    Hi guys, 30 And A Wake Up recommended your channel. Glad he did. We have been shopping for a Class B and are 99% sure we will purchase the Travato 59KL some time this winter. First on our list is Yellowstone.

      Congrats on making the decision! It’s a hard one, but our van is the perfect fit for us. No regrets. 🤙 Hope to see you on the road!!

    Looks like a great visit to both national parks. Glad to hear of the serendipitous Cracker Barrel friendship.

    Always best to yield to the bison-- like we have a choice LOL We are so blessed with a beautiful country!

    Wow that was probably your best video so far. So much wildlife all over the place. So cool and Yellowstone looks beautiful. The Tetons look great also but the wildlife at Yellowstone is crazy. Great video 👍🏼

      Thanks!! We got lucky with the animals- I think since Yellowstone was closed and humans were away all the animals came out to play 🤙

    Who would have ever thought that mice would be a problem for VanLife. I guess it makes sense since they probably look for warm places to invade. Love your channel!

      Thanks! Yes, since we've filled some of the holes where they can get in we haven't had any issues since (fingers crossed!)

    Im headed up to Teton as soon as I get some service work done here in Colorado. Bear, fox and buffalo! Thanks for sharing!!!

    Love your video! You saw more wildlife than I did 3 years ago. I saw one pack of bison from a great distance in Lamar Valley. Heading to GT and Yellowstone next week. Can’t wait! Thanks for whetting my appetite!

    • @ChadandPaul
      @ChadandPaul  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’ll love it. We heard since the park was closed down there are more animals closer to the roads than usual. 👍

    Grand Teton is gorgeous! We were only able to spend less than a day there in 2016 so hopefully we'll be able to be back one day. Look at all the bison! Incredible 😍 Funnily we didn't get to see any bears in Yellowstone but saw one in Grand Teton.
    Camping in Yellowstone is crazy, I remember we had to be at our campground right when people were leaving to grab a campsite. Loved the video!

    • @ChadandPaul
      @ChadandPaul  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah the campsites are nuts there! I’d definitely recommend staying outside the park. I think since the park was closed for so long there were more animals out than usual- unfortunately I think there have been more animal-related incidents too...

      Had to get some work done on the van for a few days in Iowa. Back on the road and heading east 🤙

    I don't know if you've been to Custer State Park in SD yet, but it is amazingly beautiful, full of wildlife, and less crowded than most national parks.

    • @ChadandPaul
      @ChadandPaul  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes! We loved Custer! ❤️ So beautiful- and such a relief from some of the crowds at Yellowstone.

    Great vlog! I enjoy watching your journey. Yellowstone is my favorite too (as you might guess from my profile picture). I was supposed to be there in May, but my reservations (hotels and flights) were cancelled. Maybe 2021.

      Thanks!! What a magical place. I think we made it just in time, apparently it’s totally mobbed now. Hopefully people leave the animals in peace 🙏

    LOVE Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Grew up in Wyoming, many summers there. GREAT video. What kind of editing program do you have? I am brand new to all this vlogging. Thank you.

    What's your theory on how mice get into your van? Are they acrobatic, parkour, pole-vaulting or gymnastic mice?

    • @ChadandPaul
      @ChadandPaul  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd go with pole-vaulting! hahaha

  • @kderevan
    @kderevan 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    And a WOLF!

    • @ChadandPaul
      @ChadandPaul  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We were so pumped about the wolves. They can be hard to see- I think we got lucky. We visited right after the park re-opened so I think a lot more wildlife was out and about and near the roads and trails

      @kderevan 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChadandPaul My husband is an avid wildlife photographer and last fall in Yellowstone, he was never able to get close enough to the wolves to get a decent photo even with a 3-foot long lens.

    By the by... that barn is the T.A. Moulton barn. I believe he was part of a group of Mormons who lived there
