Great video!!! I have an Iphone 12 and Im considering upgrading my phone largely for the camera features. Its kinda of crazy to think the Iphone 15 pro max has better video features than my Sony A6500.

Hi Jason, I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that TH-cam delivers a video either HDR or SDR, depending on the device it's being received on. This being the case means that you should, I feel, produce HDR, all the more given your iPad, MacBook Pro, and so on can all edit HDR content. Just my humble opinion and I'm seriously amazed that everybody is still stuck in downgrading everything tore.709.
Yes you are correct! What I was trying to say was not everyone has an HDR display so it’s harder to make sure the content looks the way we intended when delivering in HDR and then it’s being viewed as SDR.
And I didn’t mention this in the video but TH-cam has a longer processing time with HDR content. I remember having to wait a day or two before one of my video has the HDR badge.

i am considering between 14 Pro and 15. The 15 seems better in many ways but despite that, the 14 Pro have ProRaw, ProRes, Macro Lens and Telephoto Lens. Your video is helpful btw😉

I see different creators preferring different camera capture settings and would like to know why? Some say turn high efficiency off and use most compatible....whats the real difference?
High efficiency is being shot in JPEG, Most compatible is for 4k photos but no hdr

can anybody help me? do you know why iphones will create 2 pics? i take 1 photo but when i go the gallery there are now 2 pics.. 1 is how i originally took it and 1 is zoomed out (did not take it this way.. only took 1 zoomed in pic). it's driving me crazy!

formats-camera capture. you want most compatible, not high efficiency... you obviously want your phone do whats most compatible. high efficiency saves storage by lowering the res

Hey, you said that it's frustrating that it always auto switches to macro mode whenever you get too close to something. The fix is actually in your video, it's Lock Camera option, which you have it as off. Turn it on and you won't have this problem anymore regardless of the preserved setting.
I took a look at it! Looks like it only applies to just video sadly 😭 But all good, the Macro preserve setting has been helping a lot!
