The mood of this raag is associated with "regret", "longing" and "contemplation". Can't call either of them happiness or sorrow. However, it's perhaps closer to sorrow than happiness.
I have heard Lalit raaga of many legends. But somehow when I listen this by Ustad Amirkhan saib, it takes me in different world. So peaceful and feeling like it has just come from the heart and soul - Ruhaniyat hai Truly mesmerizing

I am only listener have no theoretical or practical knowhow about the construction of Raha. But when I listen to a maestro like this legend, I conclude that the sound coming out from such legends forms the appearance of Raga.
