Can I ask specifically how you connected the purple wire? I work at a speed shop (newbie) doing this exact kit for the most part in a 66 mustang with a v8 engine swap. Non ac, but everything is the same. I’m currently wiring. Also, looks like the kit wants me to install the dryer on the shock tower! But it included the same grommet as yours haha
I was just messing with this yesterday. I forgot about the purple wire. I had it connected to my jump box. I found a fuse that was only on with the key, and I tucked it behind the clip for the fuse holder.
It looks like I have the identical kit. It instructs to connect the orange wire to the "key switch on, violet wire." Your video doesn't show that connection. Any info?
Seems like it was a month ago that we did that. My jacket still smells of exhaust.... And yes the car sounds even better in person than on the video.
The vacuum is the leak check.. thanks for the video
Looks like ya'll got it working great wow I see what you mean about the fumes good video on this thumbs up 👍👍
Fairly new to the channel. This is a great lesson on Vintage Air for the mustang. I plan on that unit for my 66 build. Keep it coming. Thanks.

I just found a fuse that had power with the key on.
