- You wanted to know if it's possible to get pregnant fast after having a baby. And it depends on a few different factors, one of which is if you're breastfeeding or not. Studies have shown that mothers who are exclusively breastfeeding is 98% effective at preventing pregnancy as long as your baby is less than 6 months old, you're exclusively breastfeeding and not supplementing with formula, and they haven't started solid foods yet, and your periods haven't returned. So if that's the case, then you're probably not going to get pregnant quickly, because the hormones that support lactation actually suppress ovulation, and if you're not ovulating, then you can't get pregnant. However, if you're not using any forms of contraception to prevent ovulation form happening, your body is going to slowly start returning to a fertile state anyway, whether you're breastfeeding or not. For some women, it happens sooner than others. Some women don't ever have a period and have a few little signs of pregnancy, so they just take a pregnancy test just because, and then "surprise!", it comes out to be positive, and they got pregnant sooner than they had planned on. If you're not wanting to get pregnant quickly, then talk with your doctor, and they'll recommend forms of birth control that are right for you.
Keep in mind that ideal birth spacing is 2 1/2 to 3 years from the delivery of one baby to the delivery of the next. And this is for the well-being of the mother, the growing baby, and the older siblings, for their emotional and physical well-being. And based on your past circumstances, there might be even more reason for you to wait that amount of time. For example, if you had a C-section, that's even more reason for you to wait at least that amount of time before having a baby again. Because when a doctor performs a C-section, they make an incision on the uterus to deliver the baby, and stitch it up, and it heals, but it needs time to heal. And if it doesn't have enough time to heal, then that increases your chances of uterine rupture. So studies have shown that this chance is higher if babies are born 18 months apart or less. So there are other reasons that a doctor might encourage a mother to wait at least 2 1/2 to 3 years before having more kids, so talk with your doctor first if you're wanting to have your kids close together, and they'll give you tailored advice that will help make sure that you and your baby are as healthy as possible during your next pregnancy. My oldest son was born on Nov 30, 2010. My daughter was born Oct 10, 2011. Both full term, both over 7lbs. It's definitely possible.

@eyeamjulian did what hurt? Childbirth? Yes. Getting pregnant 6 weeks after my 1st was born? No. But many women do still experience pain at that time, I healed well.
Oh, and yes having very young children close together is exhausting, but also an absolute blast. Worth it for me.

I was forced to give birth to my baby girls stillborn on June 11th.. physically I felt no pain, I had an epidural, I had no stitches or vaginal pain... but the emotional suffering I am experiencing is unreal... giving birth, while hard, is such a blessing... I wish I could've had my precious baby girls here with me, but I know they are in a better place.. it was unexpected and such a shock,, though I knew the risks having Monochorionic twins.. I just didn't think it would happen to me.. my next pregnancy, while I may fear losing them, I will not fear being a mother. I will feel so blessed and so much love for the baby or babies growing in my womb... it was my first pregnancy and I was terrified, I didn't have much support at the time, and I was extremely sick and diagnosed with HG (excessive vomiting in pregnancy) it was a whole Rollercoaster, but I'd do it all over again for my daughters, and my next babies... they blessed me with this experience, even though it was short-lived... I know what to expect next time, up to even giving birth, even though I had to give birth to them sleeping... God knows my heart and sees my pain, and I truly believe He will bless me again.. my babies changed me forever, and I will forever love them.. sorry for such a long message, I just saw this comment after awhile... I was only almost 6 weeks... I ha no idea what was to come..

Our boss wife is pregnant three Months after C-section delivery. He is so worried 😢😥 that her life is at risk. But an abortion at 16 weeks is definitely a No, my Dr. Told me theres nothing I can do is far along and I'm fine with it. But she did point out that I need to stop breastfeeding my baby by the time I reach 24 week of pregnancy. And to think very deeply about the delivery.

@@thisiszai2045 it was absolutely the hell. My baby was due 2 weeks early bc cholestasis and positive Covi-19. I was isolated and as soon as they did the cesarian the took my baby to the Nicu. I had nobody to help me to recover, so I did everything on my own. I was in the hospital for 1 in half, went home i try to recover from the c section n Covi-19. During the Corse of 2 weeks is was hell, symptoms got worse my surgery was painful 😫...i didn't see my babies my aunt n mom took them. It was a nightmare I cry everyday I thought i was not going to make it, breathing was hard, felt pressure on my chest couldn't cough, my energy was so low i pray everyday. And now well I recover, I have my babies with me my girls is almost 3 months both of them are Super healthy i couldn't ask for more 💗 🙏🙏

simply track your ovulation,periods may not come but you most likely ovulate(aside from pcos etc) buy cheap test from amazon and track once a day,u will see when u are starting to ovulate and can catch it then

No matter if you’re 40 or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.
So why if you have a still birth and we're given the go ahead to try again as soon as your body stops bleeding? How long does it take to get pregnant again? This video is very misleading. 😑
Hey! I had a stillbirth two years ago and wondered the same thing. As I thought about it more, it seemed like the advice to "try again when you're ready" was just based on mental state (meaning that I should wait to get pregnant until I was mentally ready). I do wish doctors would give us patients more clear guidelines, but I think they are trying to be sensitive to the tough time we are walking through.
As a side note, after my stillbirth I wanted a baby so badly that for me, getting pregnant again in a few months was the best thing for me, mentally (and physically, it turned out fine - I had a healthy baby!). But others need to take more time! I hope you're able to heal. Much love to you - stillbirth is so, so hard. ❤❤
@@ArielChadwick at 10 weeks postpartum with my stillbirth I got a positive test. Unfortunately I miscarried at 10 weeks. But we found out this could be caused by my uterus as is mishaped.

@@actionreaction3170 I got pregnant with the help of clomid 10 weeks after my loss. Unfortunately I miscarried that little girl. They discovered a reason for my reoccurring losses tho so now I can't try again until after my uterus surgery. Which will be February. If you have had a loss already (before your stillbirth) I'd strongly recommend going to see a fertility Dr before trying again. If we had I mightve been able to carry our daughter
