@@wendyscolouring Maybe try it in the end/ beginning of the book first, maybe that helps to be braver if you can test it on pages where it doesn't matter like the Impressum for example 🤔 It's definitely worth a try 😊💜

Yay! Doodle, Hope you are good, x 👍 Well I've worked myself up to doing that page! It's only taken me all year!😂 I don't know why I find these books such a battle, it was fine once I started, I've still got Voyage to work in, and that one make me even more nervous! I think with the pastels it's really about finding the right page to work them on to, you don't have a huge amount of control, so you need something with a bit of space I think. I was really impressed with the Satin Glaze over the top, it feels ok, and I think I should be able to work the Fairy like normal. ( It took a couple of coats to get it to a point I was happy with it) It was so quick compared to how I would normally do a background. I'm thinking perhaps in my amazon books, I could even dissolve it with some Zest it. It's just being a bit brave with it, I'm still on a learning curve myself with them. Have a play with them, x 👍🖐️ Hope the job hunt is going well, I'm finally on our 5 weeks break! Phew!

HI Carolyn, do you mean the Snow White Fabiana Book? ( No Alice in wonderland this month) I got mine from Amazon, they are out of print, but try searching for fabiana's books, and some sometimes do pop up. Failing that keep watching eBay to see if some turn up. Looking on uk Amazon, I can see an Alice in Wonderland germany edition, but I can't see a snow white I've shown here, x Sorry I can't be more help. 😢

Yes it was a bit of an odd colour choice wasn't it, but I quite like it as well. x Glad you like the blue, I suppose I'm just thinking ahead thinking about when I add the pinks, a do like a bit of purple near pink. Hiya, yes I've been doing that with my Cocowyo ones, ( using my phone) it works ok doesn't it. Not sure why but I prefer keeping the Mini mania books in the books, so I suppose I should just stop moaning about it!😂Thanks for mentioning it, though, its very helpful, x 👍❤️

Hi Tanya, Yes my colour along was in book 3, but I have book 4&5 now as well. Book 4 in particular I think is lovely, but I'm going to continue to work book 3 for now, I just keep layering the colours to build up the pigment to get strong colour. You do need a strong pigmented set of pencils as well. ( This month I've used Prism's and Chromaflows to get the strong colours.) x Thanks so much for watching. x

Hi Linda, yes, they do need lots of water, they work better when the pigments can separate. A textured paper also makes the effects stronger. They won’t work quite as well in colouring books, but you can still get some interesting effects. I’m looking forward to trying them in some of my backgrounds. 👍🏻❤️

I do love washi from here, it’s great quality for the price. No I don’t have any codes sadly. 👍🏻

@wendyscolouring Sorry to be a bother, but this just made me remember my Mary Engelbreit coloring books. Are you familiar with her? Also very much in this flavor. I googled them very quickly, it appears they may now only be available thru thrift store, or used book vendors. If you like the aforementioned you would definitely be a fan of ME . I'm SO excited your video made me think of her books🙏 much thanks🥰

@wendyscolouring Amazon U.S. has 3 of her coloring books up. But my personal favorite was the first, titled 'Something to Color', I just paid 67.$ for a copy from a thrift store, if that gives you any idea.😉

It's a super book, paper is pretty good I'd say, it is a bit smooth but not shiny, I doubt it will take watercolour too well, but pencils will be good. 👍❤️

Not loads for me, but books that I've been looking at a while and couldn't live without. I love them all, and even if I never get to colour them, I love looking at them. You probably are right about colouring the others, I have done a page at least in all my other Japanese ones, so in my mind I'm allowed!😂

I forgot my password on instagram and so for a few more days I'm stuck with this phone which has full memory that's why I don't get instagram here bcse it wld block this phone. Still without smartphone when evening comes I dunno what tp do with meself. Having read, coloured and done jigsaw puzzles in the evening I wanna just watch my fave youtube channels. Still although this phone memory is full I cldnt resist watching yer vid. Really enjoyed it as always. So now we have a new co-star, yer watch ;) Glad u found some nice books on decomade. The pages are quite large, ( Johanna Basford sized) and I seem to struggle to get those completed when I'm working. They are lovely books, the later books are more detailed, all very colourable really, Its definitely a "me " problem if you know what I mean, xx

Yes sadly the Kuratake ones rather made them look a bit boring in comparison didn't they. I like both, but the super vision effects are a bit more subtle so perhaps a bit easier to use in colouring books. The kuratake ones will be great for space backgrounds I think, the colour separation is very dramatic. I'm only really sad with the one of the super vision ones, I'm hopping perhaps further into the tube I might get a better result?

Mite work better on black paper 🤔

I'm really loving the Doll book, it's very cute, the illustrations and examples are so lovely aren't they. The little Aepol book, is very cute, and not too big, so should be an easy colour. I know what you mean about the Animal fairy book, they are very detailed drawings, but it's just so beautiful, I had to add it. It's escaped me for too long!😁 Thanks for watching Louise, x ❤️

Oops, sorry!😉 I am enjoying the Chromaflows, I've used them so much over the last two months, I've surprised myself really. I do like the colour choices they have made, it's a great selection, and works well. I'm sadly going to need some loose stock soon, so I hope they are getting a move on making it all, otherwise I'm going to be missing some colours soon. 😉 I don't think you'd regret getting them, they are a good set. 👍
