I never read in the application guide the 2'nd coat needs to be applied within 6-8 hours, only wait 4-6 hours for the 1'st to dry. While doing it within it 8 hours sounds like a maybe and would work, the REALLY important thing is any of the 1 coats must be dry before doing the next and more than 2 coats isn't going to happen in one days work anyway. Heavy coats are OK, but with the suggested 3/8 nap roller, "heavy" is relative I suppose.
How many sqft is your balcony? Wondering what the final coverage rate is per gallon? I am planning on 30 sqft per gallon but have more than I need! Not sure if i can go heavier to use up everything
SEMCO Liquid Membrane is NOT durable and it’s adhesiveness is very questionable. Despite following the exacting instructions of the manufacturer, I had numerous locations on my deck where it is coming up. I sent pictures to the company and asked for a refund but was rejected. Then they just quit communicating. I am having to go through the Nevada Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau to get resolution of this matter.
Great video, love how you go through the whole process in detail. I'm ready to buy some rubber and fix my leaking balcony, thanks.
Thank you 😊
Did you scrape off the original deck cover before applying the new rubber coat?
Yes, take a look here. th-cam.com/video/nj3-H6I8VPE/w-d-xo.html
@@PlanItSendIt thanks very much.

Appreciate the feedback, so far, so good.
I wanted to use LR (Liquid Rubber) brand products but can't find it anywhere except by delivery online. Where did you get yours? Thanks.
I got mine from Amazon.
@@PlanItSendIt Thanks. I was hoping to just pick supplies up locally, but seems Amazon it is.....
Nice

Actually nm. I see you mentioned it in the video. thanks!
No problem 😊
I wish I would've used up all mine and went heavier than I did.
Can I use this liquid over my vinyl deck, that is wear and tear now?
I don't recall seeing anyone use it on a vinyl deck, but Liquid Rubber appears to go over any solid base. Recommend reaching out to the company.
@@PlanItSendIt Thank you very much.
You might put the primer down wet 1st under the textile then top coat it immediately upon rolling it?
Yeah I could see that... might make it a bit more tacky to hold it in place. Ty
Can you list down all the materials you used? What's that white liquid you first put in, adhesive?
The white fluid was primer from the same company.
Love to see the fruit trees!
Thank you 😊
How's it been holding up?
So far no issues at all.
Does this coating come in different colors?
Yes, I think this comes in like 4 colors. Recommend checking out their website to see if on matches your project. Good luck!
How much would you charge to do the liquid rubber process per sq foot ?
Not my line of work sorry, but much respect for the compliment.
Can I use this on a Hardiplank balcony floor?
After using it, my guess is this works on most surfaces, but I'd recommend calling the company first.
I'm contemplating coating my front exterior door with this stuff 🤞
That's an interesting use... I can say I think it has a cool texture to it on my feet since it's rubber.
Where do you buy those products?
I ordered straight from the website
I hope you achieved the waterproofing you were hoping for but as for the appearance, it looks terrible.
Did this work on your issue?
So far I haven't had any issues
We didn't get much rain here, but can we circle back to your Liquid Rubber longevity on your balcony. -Thanks
So far, no issues.

Man, sorry to hear that.
Looks a right mess. Poor edging and the main area doesn’t look too good either.
It could've been better
