It's very low maintenance if you get the right crochet hair. I had surgery and installed Freetress beach Curl before the surgery. Barely messed with the hair; I tied it up with a satin scarf in a pineapple with a bonnet over it, took it down and shook it out/finger tease, and it held up for about 6 weeks. Only took it out because my real hair grew out. Hope this is helpful. Good luck with nursing school! 😊

I’m honestly not sure. It takes me about 1.5h to braid my hair and then I do the install... sometimes I spilt the hair ahead of time, so the install takes less time.
I watched a vid on crocheting w no braiding required. nightmare! The hair kept sliding down my hair I had so so so much hair it was heavy and discombobulated I ended up just taking it out wasting that money and time crying while doing so
I really like how you show how to do the cornrows made me feel Confident to try it myself and this will be my first time, wish me luck lol

you don't have to twist at night, but it probably won't last as long
