Hi Wendy! Maybe I missed this, but when you use your paint brush to lightly blend the colours, is your brush wet? Or damp? Or just dry? Thanks! Your pics are looking fabulous!
@@marlletzzyne8758 Hi, no not normally, certainly it didn’t on this paper. Always best to check on a spare page if you aren’t sure, but generally acrylics don’t often bleed.
Hi Wendy These acrylic pens look pretty nice, you said something that made my ears perk up, it sounded like you said these were more like acrylic ink? Are they more or less like the acrylic paint markers, or are these different? Curious can you test to see if you can apply colored pencil over them?? Much thanks for your videos 🙏 ❤🥰
@@julescote1439 Hiya, all pens like this have thinner paint than a normal acrylic paint from a tub, otherwise it wouldn’t flow. It’s more like a mix between paint and ink. These dry pretty flat so yes I did use my Luminance pencils over the top of the dry paint in the video. You will always have a rougher surface than the paper but yes I can work my pencils over it. I added some darker colours and texture over the top. These pens dry pretty Matt so this also helps to allow you to colour over. It will wear down your pencil much quicker, and the surface won’t look as smooth as paper, but it can be done. 👍🏻 Always test somewhere on the paper you want to use before trying on the colouring page. I did try the pens and pencil in the back before trying it on the page. x Different papers will work better or worse, hth, x 👍🏻🫶🏼
Is it possible 2 blend with water ANY acrylic pens/markers? Or only these ? How about ohuhu? Was it Miss Mollie in the background? She must be so cute...Does she do any tricks?
Any acrylic marker should blend with water as long as you catch it when it's still wet. Yes it was Mollie tapping about on the floor, she's like a little tap dancer in the back ground. Believe me, she will not be ignored! I was scratching her with my other hand whilst colouring when I can. She wanted her dinner, that's why you can hear her moving about, she's generally poking me with her paw in my leg to remind me about it!😂 ( it wasn't quite time, but obviously she disagreed!) Also had a delivery at the door, so she probably did make a noise then, I think I cut a bit of it out, but because I was speaking, I couldn't cut it all out. Lol!🐶xx
Pls don't cut out Mollie from vids! Little tap dancer! :) Maybe u cld make a vid of her enjoying her walk? That wld be so cool ! Does she like it when u colour ? Pls Wen next time u make a vid make sure yer cam is on and recording ;)
Oops yes, you will need a damp brush, don't soak it, but just wet enough just to move things. You do have to work quite quickly as these do dry quickly compared to normal paint. They make a good base, nice and flat, not all paint marker dry as flat and matt as these. 👍

@@Ninjamom_colours Hiya, my brush is wet, not soaking, but wet enough just to thin the paint and move the edge a little. Thanks, x
