the civil war. It sounds posh but it's now a normal bar with loads of pics and info on the walls.
It’s closed for renovations now I believe.

Hard to film in the red light. Most these girls have a secret shame and dislike of thier life. Even travelers get scared when they see the camera maybe the lady back home might see what thier up to 😂. Who knows 🤪
