- I buy the ticket for the Big Red Bus, but get picked up by a tuk tuk and taken to another bus stop, Then on to another, Wot a SCAM, Full story

I went to Vietnam twice, encountered a bag snatching incident in 2011 and a gang robbery in Hanoi in 2015. It was a very bad experience and there will definitely not be a third time.

Ive been to Cambodia around 15 times due to an ex gf. The 1st time i contracted Shigella, because a small restaurant had the exhaust fan from the toilet blow into the fckin KITCHEN !! was shitting through the eye of a needle for a month. Since then, i think my immune system is Iron Clad, coulda ate that small dog raw and not gotten ill !!!

Siem Reap is a very user friendly place. Phnom Penh is not all bad - sounds like you stayed in the wrong district. In PP, next time, aim for street 172 daytime and Street 136 nighttime. Cheers !

Great vlog mate. I think the Cambodian vlogs have been some of you best. I know Cambodia well and you are on the money with your descriptions. Cambodia is not a place for the faint hearted. My advice to first time visitors would be to fly in and out of Siam reap I am afraid the rest of the country is pretty f****d. looking forward to your next vlogs on anchor watt. they did that to me years ago at Poipet. Kept seeing this big NICE bus cruising around the circle picking the occasional person up. Asked about it....yes yes, can. We get on and it goes down the road and everyone is told to pile off at a little bus stop office. Later a WORN OUT bus shows up and ppl start getting on, with bags of rice, fans, you name it being loaded on. There were 3 big bags of rice set on the floor behind the shifter, bus driver had to climb over them to get to his seat. They put boards across the aisle from seat bottom to seat bottom after they ran out of stack stools to seat ppl in the aisle. Freaking aisle was piled a meter high with stuff halfway back. Later in the night they stopped in the middle of NOWHERE and ppl piled out for a pee in absolute darkness. I barely got out climbing over/thru all the crap in the aisle. Was easier to step up on the rear tire and climb in the window to get back in. Must have been near 70 ppl on it, shocks bottomed out and then we hit rough road for an hour. NOTHING can top that one for a shit ride in my book.

It had a good brass up in Pattaya courtesy of the Cambodian gentlemen.

For travelling around use Giant Ibis bus.1or 2 dollar extra but big bus lots of room and no stops.
Siem Reap places to eat and drink. Khmer Taste restaurant on Sok San road. $0.50 beer. Cheap food.
Decent hotel with breakfast and pool about $10 per night Angkor Boutique hotel.
