If your not gonna be able to see the lcd than you would want to just purchase the “TL” fan and not the “TL LCD” version. They have the same hub and the rgb is much better and brighter in this line than in the “SL” series. The non lcd version is what he’s talking about where at the center you can see the bearing and it doesn’t have a screen. I’m not sure what your saying about “the back of the pc” but it doesn’t sound like you have use for the lcd. So it’s not worth getting the lcd version. If you can’t even see the rgb either than it makes no sense for you to get these fans. Get the older “sl infinity” or even normal SL.
A lot of issues with these TL LCD fans, read the forums I am just going to say that mine are not working correctly straight out of the box. Never leaving negative comments but was expecting for them to work since they cost more than my RAM memory...
The question is how much added value there is to show information on a fan's display while you already have a screen or something similar. The target group of people who buy something like this is small, so I'm curious how long this product will remain available. Nice review by the way.

they're stunning. I just wish they would drop that cheap looking infinity mirror from the sides and have 2 thin lines of clean, under-stated and classy rgb instead of going over the top with the lighting. personally I would cover the infinity mirror and have the thin edge strips only giving light. other than that I absolutely love these.

Thanks for the great video! Btw, I'm wondering if using a better controller (e.g. Nollie32) would eliminate the need to have 2 separate controllers for 3 X LCD fans + 5 X Lian Li Uni Fan SL-Infinity Reverse blade fans?
Just had a question and a little confused. I bought two, 3 packs of the TL LCD reverse blade fans and I bought one SL Infinity fan for the exhaust. Does that work on the new controller? Idk if I was understanding wrong but does the new controllers work with the old fans I know you said the old controller won’t work with the new TL LCD fans but will it work connecting the old SL Infinity fan one to the new TL LCD controller?
If you buy the sl infinity in triple pack, it’ll come with the SL-INF controller. so you will use 1/2 controller of TL LCD for each chain and 1 SL INF controller for your exhaust. but if you but single pack of sl infinity you can use your PWM Mobo and Argb header to control the rgb (or if you have Galahad AIO with Sl INF you can use its controller)
I plan on changing my old Corsair ml120 elites to the TL non-lcd due to its high cooling performance and also looks better , here are the specs for the non reverse blade fan TL120 Non-LCD CFM: 90.1 H20: 3.97mm RPM: 0 RPM mode, 200-2600 SL-INF CFM: 61.4 H20: 2.66mm RPM: 0-2100 I’ve seen reviews on this fan and its cooling performance is very good and competes with the Lian Li p28 fans which are directly used for cooling and performance By all means it’s expensive but if you’re looking for aesthetics and cooling I’d say go for the TL Non-LCD (If you have that budget and you really want to upgrade)

CFM airflow is only one of the major factor when it comes to the overall temps. If you are a big fan of the old SL-infinity fans you can always make a couple changes to your system to comprehend the lower CFM.
