All of this is so spot on. I can literally picture a bar manager every time you impersonate one😂

I've thrown myself into learning English to try working as a bartender. English is not mother tongue as well as I haven't ever worked as a bartender. In the next month I'll be going to London. God helps me !

Hey Jason, the link to resume two on your website is broken. It's missing the "h" in the "https" at the start of the url.

Since the video resumes are still a new concept, would it be prudent to showcase basic skills like pour counts when experience is slim? Or adding some sort of visual to prove bartending skills and competence?

You could if you like, but I would make sure it looks top notch, and fast. In my personal edit, I showed no bartending and simply tried to showcase my personality. You could maybe make two versions and try to see which one is more effective in getting a response.

I noticed the format of the resume isn’t intended to write the objectives of the job just dates, company and job title.. the resume is just for presentation not so much to talk about ourselves ?

Could you please comment on 1 question as a professional
So I work as a barthender in 5* hotel, first barthending job, huge luck, and I see ways to grow and develop myself in dis company, but i have a feeling that i would miss something, like why not to work here for a while and than move to a night club, and then casual bar to like develop all possible barthender skills. What would you chose carrier or more skills and fun?

I would say think about where you want to go and grow with your bartending. Are you thinking this is long term job? Then a hotel will offer more opportunities for higher, better paying careers. Or is this simply for fun and cash for a short period or while you're younger? Then a nightclub could fit that need better, but will be aware that option may be less consistent due to up and down popularity of nightclubs, and much more taxing personally working in that type of high energy environment. There is no right or wrong best answer, it depends on what you want in your life and your own bartending :)

I have an interview at a small town dive bar! Any tips? I literally have no experience whatsoever (just a liquor licence). I mean, I'm a 20-year-old attractive female (just being honest), but how far is that really going to get me? I need to make a good impression, any last minute advice on how to do that?
P.S. I love your videos! I came across your site a few days ago and they are very informative, so thank you for that! :)

Laura J hey how it go for you?? I am where u were 5 months ago.. I just got my certificate yesterday, I actually went right out to a bar that I saw on Craigslist and he wanted me to start right away.. I told him give me the weekend to think it over I just want to make sure I weigh my options if any.. I also went to a hotel bar.. but this other place was willing to hire me with no experience, I even knew more than they did. The other bartender didn’t know how to make any craft drinks at all. Only highballs.. it would be a good place to gain the experience, I just don’t know yet.. 😐.. just wanna hear how things went for you
