because the app will compress your image more, so putting it at 2700 or 2160 will not lose quality, so at the end of sending the photo, it will be at 1080px, wich is the maximum quality that instagram allows.

@@mikabeIa But why not make it 1350px or 1080px that Instagram uses? That way Instagram doesn't need to make it smaller and compress. Why 2700px and then Instagram makes it smaller?
If you dont know, lemme tell you a tip, its not 2700, its 2500px

Stories is 1920 pixel.
